  1. Damn right it didn't go into supporting detail! To be honest, with a sample size that small you really can't go into supporting anything, because you can't support anything at all - especially when you're dealing with fundamentally small populations such as people "who would commit rape if they could get away with it". So there was one of those in one bucket, and none in another? Maybe one and two? That means NOTHING, and anyone who has even the slightest clue about statistics will see through this in a heartbeat. Ditto everything else mentioned in this worthless pile of crap of an article. Which is depressing. What's even more depressing is that I can't even work out whether the "journalist" who wrote this has an agenda or not. She doesn't seem competent enough to have even formed an opinion of her own on the subject, never mind got to the point of trying to convince anyone else. That's not "objectivity"; that's "too stupid to survive unsupervised".
  2. No idea, but invite me over and I'll help fix the problem! Why is it that "one beer" inevitably arrives in many glasses?
  3. The older I get, the more I realize that I'm turning into a zombie. 'Cos the only thing I really care about is.... brains.
  4. Happy Easter to everyone celebrating it... and happy not-going-to-work-for-a-day-or-two to many of the rest of us! And happy getting-some-awesome-appointments to the ladies who aren't getting the weekend off :)
  5. Well, there's no harm in doing so. Did she have a thoroughly evil grin on her face at the time? Do you have irrefutable proof that she actually said her Hail Marys after she'd finished corrupting you? Has she corrupted you again since? Just askin' :)
  6. There's LOTS of stuff on this on the board. Start with the New To This and Legal forums, and go from there...
  7. And if your ears don't make the connection to Iggy Pop, )
  8. Handles can be changed. I'm not quite sure how it's done, but I think if you just PM Mod and ask him to change your handle to a new one then he can do it. Obviously you don't want to make a habit of that, but I don't think doing it once would be an issue.
  9. As the others have said... just ask! As long as you're polite about it, there's no downside.
  10. You'd be better off looking/asking in the Timmins section of the board.
  11. That's nothing to do with the tablet or whatever device you use to access the network... it's policy set by whoever owns/runs the network. Your best bet for circumventing this sort of thing is a VPN service, which encrypts everything between your machine and the VPN gateway; this means you're immune to any policies set by the local network administrator, and has the added bonus that neither they nor anyone else can snoop on what you're doing. VPN services don't cost much. I've seen StrongVPN recommended here before, although I haven't tried them myself. As an additional added bonus, these are also good for getting around geographical restrictions on services like Netflix because you now look like you're accessing the site from wherever your VPN gateway is :) The better services will allow you to change - on the fly - the country that your VPN gateway is in.
  12. Well, having read through all the posts thus far on the subject, I'm afraid that I think this debate is missing a simple and yet critical component: data. Let's just consider BBBJs in isolation for a moment. There's a number of questions that need to be asked: - what are the conditions that may be transmitted? - what's the likelihood of each of those conditions being transmitted from a) the giver to the receiver, and b) vice versa, assuming the appropriate partner were infected and the other wasn't? - what's the probability of the partner in question being infected in the first place? - how do we rate the severity of catching the condition in question? - what other precautions against transmission may be employed, and how effective are they? - what level of risk are we prepared to accept? - what rewards are required to make an increased risk worthwhile? If anyone does think they can have a go at answering all those questions, I'd be very interested to see it... but your answer should include links to your sources of data (where relevant, for things like transmission rates) and justifications for value-judgements of a more personal nature (would you rather catch herpes or gonorrhea, and why?). And once you've done that... well, that's just the start. Once we've gathered the raw data, we need to start organizing it, and making judgement calls and trade-offs. Guys: would you accept a 2% higher chance of catching syphillis in exchange for a BJ that's 50% better? Ladies, is getting an extra client each week (on average) worth a 10% higher chance of contracting a particular HPV strain? I'll freely concede that I'm pulling numbers out of my ass here, but these are the kind of questions we should be asking.... and before we can ask the questions, we need to get the underlying numbers. Yeah, science is hard.
  13. If your meat looks like potatoes, you've probably got one. :)
  14. No, because it's a HOT tub :) I've done it once. It was great on its own merits, but there were two things I wasn't so keen on... The first was the hot-tub chemicals... not a sexy smell at all. The second was that it occasionally crossed my mind what else may have happened in the hot tub... although, I suppose they do at least have chemicals... So, I don't know that I'd do it again. However, if I ever get my own hot-tub and have someone over for an outcall.... :)
  15. I have an interest in what things are, and why things are, and how they got that way. It springs from there. Alas, I know very little about motorcycles.
  16. Don't assume that it's a hand, just because it's inside a glove. You have been warned.
  17. I wouldn't put it that way. All we're seeing is a difference of opinion between some folks who think this would be great, and some who prefer their meetings to remain strictly private, and some who may fall in one camp but care about what others may feel. And, of course, all those who are somewhere in between. Similarly, SPs differ in their preferences on recos; some may be happy with guys posting blow-by-blow accounts of appointments, others prefer to keep some stuff private, and a few prefer not to have anything written at all. My gut feeling is that there's plenty of scope here for ladies to write anonymized accounts of particularly good encounters, although any who do so will obviously have to be prepared to deal with questions along the lines of, "Why didn't you write about ME???". And yes, obviously the same questions arise whenever any of us guys see a SP or MA and don't choose to write a reco... but - if you'll all forgive the observation - I suspect the ladies are better at dealing with this than we guys are. SPs are by their very nature a pretty tough bunch, in general, whereas I think we guys are rather more delicate, especially where easily-bruised egos are concerned...
  18. Why is it that people insist on driving very slowly in the left-hand lane on the highway?
  19. To the OP: no, you are not overreacting. This is as every bit as dangerous and buttfuck-stupid as it sounds. Fortunately, most of the SPs around here are not stupid, and anyone even hinting at BBFS will probably get instantly blacklisted. And to the guys asking for BBFS, should any of them be reading... I don't mind you killing yourselves (I consider Natural Selection and the continuous improvement of the species thereby to be a good thing), but I'd be grateful if you'd refrain from trying to kill other people too. Please and thanks.
  20. Fifty bucks, OD? FIFTY? Are you kidding me?
  21. Ladies, looks like I need some more advice: OD was offering to de-flower me. Should I let him? Will I like it? Can I get my flowers back afterwards?
