  1. You can expect to pay about the same whether you see an indy MA or someone at a MP. The difference is that for an indy MA you'll know what the deal is up front and hand over an envelope with the whole lot in it; if you visit a MP then you'll pay two separate fees. There's a door fee that goes to the establishment and covers the use of the facilities, and then a fee/tip/call-it-what-you-will, which goes to the MA. But, as I said, it works out about the same. I generally just ask the MA what I owe her when I'm there, but many of the MAs a spas are on the board now so you can always drop one or two of them a PM and ask in advance if you like. If in doubt about $$$$, put a bit extra in your wallet, just in case! As far as tips beyond that go (anything extra for an indy MA at all, or anything beyond her bit of the total for an MA at a spa)... I believe it's always appreciated, but never expected.
  2. ...on a couple of points of etiquette. I tried asking the other guys, but they don't seem to know much about it, or even whether it goes well with bacon. To be honest, neither do I... First question: I've heard that gum is useful to disguise the smell of stale beer. Is this true? And am I doing it right? And does it make me sexier? Lee says it does because you can't see my face any more, but I think he's just jealous. Also, I was told that having flowers might help. Do they work? It's actually a lot of effort to keep them looking nice, 'cos Old Dog keeps eating them. Your feedback is appreciated...
  3. For whatever reason, there seem to be lots of posts over the last couple of days from new people who haven't posted much before. Which is awesome!
  4. Quite apart from anything else... I like her socks.
  5. Oh. My. God. I never realized. But when the truth is put in front of you like this...
  6. Bruce Springsteen is, of course, The Boss. But... did he earn it?
  7. Hmmm... it appears we were a bit off-base with this thread. It seems that you're not supposed to eat it...
  8. I've posted about this before, but it clearly needs posting about again :) First up: yes, this is always a problem. In any industry, there will be established names who have earned their reputation through years of delivering quality service. There will always be a number of new names, most of which (at any given time) will fall by the wayside, but some of which will eventually establish their own reputations and join the established names. And yes, there's the scammers. There's always scammers. They arrive, they rip people off, they change their names so that people lose track of who they are, and round we go again. Life being what it is, there will always be new marks who don't know any better, and so there will always be a niche for the scumbags. They'll always be there. you can't get rid of them. And although there may technically be legal recourse against people who rip us off, the law is expensive, and so they survive until word gets around. So, gentle reader... please note that I have not yet mentioned any particular industry in this post. What I've said applies to fly-by-night builders, plumbers, snow-removal people, lawyers.... anything really. Including, yes, SPs. Rest assured, ladies you are not unique in suffering the predations of the unscrupulous. But please, also rest assured that most of the people who fall victim to them are not your long-term clientele. It sucks for those who get scammed; but any of us who are here for any length of time (ie your repeat business, your long-term clients) know better, and understand the importance of the recommendation from another satisfied client, and please believe me when I say that the occasional threat from a scammer is no threat to your business. The big problem scammers have, obviously, is that they have to find new clients ALL THE TIME, because they'll never get repeat business. And the law of diminishing returns will eventually, inevitably, force them out of business. But anyone who provides quality service simply doesn't have to worry about that, because happy clients will come back, and will bring in other clients who will also go away happy in turn. So, yeah. The scammers are irritating. Ignore them. They'll last about as long as that spring mosquito, which is equally irritating. <slap> Gone.
  9. So, as I mentioned yesterday, hfxandy brought us - at great risk to himself, never mind his cargo - a bunch of interns! We've never had interns at BBM Towers before, and to be honest they were all a bit on the skinny side when they arrived. In fact, to be really honest, they still are a bit skinny, despite our efforts to feed them up with a high-bacon diet. They insist on eating these strange green things that that they call vege-tables, although I haven't yet worked out what was wrong with the tables we already had. The old tables are a lot tastier than the new vege-tables, because they now contain the accumulation of years of bacon-sandwich-making-spillage, which makes for an immensely satisfying bacon-flavoured snack between sandwiches. So, I'm sure you'll be dying to know what we've been doing with these exotic creatures? We got to work once we knew that Samantha had harnessed her man-harem to the sleds and was on her way... but when we heard Cat was driving, it was clear that their arrival would be sooner than anticipated and all hands would be required on deck if we were going to be ready in time. Well, first up, we had to make sure we looked nice for when the ladies arrived. So we got the interns to make a start on the ironing: (no, you didn't see the butt-plug. Move along) The BBM lodge has also been brought up to tip-top shape. We had them cut the grass: The hot-tub has been renovated... ...and the indoor pool, too. Of course, the interns need to be allowed some time off from all the hard work. Some of the things they do are self-explanatory: But some stuff, I simply don't get: But what bout me? I took up trampolining in an effort to get (somewhat) fit over the winter. You should have seen the grace with which I flew through the air! I floated like the Hindenburg, was almost as manoeverable, and also almost as flammable (bacon-grease does that). Alas, that escapade didn't last long, and the interns were unable to repair the damage... But after all that hard work (they ironed Lee's underwear, for Pete's sake!), they probably deserve a break: However, we do appreciate the importance of a good gin and tonic for the ladies, and that's much too important to leave to the interns. So, please, rest assured: Old Dog has been personally making sure that the ice for your G&T is of suitable quality! Samantha, Cat: if you have any complaints, please let us know, and we'll send him back in until he gets it right... But don't send him back too often, or he'll probably pee in the pool.
  10. I like Angela because she's the life and soul of the party.
  11. I have to say, my initial reaction is... 2000 posts? Is that all? It seems like far more... but then, I'm probably just making an assumption based on what Samantha brings to the community here, rather than actually counting stuff. Thanks for all your contributions, Samantha. We appreciate them all. More!
  12. Well, sleep well tonight, and Happy Birthday tomorrow!
  13. Lee, I remember you bribing the photographer to destroy the pictures. Fortunately, however, I had previously bribed him with a bacon sandwich to give me a copy. And yes, you do look fat... this is, after all, the world famous FB-BBM agency, and we have standards to maintain! Aaaanyway... you may have been wondering why our friend Hfxandy wasn't in the last update? Well, he'd been away, and had a hard time getting back. First, he had to find his truck... ...and then make sure it had enough gas... The driving got pretty hard at times, and we weren't sure if he was going to make it... ...I mean, we REALLY weren't sure! And the navigation was tricky at times. But... he made it eventually And best of all, he brought us something that we've never had at BBM Towers before. He brought.... interns! So, Samantha, that explains this sudden burst of activity from the BBM-cave - unfortunately the squirrels weren't up to working the treadmill to make our computers work, but the interns have done a marvelous job which has allowed us to get back in touch with the outside world (although I regret to announce that the cost in bacon sandwiches has been immense; so much so, alas, that I didn't have any left to bribe the photographer to give me any more of Lee's photoshoot). And we're so glad that you'll be coming to visit that we've now put the interns to work smartening the place up so that it'll all be ready for the arrival of your magnificent self, plus whatever assorted man-slaves you've required to pull your sled to get here. Actually, if you don't mind, we have a job or two for them lined up as well...
  14. Wow! It's been a long time since the last update from the BBM lodge. I'm sure you're all dying to know what's been going on, right? Right? Tough. I'm telling you anyway. Well, winter did not begin well. The problem was... Old Dog went to the bathroom... and came out with a look on his face. You know, that look. The one that says... trouble. So, whaddaya do? Seal the place up and hope it doesn't melt? Or dissolve? Or open a window? Did I mention that this was over the winter? I didn't? It was. It was a close call, but we couldn't risk the loss of the entirity of FBBBM Towers... so we went for ventilation. There were, alas, consequences... Well, we survived that. Just. We threw OD in the snow, because he deserved it: Lee Richards also visited FB BBM HQ recently. His official excuse was that he was going to learn to fly. I couldn't imagine anything that size learning to fly, but.... turns out I was wrong! Although I fear occult influences may have been at work... Lee also decided he needed some new sexy pics to entice the ladies. Well, we hired a top-Notch Johnson-photographer... but I don't think he enjoyed the shoot much... But it must have been worth it, because he got that rarest of shots... Lee doing - wait for it - exercise! Well, that got us up to the holidays. More news to come!
  15. Welcome! And... yes. Yes, it does. If you haven't found them already... the "New to this" forum has a huge amount of very useful information, and this thread has a lot of it packed into one easy (and entertaining) read. So, the first and far and away the most important bit of advice: read this stuff, because that's a lot easier than screwing up because you didn't know something. Tough, isn't it? And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but after you've seen a few ladies... it doesn't actually get any easier. Did I say "bad news"? Sorry, my mistake. I meant "awesomeness" :) Aaaaanyway... incall vs outcall is very much down to what you prefer. Some ladies only do one or the other, in which case it's not a decision you get to make if you want to see her. Generally, you'll pay a bit more for outcall as the SP will have travel expenses which she doesn't have if you visit her. Agency vs independent... doesn't matter, IMO. The important thing is the person you're seeing. Not really. As I said, pick the SP or MA first, and then the place really comes down to hers or yours (if she offers that choice, which quite a few don't). Read the recos here - there are lots of ladies with very good reputations. And to weed out the bad ones, keep an eye on CK's Diary, which is an invaluable resource. Well, Cleo and SMQ have lots of tattoos. So does Malika, if you can catch her when she visits. But there are a lot of ladies with at least a little bit of ink. And doubtless others with a lot. Well, you'll get that with almost anyone :) Good luck, and have fun!
  16. Although I should say that most things are now in one awesome thread, which should be mandatory reading for everyone.
  17. Well, it's a tough one, that. I can't even tell you what answers would be right for me, never mind what answers will be right for you. So, a couple of questions instead... First up: how does seeing SPs affect your relationship with your wife? Does it make you want more sex with her? Less, because you're sated? No effect at all? Secondly: what are the consequences of your SP visits being discovered? And what's the likelihood of this happening? And, despite the answers to those two questions being very hard to determine at best... is the risk worth it to you? Thirdly: how do you feel about it? Are you fine with keeping her in the dark? Is there a worm of guilt that gnaws away at your insides? If so, can you live with it, or will it eat you up? Obviously I don't know the answers to those questions, and it wouldn't necessarily be a great idea for you to tell me. But they're probably questions you should think about, and hopefully the answers - or lack of them - may nudge you towards one decision or another on the overall question that you asked. And yes, it may be that if you had the absolutely perfect wife then she'd be fine with you seeing SPs, which you would then have no need or desire to do.... but alas, we don't live in a perfect world, and we just have to make do with what we have.
