Hi Gabrielle, The price/value of Vizio unit you are looking at is excellent. It has higher end components and solid tech specs. There is mention in some reviews of the keyboard feeling a little different but overall it looks great. Sorry, just noticed a mistake in my post. Launch date of new ultrabooks and Win8 is OCT 26 and NOT Sept 21 as previously mentionned.

Hi Gabrielle, Given that you travel a lot, the 3rd generation ultrabook laptops (thin and light) would make sense for you. Presently, they are a little on the expensive side but, if you can wait until Sept 21 (launch date of Windows 8), their should be a lot of affordable ultrabook options hitting the market on that day.

Hi Emma, Basically, if you often require your keyboard to create content and this is a machine you want to do everything with, you are probably better off getting a laptop. The latest ultrabooks are very small thin and lite and they will provide you with a much better all around machine. Tablets are mostly so far great for consuming information and media as a complimentary device if you already have a main computer.

Lenovo B575 wireless stops working if I install windows critical updates

It is possible the windows updates have deactivated the radio in your Lenovo wireless management. Try this (Function Key - Fn) + F5. This should bring up Lenovo wireless radio control. Make sure radio control is activated. Hope this helps. P.S. Always apply windows updates to keep yourself protected online as most updates are security related. Hope this helps! -
