Barbarellas closing at end of year?
Blue Hornet replied to hopeful's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Stripclubs & Dancers
Sad to see this institution going away, there were many memorable evenings. I don’t get to Ottawa often anymore, but the article didn’t indicate a timeframe. Anybody have news on when Claridge would take over and break ground? -
Ariel is the star attraction for sure, but fun times can be had with Jessie or Katrina or Stacey if they're around

Any Jessie or Katrina sightings lately?

Personally, I think Apple should take this all the way to the Supreme Court. This opens Pandora's Box of issues around privacy. What if my phone gets stolen and now the security feature that prevents the thief gaining access to my private information (10 password attempts and then data is erased), is removed and now the perp can use brute force to get at the data? What if Iran or China made this request to Apple? Does this only apply to FBI searches or can CSIS make this request? I think the government is using the smokescreen of the atrocities committed in this particular case to win public mindshare and to gain information they have no business collecting... and they already collect a scary amount. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/may/04/telephone-calls-recorded-fbi-boston The whole wikileaks thing exposed a lot of what the government is doing spying not only on allies but on its own citizens. And when I say government, I mean Canadian and US. It's a tricky distinction between privacy and national security but in this case I hope Apple fights them all the way.

It's nothing to worry about, really. The admins need to buy a new certificate from Verisign or Entrust or whoever hosts the site. As someone else said, if you get this message on sites you're unfamiliar with, pay heed. In this case, I'm sure the admins will update their certificate in due time and we can trust this site. bh -
A couple of links of interest - Claridge has apparently bought the property outright and it's hard to imagine they would pay $685 / sq ft for a strip club property. http://www.juteaujohnsoncomba.com/newsletters/2015/January_2015_Newsletter_November_2014_Sales.pdf And this link seems to indicate that Claridge is planning a development on that corner beside the Lyon Street entrance and that a deal has been made already with the property owners. http://metronews.ca/news/ottawa/1366786/downtown-ottawa-light-rail-stations-will-blend-into-buildings/ But, the schedule for the Lyon Street entrance is May 2016 so maybe we have a few months yet.... hopefully.

Sounds like it might be Julia, not sure if she works at Barbs anymore, but the description is right. Malena is also a treat, but she's probably only 5'2" or 5'3" and doesn't have any tats.

I happened into town on a layover and popped into barbs tonight and had a great time with Jessie again tonight. Her hair was a bit lighter again, she has gone from platinum blonde to brunette to a lighter shade again. But the lean and fit body is the same, it is always a pleasure to spend time with her. She puts everything into her performance and never fails to satisfy. I also saw Joy, Tia, and the usual parade of Barb's hotties but I didn't have enough money to enjoy them all!

Nighthawk, here is some clarity since there have been two Jessie's at Barb's over the years (to my knowledge). There is one Jessie that is early 20's from Calgary, brunette and very hot, all natural with no tattoos (that I remember anyway). She was at Barbs maybe 2 or 3 years ago and then came back out west, although a friend of mine in Ottawa said she was at Barbs a few weeks ago under the name "Alex". There is another Jessie, French Canadian, early 30's with tattoos and enhanced breasts that was platinum blonde until about a year ago when she went brunette also. The older Jessie is the one that is dancing at Barbs now. There has also been mention on the board about Jessa's and Jessica's so it can get confusing, but the Jessie being talked about recently is the French Canadian one.

And I saw Jessie on Saturday, spent some good quality time getting re-acquainted. No Ariel, no Malena but I did spot Katrina (I think) and lots of other hotties that were mostly new to me. All in all, I am envious of you guys that get to spend time at Barbs, once in a while is not enough :)

I'm making it into Ottawa this weekend and wondering if anyone knows if Jessie, Malena, Katrina, Ariel are around these days? Any intel via PM or in the forum is most welcome :)
