Those of you who were around Barbs back in the 2008/2009 era may remember a lovely and talented lady by the name of Jasmin, one of the best Barb's dancers ever. She is today's Ottawa Sunshine girl. http://www.ottawasun.com/sunshinegirl/

Cato's Night Out, 2011 Edition
Blue Hornet replied to Cato's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Stripclubs & Dancers
That sounds like a perfect night, Cato. I'll just add that Jessie has been my favorite dancer at Barb's for a long time, she is just the sweetest thing and she brings incredible heat to the CR. The cuddling on the lap is a real Jessie-thing, when she gets that close, wow. Great bum, tastefully enhanced breasts and a smile that lights up the CR. I second the nomination for hottest body on the planet and wonder why she hasn't been in the best bums thread. We need pics  -

Your opinion - Federal Election...
Blue Hornet replied to Reddog01's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I think this is a a great result, so many positives to take out of this. 1) We finally have a majority and we can get away from these juvenile power struggles and have one path for the next 5 years. And for those of you that are afraid of the right, I would remind you of the strong power base that the Conservatives established in the Toronto 905 area - that area is historically socially responsible and fiscally conservative so I think there's every reason to believe that we'll have a socially responsible governing party. 2) The Bloc is dead - this is the best news. I'm sure historians will look back on this period and wonder how a party whose primary purpose was to break apart the country was even allowed to participate. Just watching Layton's speech here ***- he does realize that he lost, right? I mean, I know that they made some progress but Layton doesn't seem to know that he is powerless in this session. Harper and Carney will have their hands full, LOL. -
internet scams
Blue Hornet replied to Emma Alexandra's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I got one this morning where a guy phoned me from "24/7", THE computer experts (lol) and they know that I've got some horrible viruses that are degrading my system and if I don't act now my system will soon be completely unusable. So, being a hacker myself, I play along...... Me: "Wow, how do you know that?" Him: "We are THE company that takes care of all of your software and we are tracking your computer ID and we can see that you have many viruses (sic) problems. Do you see the Ctrl key at the bottom left of your keyboard?" Me: "ummmm, which one is that?" Him "The one that says C-T-R-L.... beside that is a key that has a picture of a Windows logo..... please, right away, hit the Windows logo key and R" Me: "And what will that do?" Him: "It will give me the ID of your computer so we can fix problem (sic). Me: "But you told me you already knew my ID number and you were tracking me. So, why don't you tell me what my ID number is and we'll go from there." Him: "Sir, you must hit windows logo R right away and tell me what you see so I can tell you your id number." Me: "Can you tell me what operating system I am running?" Him: "ummm, Vista (hesitantly)...... " (I am running Win7 and Server 2008r2 on VM) Okay, won't bore you with the rest of the loop, but for those who don't know....... Windows logo key (properly called the meta key) + R gives you the run command. Presumably, he was going to get me to run some .exe file on my system and then take control of it, plant some viruses/worms/trojan horses and then tell me that I needed to buy their software to fix it..... or maybe send my machine down to them so they could keep it, lol. If you get that call (unknown number, of course), either hang up or play along to your heart's content..... but don't EVER run an executable file on your computer that you don't know the source....... and don't pass along emails that tell you to pass it to 10 other people..... and don't pay money to anyone from Nigeria...... and if you're not sure, as many previous posters have said, ask to call them back. There are lots of scams out there, be careful :nospam: -
Sh*t Harper Did.

Kubrickfan, you bring up a good point but medicare is an institution north of the border. What is more surprising to me on this thread is the Harper-bashing and comparisons to the right-wing U.S. In my mind, and having travelled extensively throughout Canada and the States, the Conservative Party is more like the Democrats in the States - we don't have a comparable party to the Republicans. In fact, every party in this country is very centric, saying that we have left or right wing parties is really not true and I personally don't think there will be any difference no matter who is in power. The changes in this country over the last 30 years are due to 3 main factors in my view and they have nothing to do with the ruling party. -- the obsessive pursuit of power through politics by business leaders and academics -- the obscene amount of money paid to C-level executives compared to the average worker (in 1980, the ratio of executive pay to the average worker was about 50:1, today it's more like 350:1). People who think that they're worth that much more than the average person are on some power trip, imo. -- the power of the unions who demanded more and more for their members until jobs eventually got outsourced to more "economically viable" locations. One only needs to look at the federal government jobs here in Ottawa to realize that unions have run amok in this country - having protected jobs that anyone can do and having those jobs provide pensions and health care benefits that most of us can only dream about is wrong. There are thousands of Canadians that would take those jobs at 25% less pay and balance the equilibrium to a fair market economy. If the federal civil service was part of the free market economy, they would end up like GM, Ford and Chrysler unionists - they'd quickly find out that what they do can be done for much less by people who are just as qualified. The common theme to the problems is not right-wing or left-wing, it's greed and, in my view, Iggy, Harper, Jack, Duceit, or May are all in it for their own power-hungry purposes - not for you or me. That's my 2 cents, I don't see a change no matter which box my pencil happens to X on election day...... but I'll vote Conservative just because I want a majority party and stop this effin' nonsense of elections every 2 years and watching the grown-up children pander for my vote. -
Aspirins-EMail I Got Today
Blue Hornet replied to roamingguy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Probably goes without saying for most of the knowledgeable folks on here, but any email that asks you to send it along to 10 other people is an attempt by the originator to collect emails that litter the networks and our in-boxes. Never, never, ever fall prey to these schemes, you're only exposing your friends to spam. Having said that, the advice in these emails (like the aspirin advice) is often good as the spammers have become sophisticated in their messaging, but you can make your friends and family aware of such knowledge without forwarding the original email - that's the spam part. I hope I don't see this one in my in-box ;) -
I am in town for the weekend and looking forward to a pilgrimmage to Barb's!! I am hoping that my fave blonde Jessie will be there - does anyone know if she is also a SP? PM if that's more appropriate.

There are studies that have been done that actually support renting over buying, but you need to look at your own situation - what you can put down, what your monthly costs will be, value of money over time, if you think you might move around for your job, if you're comfortable doing a fixer-upper or if you want new, what an increase in mortgage rates would mean, etc, etc. The big advantage to owning over renting is pride of ownership, you should never look at your own house as an investment b/c you'll always have to live somewhere. Real estate, like anything else, is subject to short-term fluctuations and although Ottawa is somewhat insulated by the vast number of secure jobs in the public sector, there is no such thing as a sure thing. Investing in real estate is owning property that you rent out or that you buy purely for investment purposes (like buying farm land where you think the city might grow out to in 20 years). It's a many-edged argument, but what you need to do is get out your spreadsheet and look at your own situation and costs. That's my 2 cents, anyway

HAHAHA, that IS a great idea!! The only thing I would add to it is that there are four women on the SC so we'd need to get volunteers from the male audience to give a lapdance to them - or, maybe in the interest of political correctness, give each SC member a choice if they want to get a lapdance from a man or a woman. Their choices might surprise us I love the idea!!

Saying that blonde Jessie looks good is like saying that Wayne Gretzky was a decent hockey player, LOL. She's way hot!!! I only got to meet the brunette Jessie once when I was in town and she was mighty fine as well. What I would do to have a duo with the two Jessie's - blonde vs brunette, that would be a dream !!!

There's a couple of ways you could do this that I can see, but others may have better ideas!! First, you already have a link on your site but as kubrickfan said it doesn't seem to work. http://www.peachyval.com/home.html gives a 404 error message. So, one thing you could is update that in the About Me tab on your profile page. Second, and I haven't tried this myself, you could post the link in your visitor message in the big dialog box at the top of your page. Use the the little icon at the top with the globe and chainlink to put in your link . I think either or both of those will work, but maybe someone else knows a better way...... Hope that helps and good luck!

I think bkoesq was asking about Malibu Stacy, but you're right E.D. that there are lots of platinum blondes at Barb's. My own faves in the platinum blonde category are Jenny and Jessie.

Melena was there on Friday night, looking hot as always!

I haven't been back to Ottawa for awhile, I used to go into Barbs and see a blonde girl, I think her name was Jessie. She was a French-Canadian, bolt-ons as you guys say:lol:. I see a Jessie mentioned on the board but it doesn't seem like the same girl?? I am coming to Ottawa in a couple of weeks and would like to see Jessie again, if any of you know if shes at Barb's still or somewhere else, I would appreciate the 411. Thanks!
