When it's -2 outside and you are unlocking your bike from the bike stand and there are tons of people around watching, you break your bike key in the lock and realize its not going anywhere now. You quickly walk away in fear that people are now thinking that you were trying to steal someone else's bike. This just happened to me like 2 mins ago lol

I'm sorry if a thread of this sort already exists, I tried searching and found nothing like it! Since we have a favourite songs thread, I thought this thread would be a good idea too.. My favourite tv shows are: -Dexter (Did you know that this person is actually a serial killer sociopath? BUT HE'S SO NICE AND LOVABLE) -Private Practice -Law and Order SVU (I don't know why i watch this show since ever 3rd victim is a sex worker... gives me the creeps) -Gossip Girl (no laughing...) Anyone else have favourite TV shows?

For one of my passwords, once I typed in a bunch of random numbers and letters on my keyboard making sure it was less than 15 letters so that i couldn't log into my facebook and was therefore forced to study for exams... I wrote it down on a piece of paper, handed it to my roommate and told her only to return it once exams were over. once i got it back i was too lazy to change it so i eventually memorized it after typing it in each time. Now i have a password that's just a bunch of random letters symbols and numbers and is 15 characters long, but i'm sure i won't ever forget it because i type it in way too often! xoxo Sky

There is an entire book out there exploring the concept of virginity and the very first page makes the point that there is no definition of virginity, and that it's interpretation is relative to the culture/time period it exists in. A lot of people define "sex" as penis+vagina (and there is even debate around how long it needs to last, if one, both or neither partners orgams, does this change whether or not the act was sex). There are obvious problems with this model as it is very heterosexual based and we all know that queer people have sex too... And recently there has been an increase in the phenomenon of people having anal sex in order to maintain their virginity etc. All very interesting and sort of messed up. If anyone would like more info on the book I spoke of above, I'll post it here.

I echo what has already been said by other ladies above and I just want to add that not meaning offense and saying "no offense" never makes anything less offensive.

I would also like to add that this is a complex issue. I think that in a different context, one in which there was no stigma/discrimination around HIV positive people, then I would feel differently about someone not disclosing. But until that happens, I stand by my feelings on this.

I agree 100 percent!!!! I think people are too quick to make judgements and form 'opinions' that are not based on fact or reality, but rather myths and misconceptions... Wait a minute... this sounds familiar... Cough... Prostitution/Client myths and misconceptions!

There is a long history that shows that society is invested in the 'reproducing of the economy' and so essentially, by staying singleyou are defying what the power structures are working for. Good post!
