  1. I was 16 and attending a wedding my parents dragged me to. Things brightened up substantially when I hit it off with this smoking hot babe my age with "tits-out-to-here". I was working my mojo on her all night and man did she have my heart all a buzzin, that is until I was told that she was my cousin :(
  2. Some people think outside the box: Man uses one first-class ticket to get free airline lounge meals for a year Talk about stretching your dollar. A man in China purchased one first-class ticket on Eastern China Airlines and used it to scam a year's worth of free meals at the VIP lounge in Xi'an airport, according to a report from Malaysian Chinese newspaper Kwong Wah Yit Poh. Here's how it worked. The man flashed his ticket (which was legit) to lounge staff before his trip, hung out and ate a meal just like any first class traveler would, and instead of getting on the flight would change his flight's departure to another day. The next day he would show up with his newly issued ticket for the revised date, stroll into the lounge, eat hang out, and change his ticket date again. He did this over and over again. According to the newspaper, staff members discovered that the itinerary for the one ticket had been postponed over 300 times in a year. So did the unidentified customer ever take the trip? When China Eastern Airlines started investigating, the man simply cancelled his ticket before it expired and was able to get a full refund. A spokeswoman for the airline told the newspaper that the company has no way to stop such "rare act."
  3. Jay can now have fun tinkering with his cars instead of dealing with all the BS from NBC executives.
  4. There are risks to everything and there is no reward without risk. Driving is a huge risk on nice summer days, where you trust the oncoming car not to swerve into you, let alone on a snowy day where you are trusting all the cars around you to have decent tires and an awake driver. There are many streets in Toronto that I wouldn't want to walk down by myself during the day let alone at night. A lot of personal safety comes from situational awareness - if someplace looks shady, don't go there; if you find yourself someplace you'd rather not be, leave. The planet is an amazing place full of wonderful things for you to experience - you shouldn't let fear restrict you to a tiny part of it that in many ways is no safer.
  5. I come to CERB for the opportunity to interact with lots and lots and lots of super hot intelligent ladies, and a good group of guys. The recognition threads are just part of that interaction - and besides, who doesn't like to receive a "Happy Birthday" or "Good boy" comment in our everyday lives? CERB is also a great place for me to waste time that would otherwise be unwasteable and be spent working or god forbid doing the dishes - the recognition treads are just another way of wasting that time for me and I don't want to have to do work or dishes instead. ...I just heard a crash ... never mind, it was my pile of dirty dishes falling over.
  6. CERB and respected agencies aside, I think it is generally taken as a given that almost all Asian ad photos are fake and all other stats. (e.g., age 21 = 42) should be taken with a grain of salt. I could be mistaken, but I think part of the reason some Asian ladies use fake photos is so that they won't be recognized back home. The advertisers that post fake information have made it harder (and not in a good way) for all the many, many honest Asian advertisers who are passed over by folks not wanting to take the chance on B&S, or undergo extra scrutiny and grilling on the phone. As with many things in life, a few seem to spoil a good thing for the many. (my pre-coffee half-awake rambling).
  7. 21. Anytime you are shopping remember to buy condoms. It never hurts to have too many, too few results in painful blue-balls.
  8. Being single, I'm thinking of hanging around that McDonalds, there's sure to be someone's hot, angry, now ex-girlfriend storming out saying something like "taking me to McDonalds for V-day is bad enough but giving me the toy from a happy meal instead of a teddy bear, WTF!" and looking for revenge sex with the first guy she sees :)
  9. 14. Smiles are free - give them out often. 15. Say "Please" and "Thank you". 16. Never eat yellow snow. 17. Get a cat. Chicks dig them, they mostly take care of themselves, they pretend to love you and you won't need an alarm clock anymore as they will wake you up in the morning to feed them.
  10. I really enjoy reading your posts and I'm looking forward to the next 2,000!
  11. First the EU, next Canada and the US. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/10605328/EU-has-secret-plan-for-police-to-remote-stop-cars.html Bruno Waterfield and Matthew Day 9:50PM GMT 29 Jan 2014 The EU is developing a secret plan to give the police the power to control cars by switching the engine off remotely. The European Union is secretly developing a "remote stopping" device to be fitted to all cars that would allow the police to disable vehicles at the flick of a switch from a control room. Confidential documents from a committee of senior EU police officers, who hold their meetings in secret, have set out a plan entitled "remote stopping vehicles" as part of wider law enforcement surveillance and tracking measures. "The project will work on a technological solution that can be a 'build in standard' for all cars that enter the European market," said a restricted document. The devices, which could be in all new cars by the end of the decade, would be activated by a police officer working from a computer screen in a central headquarters. Once enabled the engine of a car used by a fugitive or other suspect would stop, the supply of fuel would be cut and the ignition switched off. The technology, scheduled for a six-year development timetable, is aimed at bringing dangerous high-speed car chases to an end and to make redundant current stopping techniques such as spiking a vehicle's tyres. The proposal was outlined as part of the "key objectives" for the "European Network of Law Enforcement Technologies", or Enlets, a secretive off-shoot of a European "working party" aimed at enhancing police cooperation across the EU. Statewatch, a watchdog monitoring police powers, state surveillance and civil liberties in the EU, have leaked the documents amid concerns the technology poses a serious threat to civil liberties. "We all know about the problems surrounding police stop and searches, so why will be these cars stopped in the first place," said Tony Bunyan, director of Statewatch. "We also need to know if there is any evidence that this is a widespread problem. Let's have some evidence that this is a problem, and then let's have some guidelines on how this would be used." The remote stopping and other surveillance plans have been signed off by the EU's Standing Committee on Operational Cooperation on Internal Security, known as Cosi, meaning that the project has the support of senior British Home Office civil servants and police officers. Cosi, which also meets in secret, was set up by the Lisbon EU Treaty in 2010 to develop and implement what has emerged as a European internal security policy without the oversight of MPs in the House of Commons. Douglas Carswell, the Conservative MP for Clacton, attacked the plan for threatening civil liberties and for bypassing the parliament. "The price we pay for surrendering our democratic sovereignty is that we are governed by an unaccountable secretive clique," he said. Nigel Farage, the leader of Ukip, described the measure as "incredible" and a "draconian imposition". "It is appalling they are even thinking of it," he said. "People must protest against this attack on their liberty and vote against an EU big Brother state during the Euro election in May." In 2012, Enlets received a £484,000 grant from the European Commission for its declared mission to "support front line policing and the fight against serious and organised crime by gathering user requirements, scanning and raising awareness of new technology and best practices, benchmarking and giving advice". The six-year work programme for Enlets also includes improving automatic number plate recognition technology and intelligence sharing. Although the technology for police to stop a vehicle by remote control has still to be developed, Enlets argues the merits of developing such a system. "Cars on the run can be dangerous for citizens," said a document. "Criminal offenders will take risks to escape after a crime. In most cases the police are unable to chase the criminal due to a lack of efficient means to stop the vehicle safely." The introduction of stopping devices has raised questions of road safety. David Davis, the Conservative MP for Haltemprice and Howden, warned that the technology could pose a danger to all road users. "I would be fascinated to know what the state's liability will be if they put these devices in all vehicles and one went off by accident whilst a car was doing 70mph on a motorway with a truck behind it resulting in loss of life," he said. "It is time legislators stopped believing technology is a form of magic and realised that is fallible, and those failures do real harm."

  14. Reminder for the guys: Valentines Day is next Friday, February 14th. Forget about it at your own pearl. What is everyone planning to do for V-day? What would make the day memorable for you? What is/are your most memorable Valentines Day's past? I'm thinking taking your SO to McDonalds would make the day one of the most memorable and talked about for years on end: I can only imaged what the musical selections might be, but these may be on the list: 'Somebody That I Used to Know' 'Cry Me a River' 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' 'Since U Been Gone'
  15. Don't forget: Robin Hood, the prince of thieves.
  16. Men have the choice of boxers, briefs and boxers-briefs. Ladies have a much wider selection. Here's a new example: Futuristic bra only opens for 'true love' By Alyssa Danigelis Published January 28, 2014 Discovery News Well, the Japanese have done it again. Apparently this tech-laden bra made by the lingerie company Ravijour will only unhook for "true love." The "True Love Tester" bra can't be masterfully unhooked by some skeevy player who hit on the wearer at a club. No, this bra only comes undone when sensors embedded inside it that are connected wirelessly to a smartphone app detect a particular heart rate (video, safe for work). According to the Victoria's Secret-like company that made the bra, Ravijour, a particular heart rate over time indicates "love." And what do you know, they even have a graph comparing the effects of jogging, shopping, eating spicy food and watching a horror movie with "flirting" and "surprise gift" on a lady's heart. What better way to acknowledge being "in love" than having your glittery bra fly open? Ravijour's slogan is "We do anything for women." Apparently they do anything to free the girls, too. Might not want to wear this thing around in public, though. The dude-designed bra cups pop open pretty dramatically.
