I have a question
qwertyaccount replied to Loralee Reach's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Hi LoraLee: It depends on the nature of the enquiry. If it's a general question, say, your shoe size, general area, favorite drink, etc. no follow up e-mail is needed, although a thank you would be polite. On the other hand, if he's asking about a time slot, then a go-no-go response is expected, and to not reply is rude. Keep in mind, e-mail is imperfect and there may be a delay, sometimes measured in hours or days, for your e-mail to reach him or his response to reach you. Life also sometimes happens, maybe he dropped his phone or spilled coffee on his computer and simply can't reply. As has already been suggested, when giving a time always ask "please confirm by 3 pm otherwise I may have to give your time to someone else" that way you aren't left with a possible maybe appointment. Oh, and it's not "First come first served" it is "First come first cum" :) -

Unsure....getting caught???
qwertyaccount replied to Kenny Micheals's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Generally, you don't bother LE, LE won't bother you like speeding 110km/h on the 401. Most LE hate paperwork and would rather drink coffee and eat donuts. P.S. To any LE's reading this, it was a joke! -

I like the Brandy part! Try: Clean with rubbing alcohol followed by polysporin -
Thanks for the education guys! The obvious never dawned on me, that it will be different in different areas of the country. I have no idea how it really is in Toronto, but if a tenth of what Samantha?s clients, etc., told her it is disgraceful. This is a respectable industry if only the scum could be eradicated. No matter what, I think that coming out to campaign in public will probably attract very few participants, using the adult video industry as a comparative, since it is unquestionably 100% legal, most actors & actresses intend to work for a limited time frame, say until they graduate university, hence the stage names, and then move on to conventional work leaving their old profession behind. Getting over the cultural stuff seems like a tough nut to crack, but if a trade union could be formed that would eliminate most of the wrongdoings, it couldn?t be anything but a good thing. On a lighter note, I did solve most of the bait & switch issue; it?s the real girls, just with good makeup & photography: http://www.redflava.com/2010/interesting/before-and-after http://www.jokeroo.com/videos/funny/trick-people-thinking-youre-hot.html

I'm thinking you have an IE add-on that is "helping" you. Try this - use "Tools -> Internet Options", select the "Programs" tab. On the tab, click the [Manage add-ons] button. Try disabling the add-ons and see if the problem goes away, then you can start enabling the ones you want back one at a time, checking for the issue to re-appear after enabling each one.

RMT's are also income tax deductable as a health care deduction. I wonder if there a best of both worlds available (a tax deductable happy massage).

Great information and insight Mod! This thread really answered a number of questions. I?m really new so I have to ask the really dumb questions. Assuming that the photo for an ad is a true picture of a lady, and that "all the girls are ?public?, which means they don?t work for any specific agency", is it possible that in some (probably very few) cases, the agency is on the up-and-up and the lady chooses to switch shifts with one of her co-workers, and forgot to let the agency/agencies know, or that she forgot to show up for work and one of her friends is covering for her? I know a (small) bit about dealing with younger employees, some are irresponsible, some are lazy, some are forgetful. Think of the staff of a McDonald?s or Tim Horton?s. In such cases, instead of being lied to ("I?m Tiffany") a better story would be "Tiffany?s car broke down, but I?m her sister/cousin Maria", which in some cases could be a bit of a turn on with a desire to return to visit the sister/cousin Tiffany. Avoiding CL, although defunct for now, seems to be a no-brainer. I?m guessing the same is true for Now and Eye. The true B&S switch operations should be identified and black-balled (thank you tineye.com), I can only hope that the others are just stuck with the odd bad employee, and those employees should be identified and complained about here and more importantly to the agency, who knows, there is a chance that they might be in the dark. How come there are almost no B&S reports, at least in the forum "Toronto Warnings: To Report Bait and Switch, Scams..."? I guess it really comes down to, when in doubt, be loyal to Canadians!

Threat from CL Contact
qwertyaccount replied to always21mease's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Even with a warrant, if the IP address is dynamic, which 99.9% if the time for a consumer it will be, the ISP would have to research who that IP address belonged to at that point in time. This can be a labour intensive and time consuming task, depending on the ISP, the type of service, etc., if those records are maintained at all. They might claim to know your home address, dog?s name, etc. but there are several Nigerian Princes that do as well and they at least want to help you get your $50 million inheritance. -

Most consumer IP addresses are dynamic, meaning that they change from time to time. Today 1.2.3.4 is your address, tomorrow it might be the church down the street. If you ever want to find out what your (public) IP address is, visit http://www.whatismyip.com/ If your address is dynamic (and it probably is), and you want a new one, most of the time you can accomplish this by turning the power off (or unplugging) the cable/DSL modem for a while. The best thing to do with these sort of people is not respond. By responding you're giving them what they want, and perhaps unintentionally additional information to antagonize you with. -
Thanks for the info! The tracking bit makes a lot of sense. Many normal companies will use different phone numbers and/or extension numbers to track the ad source. With the low cost of cell phones, this could be a viable alternative for the ladies. I haven't done a lot of investigating, but you are right, I did notice it mostly (if not entirely) among the asian ads. Thanks again for all the info & tips!

Thanks Kyra, that makes a lot os sense. The adult video entertainment industry seems to have solved this problem years ago, actors picked either a really unique single name, or a (sometimes very creative) first & last name. I can only hope that this industry follows suit so my head doesn't hurt so much trying to figure out who is who.

Question for the ladies...
qwertyaccount replied to Sensual Erin's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
You sounds like such a sweet girl, I?m sorry that this happened to you. All businesses get their share of scumbag customers, be it shoplifters, bad cheques, etc. It?s just part of the cost of doing business. The ladies are right, cash upfront. No gentleman will ever be offended. -
Hi All: I did some searching and couldn?t find an answer, I?m sure it has been discussed many times before. I?ve noticed that some girls change their name from one website (or agency) to another, and can?t figure out why they do this, other than to confuse me. I know some of the pictures are recycled in bait & switch schemes, but others appear legitimate. Do some girls change their working names and just not update all the sites, or is there another reason? If they use multiple names, how on earth do they keep track - I have trouble remembering my one name some days. Could this be behind some of (but not all) the B&S reports, there are so many Coco?s how could the agency know which one was requested.

A domain name registrar and a host are two separate things, although plenty of companies will do a one-stop-shopping bundle. The registrars, where the domain name is registered, shouldn't/couldn't care less about the sites content. The host, where the site is "physically" located, can care because of bandwidth/traffic concerns, their moral standards, etc. Once you have a domain name (e.g. whatever.com) registered, it can be pointed to any host, and moved to any other host at any time without needing the cooperation of the old host. This is different than porting your telephone number where everyone has to be in agreement. Hope this helps more than confuses.

How To Have Sex With Escorts: A Primer

I didn't even notice - that is damn funny! Seriously though, it's a great book and doc love can help drlove both get over this problem chick and avoid mistakes with the next. drlove - you were right not letting her try to change you and not compromising. The phone should have only been for making dates, no chit chat. You'll be tested by "the one" until the day you die. Making an issue of the hand print was ok, her overreaction wasn't. Best of all, you didn't have to spend money on a Xmas gift -- more hobby money! I'm sure that there is more than one Cerb lady that would love to cheer you up!
