  1. I buy books online at Chapter.ca and Amazon. There's many books I can't find in the book stores I can only get from these places. I've shopped La Senza as well and The Shopping Channel for the showstoppers and specials that are of good value. It's nice to sit in your jammies and shop from your living room. I've been doing so for many years now.
  2. Absolutely! I would be upset in my photo made it into any of these threads for public display. I'm a very private person. Permission, respect, and discretion is needed, and these threads need to be kept that way.
  3. Congrats Megan! Your posts are always insightful, informative and interesting. You have earned that double tiarra. :)
  4. Thank you everyone for your kind words and discussion. My albums are private and can be seen if added as a friend.
  5. Thank you everyone. Your recommendations and kind words are very much appreciated.
  6. My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers, sent your way Pete. Erin
  7. Congrats Girl! Cheers to keeping us entertained and putting a smile on our faces. :)
  8. Let's not forget Jeff Beck. Brush with the blues.

I love this picture! Beautiful smile.
  10. Thanks so much everyone. What a wealth of information and now able to add to my grocery list. What a great community! :) All your help is very much appreciated.
  11. Thank you. Not many Canadians I guess know of him, and you were my only commenter today, and appreciate your response. He was a Wall Street anchor legend and will be missed.
  12. Thanks so much everyone. I'm overwhelmed by the replies and trying a few. Mind you, that steak and baked potato looks pretty good right now. :) Additional Comments: Thanks Berlin. This site is very helpful and great resource. Going through it now. Additional Comments: I do love my tuna but can't eat more than one a day. I like cottage cheese and may mix with boiled eggs. I like the fact GNC offers a return policy if you don't like the taste. I bought a latte version of protein and it tasted bad. I never finished it and they're not cheap. Thank you. : )
  13. Thanks Cleo. I'm going to give the Tofu thing a try. I've gone vegetarian before and if I can season it properly I may like. I'm looking for powder recommendations as well that won't encourage muscle bulk, just nutrients. Oh my gosh! You're right. What have I set myself up for? lol! You've all been warned ahead by Miss Cleo!!!!!
  14. Hi Folks, I'm week two now on an intensive work out plan that focuses on core strength and has been as tough as hell, but well worth it. The strength I have gained has been quick but I think I'm lacking in protein. I find myself now craving carbs more than ever and must eat meat every day. I only want to eat meat a few times a week as it's not the healthiest source. I prefer a more vegetable based diet and was wondering if anyone can give me some good protein recommendations? When I walk into the Health Food store the variety is just too much and do not want to have to rely upon Health Food salespeople that may mislead. Thanks ahead for any recommendations.
  15. I never knew Randy "Macho" Man, but lost a great icon myself today in the Wall Street Anchor world. It is saddening especially if you're a fan or if they're a mentor. Thanks for commenting on my thread as many do not watch CNBC, and you expressed your condolences. Rest in peace Randy and Mark Haines.
  16. Great point Megan. I've heard it said that a preference for blondes is actually built-in to our genes ... Blonde hair is a recessive trait, disfavored by nature/evolution. Hair is pretty much superfluous and primarily serves as a device for attracting mates. So if you have lush hair in the color of a recessive gene, it means you have a fully-functioning immune system, an adequate food supply, etc, and a good candidate for reproduction.
  17. Today is a sad day for those of us that tune into CNBC every morning to watch the morning squawk box breakfast before the markets open. He was a proud American, had great wit and humor, wasn't afraid to give his opinion and I really enjoyed him. He will be missed by those who have known him well and woken up to his morning report. The CNBC episode that I will never forget is the Mark Haines live reporting of 911. His emotional reporting of the tragedy was top notch. If you did not see this you missed live television at it's best. Here's a quick clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTppoBZKC4s http://www.cnbc.com/id/15838129/site/14081545/
  18. I don't think it's a good idea to ask a lady or form a group. Even though marijuana has become much more socially acceptable this past decade, it's still an illegal drug and I don't think this is the place to discuss this.
  19. Agreed. There is a difference between publicly announcing an unsatisfactory encounter or just taking it up directly with the parties themselves. This leads to PM inquiries, slander, personal opinions and is definitely not conducive to what this board is built upon. The rules should apply to us all.
  20. I think it's a trickle effect from clients with these expectations. Model looks do come in all shapes and sizes but lots of men will judge a larger girl as not the "model type." Tyra Banks even has plus size models that can compete with the skinnier girls and do have "model looks" and in many cases prettier than the skinny ones as they glow with health. They're real women that love life and enjoy everything in balance. That to me is sexy! I don't think weight should have to be revealed or lied about to start with. An honest lady that has pictures of her body to be seen, is symmetrical, has the perfect hourglass, and takes good care of herself. Whether it be 34 24 34 or 42 32 42. Body weight should never be a question for any of us to have to answer really. Additional Comments: So a beautiful lump of non sexual 'Model looks" stereotype that just lies there is the ideal? I'm a woman that has an appreciation for the female body and know many ladies over 30 as well that are drop dead gorgeous, sparkle with personality, confident, know themselves with maturity and what they value, know and expect from men they meet on a personal level. You may not be able to date them either. Sorry but it's very true! :) Age is a number, weight is a number, a beautiful woman on the inside and out, is absolutely priceless!!!!
  21. Glad I missed that as well. On another note, when you ask a lady to go on cam and we refuse do not beg or ask us a second time after she said no the first! We do not go to private chat for these things. The ladies do go on from time to time but at our own leisure, discretion, with class and not to stimulate your???? Chat is not a cam show!
  22. I have a few as well: Why does Bell Mobility give a spending cap of 300 but cut off your outgoing calls and text when you reach 145? Why is Environment Canada not giving any explanation to the reason it rains six days out of seven so far this spring? Why when you return to Loblaws with your receipt of a 50% off item you purchased a few days ago, won't give you a refund unless you bring back the item? This was a big bottle of Tide and not carrying it twice? Why people choose to use ur rather than you're or your? Grammer has gone straight down the drain since texting got popular and people now use it everywhere. Why are young white guys with ball caps and baggy pants calling each other "dawgs?"
