  1. Cato! I owe you waaaaay more than a beer! The thing I most want to congratulate you for is not so much the quantity of your posts but on their quality and contribution to our Lyla/Cerb community. You are a star, a positive one, and a tremendous contributor. I'm (still) looking forward to connecting with you at Barb's!
  2. Mistress you are a class act. Whenever I hear something underwhelming or critical I take the time to consider the source. Mr. H has only been on here for 2 months - hardly time enough to be happy - and 4 of his 5 posts are on this thread seeking info. I guess I hope he will be gentleman enough to pm you but you shouldn't be disappointed if he doesn't. Best Regards, waterat
  3. Not 'blaming' the OP but, at the same time, this sort of situation is avoidable. Clearly the problem arose from the SP's actions. Every time I participate in this hobby I happily yield to temptation! What I found 'sketchy' was the description of the SP being 'pressured' to get more of the drug - others have commented on this and provided unanimous advice on not providing more. I agree.
  4. Neither you nor I need to know. Your concern can be addressed by not hosting in-calls, following your gut instincts, not leaving your prescription meds lying around (not anything else) if you're hosting out calls. I'm not overwhelmed with sympathy for the provider in question but we truly don't know all the details, sketchy as the whole scenario appears to be, so I'll use my common sense and not worry in the least about having a negative experience with this provider should I happen to visit with her.
  5. Kilt Boy: you didn't mention if they were female police officers. I'm guessing they were and hence just chatting you up because the 'love the kilt'. Did they ask to meet your staff member?
  6. Be sure to leave the envelope/card unsealed so it's easy for the lady to discretely confirm the contents.
  7. OK I'll admit I'm an infrequent SC attendee... 'Creep factor', what is this creep factor? I don't appreciate some clown handing me a slice of paper towel and expecting a tip...
  8. In the world of consulting/engineering you can have a project done on time, done right and done on budget but you can never get more than two out of the three.
  9. It's already here on lyla and the ladies do all that work for us with their ads.... Get out there and enjoy!.....
  10. lol... he asked you not to tell him that! Keep perusing BP for more TGTBT ones and then, finally, rememer you're on lyla for many reasons.
  11. @cgnex: I don't think Megan said anything about women of colour in her post. I read it as a general comment about limiting the number of dancers but that being said the thread is about a limit on the number of ebony ladies. I'm with Notch on this one - for me, Black Girls Rule in all the best ways!
  12. Don't think he can post a reco until 5 posts..... which is probably a good thing, lol. You're right though Randy - a comment in this section would have been a contribution. Lesson: Give first then seek info...
  13. I'm no business man, simply a hobbyist who really appreciates how lyla operates now. No doubt the future owners will need to follow their own business plan but I have to hope there's some benefit in carving out a unique market like lyla and not going head to head with BP and CL. Hoping to get plenty of warning of significant impending changes in order to update my black book with all the contact info of the lovely lyla ladies I appreciate and respect. This is a great community but I understand if the business model needs to change.
  14. Megan: it is good to generate traffic to your website and yet lyla provides excellent traffic - Here is a good section to post in - it hasn't in the past generated many posts: Ottawa FETISH, DANCERS & CLUBS and other ALTERNATIVES - Schedules & announcements Bridgette, a long time (though infrequent) and popular dancer at Barbs has used this section effectively and also simply updates her availability on her profile. A shout box post can direct gentlemen there.
  15. Yes Megan it is clear you work at Barb's. 2Big may have meant to type when instead of where. Regardless, advertising your shift times helps those of us who would like to meet you (me! lol). Adding a location if you happen to tour to another club would help too. Whether it's your website, twitter or lyla it helps to get the info out there.
  16. Chrissy thanks for starting this thread. I have to admit it saddened and disturbed me to find out that a rule like this exists and that club owners have some rationalization for using it. It is simply wrong. To cheer myself up I put on Bruce Cockburn's 'Free to Be': Got no social graces Never known my place But there's one thing I am sure of You can't judge a person by their race Birth doesn't come easy Freedom doesn't come cheap Rules and worlds get washed away while you waste your time in sleep.....
  17. I suggest you ask the ladies in your local area (?) and see who responds. You may not have many options in Cochrane.....
  18. Enjoyed a too brief couple of hours yesterday afternoon from about 3:30 to 5:45. Missed taking Tasha to the CR as she got busy (no surprise there) but did manage a tour to the CR with Eva and she delivered great pleasure - she is a tiny little thing with nice curves. Rocky do you know the name of the tall, very slim, ebony dancer? She definitely cought my attention but had to leave before a visit with her.
  19. No. Not just you. They've been having website issues for some time now but this could simply be that Alexxandria is too busy to deal with the schedule update!
  20. Welcome Karmen! Lyla is a wonderful, positive community. I'm Ottawa based where there is consistent and considerate involvement in this forum but it needs and deserves to expand! Hope you have a great time here. Enjoy. waterat
  21. Lexi: As you've been at this for some time and, and it appears to me, to have taken your time I hope you appreciate this lengthy quotation: Quotes from Zorba the Greek By Nikos Kazantzakis Chapter 10, final paragraphs I remembered one morning when I discovered a cocoon in the bark of the tree, just as the butterfly was making a hole in the case and preparing to come out. I waited a while, but it was too long appearing and I was impatient. I bent over it and breathed on it to warm it. I warmed it as quickly as I could and the miracle began to happen before my eyes, faster than life. The case opened, the butterfly started slowly crawling out and I shall never forget my horror when I saw how its wings were folded back and crumpled; the wretched butterfly tried with its whole trembling body to unfold them. Bending over it, I tried to help it with my breath. In vain. It needed to be hatched out patiently and the unfolding of the wings should be a gradual process in the sun. Now it was too late. My breath had forced the butterfly to appear, all crumpled, before its time. It struggled desperately and, a few seconds later, died in the palm of my hand. That little body, I do believe is the greatest weight I have on my conscience. For I realize today that it is a mortal sin to violate the great laws of nature. We should not hurry, we should not be impatient, but we should confidently obey the rhythm of people and things.
