I am curious as to what style and material you ladies prefer in your undies. Panties are divided into various types based on such criteria as amount of rear coverage, width at the sides and height at which they are worn. These categories are not necessarily distinct and usage may vary somewhat among brands: Briefs rise to the waist, or just below the navel, and have full coverage in the rear. Classic (or full brief) features sides that extend below the hip. High-cut (or French cut) is designed with sides that are somewhat narrower. Boyleg (or boyshorts) are styled after men's briefs and may have short legs extending below the crotch. Control panties (or control briefs) are special and designed to offer support whilst giving a slimmer appearance. This type usually contains a stretch material such as spandex and may extend above the waist. Hipsters are similar to briefs, but are worn lower down the body, with the waistband around the hips. Bikinis sit at hip level, like the Hipsters, but the fabric of the side sections is narrower. With the string bikini type, the side sections disappear altogether and the waistband consists of only string-like material; also, the rear coverage of the bikini is not as concealing as the design of the brief. Bikini is the most widely worn style amongst women worldwide. Tangas provide full rear coverage, but the waistband is reduced to a narrow strip at the sides. Thongs have a waistband similar to tangas, but the rear coverage is not as full. The crotch is extended to the back of the wearer and a narrow strip of fabric fits between the buttocks, becoming wider towards the top. The G-string is a thong with virtually no rear coverage and the narrow strip at the back extends to the waistband. This type exposes the vast majority of the buttocks. Panties are made of a variety of materials and fabrics, including satin, silk, PVC, cotton, nylon, mesh, lace, rawhide, leather, latex, lycra, and polyester. Construction typically consists of two pieces (front and rear) that are joined by seams at the crotch and sides; an additional gusset is often in the crotch, with the waistband and leg-openings made from elastic.

http://theweek.com/article/index/232186/a-male-birth-control-pill-that-doesnt-kill-sex-drive The quest for an easy-to-use male birth control alternative to the condom appears to be forging ahead. In the new issue of the journal Cell, scientists are optimistic about a new pill that temporarily stops the production of sperm â?? without any damaging side effects. Sound too good to be true? Here's what you should know about the discovery: How does the pill work? Researchers discovered that a chemical called JQ1 can make a man's testicles "forget" how to produce sperm, says Maggie Fox at NBC News. But that's not all: The molecule pulls double-duty as the centerpiece of an experimental cancer drug that similarly makes cancerous cells "forget" how to be tumors. Researchers correctly guessed that it could do the same with healthy sperm cells. JQ1 works as a pill because it can penetrate the boundary between blood vessels and a man's testis, where it targets a protein called BRDT that's responsible for sperm production. Mice given the compound not only produce much fewer sperm overall, but the cells they do produce are "much worse swimmers," says Tim Barribeau at io9. Why is this pill more desirable than others? This kind of non-hormonal treatment is advantageous because it doesn't change testosterone levels. Other research into male birth control pills has "largely focused on manipulating male sex hormones," says Salynn Boyles at WebMD, which can have a number of unfortunate side-effects, including blood clots, weight gain, and decreased sex drive. For those reasons, big drug companies have been hesitant to endorse any birth control pills for men. Researchers are excited about JQ1 because its sperm-inhibiting power is completely reversible: When the team stopped giving the pill to mice, "they became fertile again and fathered healthy mouse pups," says NBC News' Fox. How big of an advancement would a male birth control pill be? It could be huge. "Despite the availability of birth control for women and condoms for men, as many as 49 percent of births in the U.S. were unplanned in 2006, according to a 2011 study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention," says Shannon Pettypiece at Bloomberg. A pill could potentially help lower that rate. Were there any side effects? None that researchers could detect. The team will continue to test the compound in cancer trials while at the same time monitoring if the male patients become infertile. "We are probably not talking about something that is going to be available in the next two years or even five," says Dr. William Bremner, who wrote the accompanying commentary in Cell. "But this research represents a new biologic approach and it is certainly promising." Sources: Bloomberg, NBC News, io9, WebMD

What type of nipple are you?
jafo105 replied to jafo105's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I have always been fascinated by women's breasts and nipples in particular. They come in so many different shapes and sizes. No two women are exactly a like. -
Tonight will be pork chops, roasted potatoes, carrots, broccoli and coli-flower.

My mum (age 73) has cancer. She had a mastectomy in October and will be starting radiation treatment this week. Even though we have never been close, I am worried for her. I call her every week to see how she is doing and let her know that I do care.
