I love getting emails and pm's, I only give my number out as the final stage in my screening. That being said I don't like overly short or overly long intro emails, there should be a nice balance. I have a few clients I keep in pretty close contact with after the fact but I don't really like multiple emails before a session. I'd much rather get to know you face to face then over emails. I went to a Lutheran Boarding school. At that time I already wasn't Christian but I always enjoyed morning service. I loved seeing so many people united in their faith worshiping their higher power. I don't agree with Christianity but I don't have a problem with Christians. My school was quite strict but I enjoyed the structure, structure has always been something I have craved and desired. I had to cut my parents out of my life for quite awhile. I have only recently begun talking to them again. For me taking the higher road and not getting bogged down in their negativity helped me keep my sanity. There is a point in time if you have a bad relationship with your parents that you have to be the adult and let them explode by themselves. I am beginning to have the great relationship I always wanted to have with them but they have both admitted that it probably wouldn't have happened if I hadn't taken the higher ground. I love how on Sesame Street it teaches kids how to cough properly. One of the funniest things I have seen recently was a father and his son in line at a store. The father coughed in his hand and his son was like but dad you are supposed to cough like this (fake cough in the elbow) I loved it... But back to the thread at hand I recently got sick from a client, he didn't tell me until after that he got over a cold. I was not impressed and spent a few days in bed making sure I didn't infect the general population. Its only common sense to stay in if its possible and not to meet up if you are sick. Now for a semi serious answer. Have you talked to her about it? Does she not like the smell or taste? Maybe change up the diet a bit to be a little more of a culinary delight to her? Does she get bored? Maybe let her watch tv while its going on? Maybe make it an adventure like leave a trail of gummi bears through the house and then she finds you covered in whipcream and candy...
