  1. My first job was at a small town cafe when I was fifteen. It was ideal in that I only worked thursday nights and saturday day shifts during the school year. Those two shifts a week gave me just enough for beer and records and still allowed for plenty of time to goof off with friends. Unfortunately, come summertime it was a different story! Suddenly I was working full time hours and getting called in on my days off because the so called "adults" would either call in "sick" or just stop showing up to work all together. the turnover in that place was unreal, even by service industry standards! Job prospects were slim and management put up with me so I wound up staying there right up til I graduated high school and moved away.
  2. Ooh, fun! As a young child I was in the same boat as 2Legit who posted about wanting to be a garbage man. With some of the places and bosses I've formerly worked for in the restaurant biz I sometimes wonder if said places/bosses had the same dream and never quite grew out of it? Which is why I refer to them as being in the FORMER category As I grew older, and testosterone started to play a larger role, I decided I should be a professional wrestler. Seems my intelligence may have peaked as a pre-pubescent, at least I got hair in strange places out of the deal! As I have grown as an adult I have decided that I should not let my career or chosen profession define me as much as it has in the past. I doubt I'll stay in the same field, but it'll do for now
  3. Scotch and bacon wrapped pretty much anything. You're welcome ;)
  4. Well, I had just finished watching the movie Surf Nazis Must Die! for about the 20th time, and I figured not only would the handle be fun and silly, but also not yet taken ;)
  5. Music, Performing, Food These three things definitely get me out of bed in the morning :)
  6. Just got home from running errands, the pants are off, time to relax and enjoy a day off :)
  7. In no particular order: Charlottetown Downtown is beautiful, the people are friendly, you can learn a bit of history, plus the Churchill Arms has fantastic grub! Tofino, BC As a young adult, I had the opportunity to take surfing lessons there years ago. The hostel was beautiful and located right by the water, plus there was gorgeous scenery everywhere. This place holds many fond memories of a time when I got to adventure and explore more than I do now. Plus, y'know, surfing! :D Ottawa Plenty of sights, rad architecture and history, the market district, plus some family and old friends live out that way. It's also where a beautiful and patient lady gave a very nervous newcomer a kickass introduction to the world of companions :) Winnipeg I know, it's cold, it's rough around the edges, and it's in the middle of a floodplain that can make things dicey at times, but it's home. If you aren't happy where you live, why do you live there? A place I would love to visit is Quebec City, I have a feeling it would wind up on this list :)
  8. d00d! some of these gave me freaky beetlejuice flashbacks. I'm not sure if that's got me stoked, or in store for a sleepless night ;)
