He's a total dick about it, but I agree with some of the things he said. There's a large percentage of people under 30 who have totally been coddled. These people were never exposed to failure and as a person who is under the age of 30, and grew up knowing that life isn't fair and you have to WORK to get anywhere, these people irritate the hell out of me.

Dude, find yourself a young, tech savvy kid who will work for beer and pizza! Seriously, I have the good fortune of knowing such a kid and they rule! Not only did he build my computer (apparently you can save hundreds of dollars by ordering all the components online and rockin' some home assembly), but he's also saved it three times now after I too, have killed/irreparably damaged it and tried the standard dumb guy solution (see: hitting it, and cursing profusely). I'm willing to bet good money that a computer savvy acquaintance or co-worker could perform a fairly painless resurrection for you :)

We may all come from different walks of life, and as such, are going to have a variety of differing opinions, but that does not mean that we can't be respectful of each other and extend a certain level of goodwill and such. I highly doubt he was trying to offend people who do not celebrate Christmas, he was just trying to say we should be excellent to each other with his own perspective of things as a backdrop/example (the whole xmas spirit thing in this case). Dude, It sounds so cliched, but shit gets better! As a 20 year old you are still most definitely finding yourself in multiple ways. High school and all of the stigma and second guessing that accompanies it was not that long ago for you, and that crap tends to stick around in your head whether you want it to or not. However, that most certainly does not mean that sex has to suck. Like I said, things get better dude! There's a great big world full of lovely ladies out there! especially here on CERB. My first time was also a drunken, embarrassing mess which happened in my late teens. It's almost like a rite of passage to have the first time suck! We're brought up to believe either the ridiculous "Penthouse forum" cliche, or at the opposite end of the spectrum, the "True love, everything was perfect and just clicked" crap. Either way, first times are destined to not measure up! To me, virginity is more of a state of mind. Did I lose my virginity the first time I was inside a woman? NOPE. I lost it to a woman who penetrated me on a personal, human level. Virginity is whatever the fuck you decide it is, and everyone else can get lost! Yep, all of those "artists" definitely suck. Although being an aficionado of bands like DRI, Nuclear Assault and Cannibal Corpse doesn't exactly help me in the romance department either. For some reason a song like rotten body landslide just isn't conducive to a good make out session.... Go figure ;)
