  1. sorry folks, this just came to mind while reading this thread. Well, animals are a lot like people, Mrs. Simpson. Some of them act badly because they've had a hard life, or have been mistreated...but, like people, some of them are just jerks. Stop that, Mr. Simpson. But on a more serious note, really some people are just jerks, especially when they're driving. I seriously wonder what the hell is wrong with some people! Or when people are trying to get through a crowded room like at a bar or something. Generally I use words like sorry, and excuse me or pardon me a moment, as I try to navigate my way through. I can't believe how many times I've had people just try to shove their way past me without any acknowledgement that they're in my space. It just makes me think: trust me son, you don't want to put me in a mosh pit frame of mind, lol. I'm in my 20's and follow the rule of treat others as I would like to be treated. Seems simple enough.
  2. A nu-metal guilty pleasure Spineshank - Synthetic
  3. I suppose my first piercing started out as teenage rebellion but it kind of grew from there. It's weird, I hate doctor's needles but get a total rush from getting tattoo'd and pierced. It becomes kind of addictive. As well, every tattoo I have generally has a fun story or meaning behind it and i've found they can be great conversation starters. You can learn a lot about people from what they've chosen to permanently etch into their skin.
  4. I don't know, generally when the pizza rakes it's teeth up and down my shaft and head, it's not a pizza i'd like to experience again ;)
  5. I had the pleasure of spending time with Cleo while visiting Ottawa in early March. I'm not one for sharing details but, here goes with a few... Cleo was my first experience with a SP and boy am I ever glad I chose to see her! I was very nervous at the beginning of the appointment but her lovely smile, sense of humor and engaging personality eventually put me at ease. Not only is she easy to talk to, and fun to be around, she looks incredible as well! A very delicious combination of sweet, girl next door and crazy, fun rocker chick all rolled up into a sexy package! Seeing her was definitely a trip highlight and I still smile when I think about our time spent together. Gentlemen, do yourselves a favor and look this awesome lady up!
  6. I'm in agreement with most of the posters on this thread. It's really about time spent and appreciation shown to one of the people who brought you into this world and helped shape (for better or worse) you into the person you are. On a personal note, I'm generally always working on holidays (a double shift on mother's day comes to mind) so I never really get to share special events with family. This year I've decided not to let my job take advantage of me yet again. Yesterday I called my father out of the blue and told him that under no circumstances would I be working overtime on father's day and invited him to come to the city for a visit. I could sense his happiness and huge grin through the phone, sometimes the best gifts don't cost a thing! :D
  7. as much as that situation should not have happened, the thing i'm really wondering is what's your new tattoo of? :)
  8. Good job Shortcake! Please Accept this congratulatory high 5 from Strawberry Shortcake ;)
  9. HOly Crap that is frickin' hot! Although I may be slightly biased, what with having a few star wars tattoos myself ;) And I just had to respond to Castle's pic! Oh yeah, and congratulations whenever you decide to quit teasing Malika and Cleo and actually hit 1000 posts
  10. Tomorrow morning I fly off to Alberta for the weekend! Thank goodness for seat sales and old friends extending invitations. It sure beats the hell out of working all weekend! :D
  11. There's also Wawa in ontario. Not so much a goofy name, but there's a Starbuck, Manitoba
  12. Agree on the pizza! Either Domino's or Santa Lucia's for this guy Just about anything barbecued Beer (seems to always go hand in hand with comfort food anyway) KD Chef Boyardee, straight from the can. I will argue until my last breath that it tastes the same cold in the can as it does heated in a bowl! Too many steps involved dammit! Garlic bread when i'm at work
  13. Hell dude, give it a shot. At least meet the lady. Life's too damn short and you could miss out on something great. That being said though, your initial post gives me the sense that you're heart might not be entirely set on an encounter with this person. make sure going in that there are clear boundaries set so nobody gets hurt (by that I mean start on a friends level). In other words, have some harmless, innocent fun with somebody who has obviously struck a chord with you, and if something grows from it you're a lucky person. :)
  14. Wish granted! You are transformed into a piece of driftwood, continually washed on shore and thrown by random people for their dogs to chase after and slobber on. I wish Gas prices would go back under the $1.00 mark
  15. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? This being a favorite songs thread and all ;) Good Riddance - Eighteen seconds (First name ends in a "G", I don't like enough bands that start with a "Y" and i'm not posting another friggin' Youth Brigade song!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5O2tJXCpi2Q
  16. That is awesome! It reminds me that I have served as a groomsman on 3 separate occasions and each time it has been an amazing feeling just to be asked! Especially the last one, I have a cousin that I have not seen often over the years. Unfortunately one of his original groomsmen was sent to Iraq, and despite the fact that we haven't kept in touch as well as we would like and I hardly knew the bride's family, he asked me to stand up there and celebrate his big day with everybody :D
  17. We have never met, but best of luck in all your future endeavors!
  18. Holy crap that's hilarious Sara! reminds me of the old cell phone conversation in a toilet stall joke :) Whenever i'm driving I transfer my phone from my back pocket over to the spot in between my legs on the seat... Because, you know... it's easier to reach my phone from there when i'm driving... ;)
  19. Exodus - Architect of Pain (slowest Exodus song of all time) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISiCoebledM
  20. Suicidal Tendencies - Half way up my head (first name ends with an s) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAGjzBitOHo
  21. Sorry to hear so many people fail so grandly in regards to a lady who is clearly wonderful to be around and beautiful as well :( I hope you know they suck and there's a bunch of people out there who know you're great! :) I can't pretend to know what it's like for you ladies in this situation (having a non-traditional look/style that is) but as a person who tends to get gawked at as well, I find my actions and demeanor have gone a long way towards making people have second thoughts about judging a book by it's cover. Although there are times when it's fun to just tell an ignorant moron to get fucked. Fun stuff Additional Comments: Btw Sara, You madam, are both hilarious and diabolical!
  22. ouch! A similar one is having the airline lose your luggage! Nothing like having 2 books, an ipod, one set of socks/underwear and a megadeth shirt to your name while in an unfamiliar city...
