I was out at the Garage a couple of weeks ago and it's great :) MSP is still just a hole in the ground. They've cleaned up the debris, but not much else has been done.

I don't usually make a point of trolling the comments here, but really? Do you think the suit salesman expects to sell a suit to every guy who walks into his store? Do you think the car salesman expects everyone who comes into the car lot to drive off in an Escalade? Why is this any different? I've been to clubs on several occasions where I get approached and immediately asked to go to the CRs. When I've tactfully tried to say no, I get treated like I'm something floating in a toilet bowl. I'm sorry, but I do reserve the right to spend my own money as I choose. Respectfully, that doesn't make me a cheap ass, or any other kind of ass. It means I would prefer to spend my money as I see fit, not you. This thread is for advice on how to get a dancer's interest at the clubs, but I begin to wonder if there's need for a thread on how the dancers could get the client's interest.

I've been here myself. I have had a long-time business relationship with a dancer which became blurred when personal issues were raised with me. Once that happened, a lot of emotions came up.. anger at the blurring of the lines, anger at allowing the lines to be blurred, embarrassment at the anger, envy, jealousy, along with a real sense of loss at the end of a relationship, both business and personal. And a lot of regret. In the end, I don't think this is an issue of cheating or chemistry. It's humanity, and human emotions, and how complex they can be, and how they interact. If it were simple, this thread wouldn't be here. :)

I just hope the owner(s) have insurance and they can rebuild at the same speed they rebuilt the Den after the fire there. MSP was an experience unlike any in the Ottawa area. Much more cozy and intimate than big clubs like Pigs.

It isn't. I've only been to two clubs west of Ottawa. The one club in Vancouver that allows contact is $50 a song. The other was no-contact and I think they charged $200 per half hour in a private room.

My French is pretty bad and I've only occasionally had a girl sit down with me who spoke no English. I don't think you need to worry.

The last few times I've gone there's been a wonderful ebony lady who I believe went by the name Annabelle, very sensual. She used to work at one of the Ottawa-Gatineau clubs, though I can't remember whether it was the Den or Pigs. My mind was on the overall experience, not the particular details :)

AWESOME night at MSP tonight! Good crowd and absolutely smoking hot women. Well worth the drive!

I've been using Avast for a while now and I'm happy with it. It does suggest now and then that you should consider buying the full paid version, but it doesn't keep nagging at you regularly. I used Comodo for a time but I got more and more annoyed with it. The final straw was when it started screwing around in my video games and preventing some of them from working properly. You don't screw with my gaming.

No love for Jeff Beck? He was never as famous as his Yardbirds' fellow guitarists Clapton or Page, but he got to do his own thing and could afford to be more experimental.

It is still $10 per song. I had heard Le Garage tried switching to $20 songs but I think they were losing business to the other clubs and went back to $10. I forgot to mention that during busy time (i.e. after 8:00 on weekends) it costs $2 to get to the CRs. You just pay the bouncer.

I was just there last weekend, actually. Great small club, excellent quality of dancers. If only the drive wasn't so long. :(

So don't go if you're that repulsed by it. Simple problem, simple solution.

Same as at any of the Ottawa clubs. Don't expect the level of privacy you would get at Pigale or Taboo.
