When an SP (Service Provider: aka hooker, escort, etc) provides a third person recount of her/his services on a review board (i.e. www.xxxx.ca- link removed to respect Cerb's rules) under the context of it being from an actual customer's experience. A shill could look something like this. "Hi, my name's Bob and I'm a long time lurker first time poster. Despite previous negative reviews I saw Brandie and she fucked me rotten, I've never had such a good experience. I think everyone should see her and spend their hard earned money." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Personally, I would even go as far as saying that offering a free 'session(s)' or 'free anything' in exchange for a review/recommendation is pure shilling and shows a lack of integrity and professionalism on the SP's part. At the same time it takes away value from the real reviews/recommendations and cast doubt on the validity of it all. On a side note, the gentlemen who decide to engage in shilling for the SPs' (case scenario above) are not much better than the original deceiving and deplorable behavior and are not doing any favors to anyone but their selfish selves.

Not only that but some things are better left unsaid... To take one of Cristy's examples, I would never dare to tell my host that supper was aweful (no matter how carefully I chose my words) and would most likely just thank them for an interesting dining experience.

I have to agree with Mod on this one but also have to say that even though "cash is king" it is not always a feasible option for deposits and/or for gentlemen who prefer to pay in advance. Email transfers (to a discreet and non-SP-related email address) are a great way to deal with the above. It is also very convenient for both parties when a large amount is involved. Additional Comments: I just saw that mod added the email transfer as an option in his post... Hope my post doesn't sound repetitive.

I was stranded in Ottawa a few weeks ago (car trouble). Now I'm stranded in Halifax... My flight got canceled due to mechanical problems and the airline couldn't rebook me tonight. On top of spending 2 hours on the phone calling different numbers for the airline to rebook my flight for tomorrow, one of the agents I spoke to tried to argue with me that I was from Halifax therefore, they wouldn't cover my overnight accomodations and transport to and from the hotel... I don't remember the last time I was SO frustrated! Well, at least now I can say that I'm getting something for free; a free night at a chic hotel where the decor is so avant-garde (puky green walls, mustard colored drapes and a sofa with pink flowers all over it). I guess the best part will be the free breakfast and the shuttle service... The joys of traveling lol

MOD, when someone is proven to be a B&S/scam, do they really deserve the right to hide behind a 'do not review' list? I would hope not.

With all due respect, if you really take the time to research the Montreal scene, whether it be agencies and/or independents- there's SO much information out there- you will see that B&S and scams can easily be avoided. I don't know of any reputable agencies/independents who would participate in B&S! Thank you for insulting all companions who made the choice of becoming involved in this lifestyle by preference and not as a last resort because they 'couldn't make it' as a dancer or MA. Your comment is truly heart warming and shows much respect towards companions in general.

RG, I do understand what you are saying but I have to strongly disagree with parts (little ones ;)) of your post. My priority as companion is to try to keep myself as safe as possible and eliminate the potential bad dates from my agenda; if someone provides me with a board handle, it is MY responsability to verify the information (by sending that person a PM and asking for a confirmation reply) and to not pass on the blame onto the impersonator if it turns out to be a scam. This is why we call it a screening process. There is absolutely no point in asking for information (or someone giving it to you) if it is not somehow verified at some point before the encounter. I'm positive Cato and Pistol Pete would agree with me on this one... Same goes for references- a gentleman might provide me with a reference but if I don't contact the lady and he ends up being the most unpleasant date ever for xxx reason(s), who's to blame? Yes, I agree that a gentleman should act like a real gentleman but unfortunately, not everyone is one/acts like one. All I can say is that if I had done my due diligence in the first place by getting feedback from the lady, I would have declined his request and not gone through a less than desirable experience. Thankfully, most gentlemen involved in this lifestyle are just that- respectful and kind gentlemen who are just looking to spend quality time with a great lady. In the end, no one can change the behavior of others but we, as companions, can definitely (try to) avoid spending time with those who don't deserve our attention and/or try to use deceptive tactics to 'get' an appointment (false handles- false references).
