I think that the same might go for a client who is registered on one of the date verification sites. As a client, I like ladies who verify as it shows their commitment to providing a good quality encounter and it also shows the ladies that the gent in question is more likely to keep the date. Verification works for all of us, I wish more ladies would use it.

In the last couple of months I have had 10 encounters and contacted at least another 20 ladies in an attempt to set up an encounter. I always contact the lady in the method that she requests on her ad, voice, text, email or web form. I am always polite and respectful. A lot of the attempts at contact are unanswered phone calls or transferred to full voice mail boxes. Text messages are often not answered, as are emails. When I do get through to the lady in question, often the agreed upon time is ignored and the lady is late or not ready on my arrival or cancels at the last minute. Out of all these contacts and attempts at making contact only twice has the initial contact been answered in a timely manner, subsequent communications been painless and professional and the lady been ready on time when I show up. (Thank you Holland of Winnipeg and Emily Rushton for the professional attitudes you showed to our encounters.) Is it too much to ask that the ladies treat this as something serious and answer us when we try to contact them by their preferred method of contact? Is it too much to ask that the ladies keep their voice mailbox empty so that we can leave messages, as they ask on their ads? Is it too much to ask that the ladies answer text and emails in a timely manner? (If you only answer emails once a day, then say so on your ads. We can take this into account when contacting you.) Is it too much to ask that the ladies are ready on time as we agreed? I know that the ladies get a lot of rude and vulgar calls, blocked caller IDs as well as rude and vulgar texts and emails. I am not talking about this sort of contact; I am respectful and polite in the initial stages of contact as I am during the encounter. I also know that the ladies get a lot of no shows so they may be tempted to overbook to keep busy. Screening dates will go a long way to making sure that your dates are committed and will show up on time. I would be satisfied if a lady cannot see me at the time I ask for if she says sorry, already booked or something or she got the message too late. I am not happy being ignored. I have to travel about 90 minutes to get to the nearest city for an encounter, I am especially not happy if when I get there and phone for final directions that I get no answer and then told at the last minute cannot go ahead with the encounter. Ladies, care to respond?

SP's accepting credit cards?
manitoba replied to Angeltbay's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
If you have to send money for a deposit for a long booking and or travel, the post office still sells money orders. I do not think that you have to reveal true names to use these. You do however need a physical address to send them to, no problem for agency ladies but may be an issue for the independants. -
Any scotch drinkers out there?
manitoba replied to Kubrickfan's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Not much of a fan of the Islay malts, a little too smoky/peaty for my taste. I like almost any other single malt though. For the blends JW Gold is IMHO a much nicer drink than Blue at 40% of the price. Remember that Scotch should be poured and let breathe a little in the glass before drinking, the taste does change over the first few minutes after pouring the drink. This is a common mistake for first time Scotch drinkers and they end up not liking and appreciating it as much because of it. Fine Scotches like fine ladies should be enjoyed slowly. -

Is there a list of the ads so we gents can have a look at the ads? -
Unless you are using private browsing mode or have auto complete turned off it will return. You have three options, private browsing mode, turn off autocomplete or delete the user name each time you use the computer

Self Care/ Stress Relief
manitoba replied to Alexandra-Sky's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
The thing about stress is that everyone has their own personal levels of desired stress. Stress levels that make some people quivering piles of jelly are boring to others. Personally I like a high level of stress and can handle it quite easily. I handle stress by overcoming the stressors and being successful in my projects despite them. -
Dubai is where most of my experience is. The laws there are very strict and not always enforced. I would think that there would be some bribes to be paid either cash or in services to be able to operate. The laws are always against the woman there. If caught the guy will only get a warning but the lady will most likely do some jail time. With the cultural differences in attitudes there expect a lot more bad dates than here. You will have no recourse to complain to police and quite simply a lot of the men in that part of the world see all women as property, especially one that they paid for a period of time. Dubai used to be a very expensive place to live but with the economic downturn it is a lot cheaper, but of course so are the business opportunities. Canadians also need visas to get into Dubai now and these are about $1000 for a 6 month visa. ( I paid 400 Durham, just over $100 simply to pass through last month.) OTOH a busty Caucasian woman can charge out at $700 to $1,000 an hour.

Being prepared does not mean doing a lot of different stuff than you would do anyway, especially if you like the outdoors and camping. We keep the cars at least half full of gas, we keep additional propane for the BBQ, we keep a supply of foodstuffs, especially dry and non-perishable stuff (Costco to save money anyway), we keep the camping gear ready for use ( stove, lantern, sleeping bags etc.) None of this costs any additional money. I have a portable generator for work anyway and the only additional expense that I have undertaken is to rewire a subpanel for the important circuits to allow for a quick connection if the power goes off for any period of time. This was not much of an expense as I did my own wiring, just about $50 for the quick connect plugs. It also allows anyone to hook up my house to the generator quickly of the power goes out when I am away. I also have always had a go bag ready. I started it when I was in the boy scouts and have always kept it current. It is in the car and contains essential gear for the season. For example in the winter I am usually ready to winter camp overnight if necessary.

You can also use lower resolution images. That way if they are copied they will not look good if blown up in size.

Why would someone see one lady to complain about another lady? To me a recommendation is just that, it should be yes I had a good time and would return. The only recommendations that I have posted here was just that, with a brief comment about the discussions and scheduling leading up to the encounter. I always find the self-serving ones where the guy is bragging about coming 42 times in an hour in every possible position kind a funny anyway.

Medical Clinic Complaint?
manitoba replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I do not think that a doctor can just drop you as a patient. There was a case a few years ago in Winnipeg where a doctor was going to drop all patients who smoked. He gave a couple years notice and offered help in quitting but there was still an uproar about it. Of course your doctor can still agree to see you, what time next year is good for you? -
Gents' Political Opinion Poll
manitoba replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I live in a rural Manitoba riding where the PC candidate will get at least 70% of the vote. This is one place where the proverbial yellow dog would win with a PC nomination. I always vote Green simply because it sends a message that not everyone here loves the PC party and it will help get green (small g) policies on the platforms of the major parties once they see that Green has support. -
Screening recommendations
manitoba replied to manitoba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
At least a really bad reference on a web site would save you some time. If the site said stay away from this guy then you would never bother another SP asking for a reference. BTW I am talking about a client who is simply rude, cheap or smelly not someone who is potentially dangerous, these guys should be on a black list somewhere. -
Had one of my most enjoyable sessions ever with any provider with Holland a couple days ago. She was very accommodating, had no problem wearing what I asked her to wear for our initial greeting. We had a little scheduling problem finding time that worked for both but no real issue, just we were already scheduled. She was responsive to text meggages and emails throughout the scheduling process. Will see her again.

Do Not Share Computers with other CERB members!!
manitoba replied to mod's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I use a proxy server for all my hobby postings. This keeps the information of where I have surfed and emailed off the local router. The downside is that my IP address would be the same for anyone else using the same proxy server. Will this be a problem if someone else uses the same proxy server? I think that you wouold get the same problem if people logged in through the same internet connection.
