This is a very good thread to read when your new to the Halifax area. I live downtown Halifax,and have not had any problems,however I am in a security locked/camera equipped building. I do notice a lot of homeless,and not so pleasant people hanging around though.I too have heard spry field is a bad neighborhood. Is Clayton park not such a good place to reside? I have a couple acquaintances that live in that area and it seems to be very nice but I haven't the slightest clue lol.

I too would agree Katherine is the "top dog" in Halifax,and heard magnificent/extraordinary things regarding her. If your coming from Toronto then Saint John,does not have any comparison,however keep in mind Saint John is a very small town everyone knows everyone. Therefore there are not too many SP's in the area,or strip clubs.
