  2. Thanks everyone. :) I am humbled by not just the quantity but the continuous quality content of all your postings. I have learned so much from them and you... Thanks again.
  3. I don't notice a lot of the SPs responding with the exception of Angela so I thought I'd let you know what I do. If you don't have a cell phone, I would like you to call me from your home phone (not blocked). Understand that I am not going to call you unless requested to do so. If you need 45 minutes to get to my incall location then I would have you call at that time (or before) and would provide you with my room number then. I am sure other Service Providers would do exactly the same. The suggestion to buy a disposable phone is a good idea though.
  4. Wow, Pete. That is a helluva lot of posts. Mind blowing really. Congrats to you. =)
  5. Happy Birthday Miss Athana. Enjoy your day =)
  6. Happy Birthday, Tiffany! Hope you enjoy your day =) Satin
  7. Going shopping and forgetting the 'green' bags at home so end up paying 5 cents a bag. The outdoor water ban in Riverside South, Barrhaven and Manotick The traffic problems caused by the work to fix the water problems that are causing the outdoor water ban in the firsplace. Hydro bills
  8. Some the real blues gems are not the headliners obviously. Last year on Saturday morning I watched Bjorn Berge from Norway (I believe). Amazing blues guitar... I agree the variety of types of music keeps it interesting and of course is there anything more subjective than music? I want to see Huey Lewis, Cheap Trick, Joe Satriani, Steve Miller, John Butler, A Perfect Circle and a bunch more. Let's hope they get weather like they had last year as well. Folk festival should be interesting this year as well as they are now part of the Bluesfest family.
  9. Nikky and Angela -- Thank you so much for the invite and for all your hard work putting the social together. Gents, it was nice meeting those of you who I got a chance to talk to. =) Ladies, as this was my first social it was also nice meeting you as well! I look forward to the next event.
  10. No kidding. Like, would you mind explaining how Osama could be holed up in a mansion/fortress a couple of hundred metres away from a Pakistani military officer's training facility? Um, yeah. They had no idea he was there.... Riiiiiight.
  11. Since I am new, I am of course nervous when meeting someone for the first time. As Jade mentioned above, I am concerned about them showing up, but beyond that I want to make sure that I am wearing what they have requested. Am I what he is looking for and will I satisfy his desires. I think these are very normal thoughts. Further to that, since I have met men that I have either chatted with here on Cerb or have exchanged e-mails with, I always want to make sure that I try surpass expectations. Under-promise and then over-deliver and with that comes nervousness. I'm not sure if these feelings will pass in time, but I would like to think a certain amount of apprehension and anticipation is good for the experience and can add to the excitement. That moment before the knock on the door or just before the first kiss! Satin
  12. You are correct and it seem no matter which party gets in there are always cries of one thing or another. Be it demands for proportional representation, or some other election reform. To those who are upset that the Cons have a majority, then first, I hoped you voted then I hope you realize in the end this IS our system. I too feel we will likely see a more middle-of-the-road Conservative government. To quote Harper's comments, "Voters don't like surprises". So hopefully we'll see the end of the very flawed long-gun registry and maybe even some attempt a senate reform, because we should all believe that is necessary. I don't believe you'll see the end of universal health care, because as late as tonight I heard Harper state that is something "we all believe in". In the end, only time will tell. In four years or so, probably around October of 2015, we'll get an opportunity to do this all over again.
  13. Thanks for that. I like that suggestion and will try that next time to see if it makes a difference.
  14. You are exactly right, and hence the reason I said no without hesitation. Only one of them suggested a lower price although I could see that negotiation happening as well if I had said yes.
  15. Excuse me if this has been covered in a previous thread, but I had to bring the subject up. As many of you know, I am not only new to CERB but new to being a Service Provider as well. Last week I did my first time providing incalls at a local hotel. During my stay I must have had 3 or 4 requests for 'car dates' which of course I did not do. I could not for the life me figure out why, when I had a wonderful suite, would the guys want to meet in a car? I might understand why, on night when I am providing outcall only, that they might consider this an option (although I don't). But when I have a place to visit? Maybe you could shed some light on the appeal of this? Not that it will ever change my mind about it :)
  16. Yes, Trails does that I believe. Check it out: http://trails.lamouroux.de/faq.html Great little GPS app for iPhone. Satin
  17. Ok, I admit it. I watched and Kate's dress was amazing! It's a fairytale for sure.
  18. Reo Speedwagon - Can't Fight This Feeling
  19. It seems that downtown is very well covered and as already pointed out there are other areas that could use more coverage. I prefer to do my incalls downtown as it is still central and I love the city lights at night. Seems to add to the mood and sophistication but that is just me :)
  20. Happy Birthday, Cleo. Hope your day is awesome!
  21. I hate to have garbage in the house overnight. In the outside trash it goes before bed. I have to shower before I go to bed and first thing in the morning. I check doors twice to make sure they are locked (and I laugh at myself for that one) When using a public washroom I dispense the paper towel first, then start the water and wash my hands. Once, clean and my hands dry, I use the paper towel to turn off the tap and open the bathroom door before tossing the paper towel in the garbage. :P
