Immitation of life by rem. "That sugar cane that tasted good ... That's Hollywood... " Took too long to write that.... Now listening to The future by Leonard Cohen.

Nothing really today... life is good... except I spent so much last week, I can't see a lady for a few weeks... But oh it was so so so worth it.

I've had many highlights lately. Last week I helped my favourite lady celebrate her birthday... she loved her gift (a little sculpture I made of different decorative stones called.. The Wall... that captured the essence of many of her favourite things)... and yesterday's highlight was that she sent me picture of the sculpture in her home with a Pink Floyd poster in the back ground.

a diamond blade tile saw... I'm using it to cut pretty rocks open to reveal their beauty inside.

thinking of making a pizza for tonight... I make the best pizzas... in my humble opinion (2 out of 3 of my kids agree).

Name a song/music that can best describe your session
nntsci replied to casey's topic in Fun Threads
for some reason this song came to me as a depiction of a struggle against the problems of life... We can be heroes... just for one day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3SjCzA71eM -
"As Lily said, if an SP tells you she is going into retirement but will still see you, consider that a compliment." I had that experience... a lady retired but continued to see me occasionally for almost 2 years... I was her last client... we were friends. She finally had to say goodbye because she was involved with someone... so we had one last session. She was so out of practice she had forgotten the condoms so I had to wait in her home while she rushed to the store. Also was ticklish... it was hilarious... I gave her a parting gift. We texted each other Merry Christmas last December.

Yesterday: A lovely evening spend with a lovely woman... the only problem was I got a nose bleed half way through our time together... I sometimes get nose bleeds in the winter, especially on cold and windy days... like yesterday... that would qualify as things that suck and not in a good way... 20 minutes wasted waiting for the nose to stop bleeding... so it didn't turn out quite as well as I had thought it would... but she got to play nurse for a little while bringing me tissues etc... and we had a good time together anyway...

Had a conflict with someone special a couple weeks ago and she stopped answering my messages and it sounded like our relationship was over... She contacted me yesterday and said lets start over... Still don't know what happened, but then I'm usually in the dark when it comes to women anyway. Just glad to hear from her again.

Nothing, except the sound of my computer fans, humming quietly.

a medium coffee refill at Tim Hortons... refilled into my travel mug... so no roll up the rim... actually they have offered me an empty cup, but I figure the whole point of refillable mug is to avoid trash... so I turned down the pro-offered cup... still it was a good customer service to offer.

After some frustration last week and on the weekend, I decided to treat myself to a little escape... She goes by the name of Kim from the Garden of Eden... lovely lady... she just changed her hair form all black to blond streaks so I had to see the new hairdo in person. She loves it when I run my hand through her hair.

I bit my tongue today... a big gash in the top I think... doesn't hurt much, but feels weird.... flopping skin. In other news I'm having a falling out with a friend... it doesn't look good and her approach to anger is silence.... which really annoys me...

I had a big disappointment a few weeks ago (of a very different nature). She made up for it the next week and I actually think I know what happened.

I'm waiting for an email from a friend. I haven't heard from her for a while. I'm a bit worried because in the past when I haven't heard from her for a while, it turned out she was in hospital... I'm sure that's not the case, but...

I haven't written much poetry myself, but I have recited poems to a special lady I recited to her parts of The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock Related Poem Content Details By T. S. Eliot Do I dare Disturb the universe? In a minute there is time For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse. For I have known them all already, known them all: Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons, I have measured out my life with coffee spoons; . /..... that last line got the expected laugh. and I skipped to I grow old ... I grow old ... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled. Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach? I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach. I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think that they will sing to me. I have seen them riding seaward on the waves Combing the white hair of the waves blown back When the wind blows the water white and black. We have lingered in the chambers of the sea By sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown Till human voices wake us, and we drown. Additional Comments: This is the first poem I've written in years. Momentarily free of the obligation to smile, please or look pretty, she stares into the distance through me, past me. Not happy or sad, but stares, contemplating perhaps something from her past or perhaps another world. I stare into her deep dark eyes I hope to glimpse what haunts her. But those windows reveal nothing to me.

I always place the donation in an unmarked unsealed envelope on the bedside table where she has her stuff... (purse, condoms, cell phone, or whatever)... a couple times I've place the envelop on the bed, but one girl didn't like that. Either way I never give it to her directly, but put it where she can see it... I give her the envelope either before my shower or immediately after. The gal I see currently regularly I've seen so often she never looks at it (she trusts me). I also try to be a little early so that I can relax a little before I call her. I find something discrete to do near the location (not right at the door). Typically I find a nearby store and take my time buying breathe mints or gum until the appointed time... I never call right at the door, because I don't want to draw attention to either of us. So I'm usually call from a couple doors down or across the street (depending on where it is). I've only even done a no show once and that was because there was a police car in front of the condo entrance, and in that case I sent an apology as soon as I could (about 15 minutes later). I've had to cancel appointments three times (in 8 years) due to having a cold, but gave the lady in question advanced notice of more then a day (in two cases because I had to change my hotel reservation as well). Additional Comments: Considering what the gals are doing for us, they're really not charging that much... If they work for an escort agency they give half to the agency (for booking, accommodation, advertising, transportation etc.), if they are independent they have to take care of all those cost themselves which takes time and money. A hotel can run anywhere from $100 to $200 a night (that's what I pay when I meet my favourite lady); cheaper places are available, but yuck. Given the preparation time, transportation time, advertising costs, and also the potential danger, the gal isn't really making all that much. For the most part its a bargain at the prices they charge. As for not being able to eat, no, but the gal I see the most did run into financial difficulty last year when she was injured in a traffic accident and couldn't work for a while.
