I use http://www.unblock-us.com/ It's $5/month and lets you access all of the U.S. websites (Comedy Central, NBC.com, etc) as well as Hulu/Netflix/Amazon. The best part is you can actually choose which country's Netflix you want to use. Tired of what Netflix U.S. has to offer? Switch it to Netflix UK or Netflix Finland and get a whole new batch of movies! It also lets you continue to use CBC.ca and other Canadian websites so you don't have to keep changing your DNS settings.

Truffles are amazing. They have a sort of earthy-mushroomy flavour and can really compliment the right dish (pasta with a cream sauce, for example). Don't ever buy truffle oil and think it's the same thing though. It's just chemicals that taste sort of like truffles.

I remember one time at Ottawa's H.O.P.E. Beach Volleyball watching some guy go from Porta-Potty to Porta-Potty with a giant hose, suctioning all of them out. It was in the middle of summer and totally hot out too. Poor guy!

I once dated a girl with braces, not realizing that I was pretty much only attracted to her because of the braces. After about a month, she had them taken off and we broke up shortly thereafter. Obviously I found the braces to be attractive, and apparently I'm a bit of a jerk.
