  2. I'd rather lick Rob fords nuts:) would ya rather shovel more snow or shovel manure?
  3. I appreciate the responses. I've just come to the point where I've felt that I'm giving something away exposing any nudity so I've decided to remain lingerie clad from here on in. We all have our comfort levels and they are to be respected. I've always felt my pics were an accurate representation of me, as many have attested, no photoshopping. Grainy, yes, but I'm grainy looking in person, lol. Seriously though I hope the lack of nudity won't sway some as I, like any woman, are more than a big pair of boobies:)
  4. I don't think this needs deleting, if it's different or even similar, restarting a new one shouldn't be an issue. I'm always perplexed as to why someone cares that there is another thread. New is good, even if it's the same topic, unless there are rules against this that I'm not aware of? Would you rather..... post on an old thread or start a new one;)
  5. You may be right and you make a good point, especially your last one, lol, very eloquent, thank you. But perhaps the concern for some is that all the terrorism committed by Muslims has been made in the name of Allah. So, many see it as a religious rebellion and fight, not political. Funny that you mention Ireland, as it has the fastest growing Muslim population next to Canada so there may be further conflict in Irelands future. Perhaps part of the fear mongering towards Muslins and Islam is because Islam is the fastest growing religion, many believe it will surpass Christianity, and perhaps take it over. That scares many, hence, fear mongering, then you get radicalization, hence, radicals.
  6. Just curious to the thoughts of some on nudes (topless) photos. I've removed all of mine. But I'm curious, are you more likely to see, or are you more intrigued by someone with exposed photos, or is leaving something to the imagination more provocative?
  7. Lol, I fell asleep through most of it, but did get to see the beginning and a few other bits and pieces. What I saw was boring, though some of the speeches were touching, as was Lady Gaga's performance. Sadly I missed john legend and Commons song. Over all it was predictable but was still fun seeing all the glamor.
  8. You are right and I think we all should prosecute offenders. But the sad reality is the victim is the one that suffers most, has to prove their innocence, hire the lawyer and give of their time, energy and a whole lot of money. No winners when it comes to civil litigation other than the lawyers, been there done that. Sadly some offenders know this. However sometimes a good outcome can be had, so certainly something to consider.
  9. Thank you Emily and you are right I would feel the same and perhaps even more angry. But I don't have a horse in this race and can only read whats been posted so I have to accept whats been said by both of you. As I said, I think theft of anything is wrong and so is insincerity. If you are right then I am so very sorry for what you've gone through, truly and hopefully her conscience will cause her to rectify the situation at hand. If she is likewise, either way its a sad situation. This business is hard enough without having to deal with this type of thing.
  10. I'm not sure if Emily's blog is private or readable by all? If it is private then how would Alex have known about it's post and isn't there a modicum of a chance that she contacted her website co to have it removed at the same time Emily did, or there abouts and after seeing it removed believed it was removed because of her personal requests? Siding with a friend is great but siding with someone because they are a friend isn't. I think they both are victims. The issue appears to be resolved and I hope there are no lasting repercussions for either. Rg-the apology was sent in a private email, so why couldn't she have replied privately, even though Alex posted publically that doesn't justify a retort, but that's just my opinion . Anything should be excusable when given a satisfactory explanation. Alex explained and apologized, not to the satisfactory of you or Emily, but apologized none the less, what more should be done? Should she be kicked out of the business and off this site? It's been made public I'm sure that will bring about consequence, but forgiveness should be allotted, sorry. We all do wrong from time to time, and even though I realize the seriousness of this and the headaches and heartache this must have caused Emily I'm still a believer that forgiveness should be given.
  11. If neither one of you like drama then why publicly post anything. I goolged Alex's name and I didn't see anything bad or nefarious, other than an idiotic comment from someone stating that an older sp shouldn't command a high rate. It appears that Alex has many followers, As does Emily. None of us who haven't seen any of the emails know what has been said, and those who follow each will believe and support that side. The rest of us have to accept what's been said and she's apologizing publically which takes guts, it doesn't appear to me an effort to gain sympathy. So perhaps it should be left at that. It's awful to have your work stolen, it's happened to a lot of us and many haven't received apologies of any kind.
  12. Hi, sorry your having trouble heres a link I hope helps http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_howtoplaceanad At the top of the page under the Lyla logo you'll see a list of options user cp, chat room, rules& FAQ-click on that one(rules & FAQ) for more "newbie" info, if you'd like anything more feel free to pm me, or just read through the new to you section. There is a lot to read but it is important to do so and don't worry it can seem a little difficult and over whelming at the beginning but you'll catch on, it just takes time. Welcome and enjoy:)
  13. I'm embarrassed to say I wasn't aware of the historical inaccuracies of Selma:(, thank you for that info. I wonder why they'd make such an important film without proper facts. Any how, it still was a good movie, but you are right because of that, it shouldn't win. However, I guess I have missed the mark with Birdman, I just don't see it's fabulousity, lol and maybe because I'm not a Keaton fan. I agree Clint certainly has put out some great movies and should be awarded for doing so. I guess Sunday will be telling-enjoy the Oscars:)
  14. I was binge watching that the last storm, what a great series, all the characters and their bios, so interesting, keeps you watching.
  15. Hoping for the best for her and you. Such a simple procedure shouldn't lead to complications, be with her and hold her as much as you can, and pray, that's all you can do.
  16. On my down time I like to watch tv, so a movie that is hyped, and hyped, like 50 shades, only makes me dislike it, as do the gimmicks. However if the trailer is good, I might be tempted to see it. I'm a woman, moody;) , so my mood plays into it my decision making as well:)
  17. No matter the laws, economy, etc, there will always be gentlemen looking for companions, especially someone new. Yes things have changed, the key is to change with them. Follow the rules/laws, advertise well/often, present yourself in your most comfortable style, by that I mean find "you" know what type of clientele you'd like and market to them, in your own special way and as the law permits. Don't follow others styles, being true to yourself is always best. When business is good put away a nest egg, as this business is as up and down as a rollercoaster. Last but not least, enjoy those you meet, most of us are intuitive and can tell when we are wanted/liked, return clients are what keeps us going and imho, they are better than any reco's. I hope I've helped:) Any other questions, please feel free to pm:)
  18. I think this will stop many of us who are willing to give glimpses of our faces, to give a potential client an idea of our facial appearance, yet not enough to be recognized in public. From posting any type of neck up pictures. Any advances are great, but as was said, with the good always comes some bad.
  19. Well, you'd have to be in Halifax to receive it;)
  20. Anyone want to make predictions as to who'll win? Do you have a favorite movie you think deserves best picture? Lets talk Oscars:) http://oscar.go.com/nominees I've only seen three of the best picture nominees- Birdman Selma Grand Budapest hotel I'm hoping Selma wins
  21. I'm sorry I have no resolve for you but maybe peace of mind? As this similar thing has happened to me, although not to my Iphone but on my business # which is a land line. When I go out I forward that number to my I phone and once my number called my phone. My forwarded number called my phone! It showed up on my caller id as any other number would, the phone company was as perplexed as I was so to this day I still don't know how this happened. Hopefully you can find out why, all the best.
  22. Watched Nightcrawler last night and would reco if you like dark movies. Main Character (Jake Gylenhal-probably misspelled-sorry) is very disturbing but the story was good, imo. Additional Comments: HI:) I found it typical, you knew what was going to happen. If you've nothing else to watch then I'd say kill some time, but there are far better thrillers, Nightcrawler as I just posted, is one.
  23. Vet services. Someone should soon be able to buy a new car, lol! Additional Comments: Ohh, you son of a gun, I'm trying to cut back and seeing this has just made me even hungrier, lol !!
