  1. In 100% agreement. As far as private profiles I still think it's rude to visit someone's page and then not allow them to visit yours. This happens to often for me:( and even after sending a pm to the "private" I get no reply. This leads me to believe that there is more to their visit than just a visit, or why else wouldn't they want me to know anything about them? Common courtesy goes along way and so does discretion but if you don't want me to know you that's fine but then you shouldn't have any reason to want to know anything about me. As far as men not looking at sites, it happens a lot, and I can't explain why. It is frustrating at times because even when I clearly print in an ad FIRST please read through my site before calling I'll get lots of guys calling and none have read my site, lol, laugh, what else can you do?
  2. My friend warned me about nutella so I haven't tried it, apparently it's divine:) As far as after 3 days without sugar, They all say that you'll stop craving it but it doesn't work for me. Could I be so pickled in it that I need more time? The longest I've gone was a week but then when I started again because I couldn't resist the urge I just started eating even more:( I think my sugar battle is hopeless and genetic. On my dads side everyone eats candy and more candy, cake and pie, cookies and fudge, ice-cream and so on and so on. Maybe I'm doomed to a sugar hell:(
  3. Welcome to cerb, may you find it informative, friendly and lots of fun. Enjoy:)
  4. Welcome to cerb and post away. I hope you enjoy your time here and the site lives up toy your expectations:)
  5. Lilly your post is absolutely beautiful, humbling and so on point-thank you:)
  6. Yes that darn sugar as Jafo said it's in everything . Sorry no suggestions but I'd like to know as well:)
  7. I know! The food network is like porn now, lol, love watching it:) On another channel there is another show called eat street that is a lot of fun, it usually follows stories about popular food trucks in different cities, usually American and the food always looks soooo good! Thanks for your comment
  8. Do you live to eat or eat to live? If you eat to live what motivates you to stay on a healthy path?Waht are your go to foods? If you live to eat, why and what is your weakness? I believe I do both, but more of live to eat. I'm still a sugar addict, had half a dozen powdered donuts for breakfast, small ones! On my gym days I have a healthy shake for breakfast and a light lunch with a healthy dinner, but my late night snacking, chips, popcorn, ice-cream is still a problem:( I mean junk food feels good and I love feeling good:)
  9. If you could change something about your appearance would you? Yes we're all beautiful and we should love what we have been blessed with, but if you could, what would you improve? I'd like to have a permanent tan, as a blonde with a European heritage I freckle:( so the sun is not my friend and self tanners are to high maintenance. Bigger boobs, of course, even bigger, never to much boobage imo:) Chicklet teeth:) I love teeth that are so white and perfect they are almost blinding and yes they look artificial. My dentist always shakes his head when he sees me as I'm always asking him for them, but he won't relent. He feels my teeth are white enough and how they should be:(
  10. I know:) the gym I go to has wonderful staff and customers. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I'm wondering why I didn't do this long ago, although I'm eating even more I'm starting to notice more tone in my body. Enjoy meg:)
  11. Blown away that is. It's going to be a big storm so most are saying so be prepared:) Get your groceries, see your favorite girl, or just sit back and watch. What ever you need to get done it might be best to do it today, stay safe and warm:) http://metronews.ca/news/halifax/981813/storm-headed-for-halifax-on-wednesday-now-considered-a-weather-bomb/
  12. Thanks Asdr for your observation and opinion, you're entitled to it as is anyone else who comments here, as long as it's respectful:) We all see and read things in our own ways and those different ways should be appreciated and respected . I think everywhere, including here there is going to be some occasional sucking up, but that's to be expected when men and women entwine to discuss a myriad of topics and I'd agree that's it's not uncommon for some to show their thanks simply because they like the op not necessarily the opinion, kind of human nature. Laugh about it don't let it bother you:) The thing to remember when posting something here is, you're going to get those who'll side with an opinion and those that won't, those who are friends and stick together, those who are unbiased and those who are on the fence. If you see some you think that follow a trend of thanking for what you consider the wrong reasons perhaps it's best that you just ignore their posts. So long as they're aren't breaking any rules there is little else you can do. Follow those you feel are your style or to whom you feel respect, ignore those that bother you and you'll enjoy the site much more:) Thanks for the thread:)
  13. The sunshine:) having a great workout invited to dinner by a sexy client:)
  14. Thanks Jafo105 for the thoughtful thread:) I've been volunteering for quite sometime now, different animal charities. If I can't give my time I give my money, one or the other or both. But since my dogs surgery and for my personal well being, I had to cut back. I've been spending some time visiting an aged home lately. But both these things take a toll. Today the senior I was sitting with started crying because she was tired of just sitting in her room. When it gets warmer I'll take her out, but she's quite frail, it was so sad. Situations like that and seeing dogs penned up wanting out, coming in from bad situations has drained me. Life is so good for some and so sad for others. I guess volunteering is good but for me right now, I can only do it here and there. We all should try though, a little is better than none. Sadly as it's been said giving blood is off the list and to my understanding so is organ donation.
  15. Just saw the Monuments men, very very good. The French guy is hot, loved Bill Murray and all the other actors:)
  16. There should be no backlash, you are asking a legitimate question and stating an experience. My answer-When we are with you we are your friend and lover, you are paying us to be, sorry to be blunt, but that's the way it is and when we leave it's done-you are paying for that as well:) But I do think it's only polite to respond to a pm, especially a quick hi, hello or nice to hear from you, etc. I respond to all my pm's, even phone conversations from past clients and send out greetings on holidays, although my friend list has grown so much sometimes I'll make a post to wish all happy holidays, etc:) Sometimes expecting someone to chat may be to much for some though. Imagine if every client we saw wanted to have a conversation? I feel bad that you're feeling blown off, none of us should want a one time or repeat client to have those feelings. Perhaps there were or are unknown reasons for the no replies, or short ones, since I don't know anything about your exchanges I can't make an opinion. You shouldn't take it personally though, hugs:) Something I've learned-never expect anything from anyone and you'll never be disappointed:) but always stay true to yourself. If it makes you feel better to reach out to someone then do so, just don't be disappointed with their response, that's on them:)
  17. Oh you are so right about the car being just a car:) I try daily to convince myself that but in Dec alone I spent shy of 1000$ just to have scratches removed. Black cars are a curse, especially for those of us who are a bit ocd about them looking shiny and scratch free. So many things are far more important but one of my downfalls is needing to have what I own always looking new:( Thanks for the exemption though, lol:)
  18. As Rg said if the pm was sent from here you should report it to mod and as Rebecca said -we all go through this stupidity, it's not worth questioning. I have a "secret admirer" that likes to malign my looks from time to time, and has spent an enormous amount of time trying to prove me to be opprobrious, lol . Girls like that and that make fun of or joke about looks are jealous, plain and simple, guys that make rude remarks are also jealous or pissed because they can't have you. Know your worth, people can only get to you if you let them. Ignore it if it happens again, it's just not worth worrying or caring about. Karma always takes care of these idiots anyway! My admirer has been hit by karma time and time again, lol!
  19. Sad:( What would I have done? Well, I would have politely asked to speak to the mother away from her kids and then repeat her words. I would have told her if she didn't behave I'd follow her home and throw her against her walls. Probably not the right thing but nothing will set me off more than adults who are abusive to children or animals. There is never a justifiable reason to be verbally or physically abusive to children, never. I'm sorry your so experienced such sadness, in her life and that day. Hugs to her:)
  20. First-thank you for being kind enough to feed them, a lot wouldn't. It's not just happening on you farm, sadly, it's happening to many. I just wish those who did this could be caught, but even if they were the laws are still to lax to make any difference, imo. I don't have a solution, sorry, but if I did come upon someone doing this you'd hear about it in the news because I'd be shooting them! I hate those who think animals are disposable and think that someone else should care for their throw aways.
  21. I think this is more annoyance than hatred:) But I must confess, I'm one of those who does what you speak of. I tend to park where no one can park beside, in front of or in back of me now. Because-I drive a nice car, it's black and I've spent a small fortune having scratches and dents repaired because of careless and dishonest people. So I guess my gripe would be those who whack car doors with theirs and don't bother to take responsibility:(
  22. I'm sorry your day wasn't the best. You are right though, there are better days ahead and I wish you many. It's a great thread and a shame more didn't contribute.
  23. Thanks RG. But to your post-yes and no. The problem is how does anyone regulate and determine who is reputable and who isn't? Also, those who get dogs from reputable breeders are sometimes those who start puppy mills or become irresponsible breeders. Unless a particular breeder has a non-breeding agreement and strongly enforces it, breeders, reputable ones, then too become part of the problem. It's not often discussed but sometimes "reputable" breeders place their "left over" dogs in shelters . Not every good breeder can find a good home for their pups so.... If a person just wants a pet dog perhaps it's time, because of the HUGE amounts of high kill shelters and HUGE amounts of GOOD dogs being KILLED just because of lack of space, we put aside our desire to have a particular breed and just adopt the dog that's right for you . -There are rescue groups also for every pure breed trying to rehome their dogs as well. -There are arguments to justify both sides I suppose but why even if you are responsible would you want to bring in more dogs when their are thousands, upon thousands needing homes ? thanks for your response:)
  24. Thank you for your response but your post may make some feel all shelter dogs are mutts. So I thought I should respond. In fact many dogs that enter shelters, through no fault of their own, are pure breeds. But realistically with any dog you are taking "a chance". Yes some dogs/breeds have specific traits- ex: herding abilities, higher exercise needs, some breeds need a job. But make no mistake behaviors are not breed specific. Dogs are dogs. Yes there can be exceptions many times as well. Bull dogs for example-the old English, have a tendency to be low energy. But I've met a few you wouldn't be able to keep up with. When taking home any dog you have to educate yourself about dogs and spend some time with it before you decide to keep it. Shelter dogs especially, come in with little info about their pasts so to know how they'll act and react takes time. However they will allow frequent visits for you to walk and spend time with your chosen one. When choosing a puppy from a reputable breeder, though you know I'd prefer adoption, that breeder should know the pups and be able to help you select the one best for you. As far as mixed/mutt breeds I don't agree that you are taking more of a chance. All dogs need exercise, good food and a consistent responsible loving owner, with that any dog no matter the breed or mix of breeds will be a loyal and loving , well behaved pet. The problem with people and dogs are the misunderstandings. Aggression and other behaviors are often misread, and a bad diet, sickness, pain lack of exercise can cause a dog to appear aggressive or having other behavior issues. Dogs that destroys/chews things may be frustrated from lack of exercise, possibly it needs a job, or it could have separation anxiety, or something else going on. Dogs want to please so if there is negative behavior you or someone who has handled or had that dog is or has done something wrong. Thank you for your post:)
  25. I'm happy Ice4fun:) I didn't know this was happiness day thank you for letting us know:). Maybe that's why I've been in such a great mood. Weather wise it's been a gloomy day but today was a great day for me because I had a great workout, my dogs are good, I've met some sexy new men, going out to have some fun, drink wine and eat good food. Life is good:) What makes me happy on other days-when a homeless dog I've met becomes homed. When I hear from my best friend and she is happy when the sun shines when my online friend sends me one of his funny jokes when someone pays me a compliment or smiles my way Knowing that there are many good days are ahead:)
