    Was in a fairly old building today, on the third floor, in a meeting with a group. Everybody stopped talking and we look at eachother. We then proceed to get out. Must tell you, it was fast. I prefer shaking of pleasure...

    Since I became a "cerbian" not so long ago, I was wondering about the vocabulary used: SP, MP, Escort, Courtisan, hobbiest or hobbyist... and had to consult quite often the FAQ here on the site for the definition of the abbreviations. And then, to be fully part of this community, I began to use that vocabulary, first to be understood, and then not to offend anybody. I am not so at ease using the abbreviation of SP, and also, when the conversation is about "using a SP", it is a turn off for me. My understanding of the issue here is that CERB is a place to advertise services from providers, AND a community of people that share not only a mutual interest, but also a kind of philosophy of life. When the business side takes over, the unconscious reflex of the consumer is to ask others : "have you used this, and that?" If someone forgets that this business is about real people sharing an intimate part of themself, I think, IMHO, that we loose something fundamental. I like the ladies here at CERB and I am an admirer of their professionalism, and I am interested not only in what they do, but also on what they think, and I feel more a person myself with all the sharing that happens here. I dont have many suggestions about the vocabulary or acronyms, but more on the way we express ourselves, so that we consider each other as persons able of relationship.... and, for sure, fun.:motion:

    I agree with Annessa on the issue of rates. The real evaluation of the "market price" is on the shoulders of the SP. If her rate for what she offers is too high, her "clientele" will eventually fade out, and she will react accordingly. From my own perspective of this hobby, it's the kind of business where I dont want to "make deals", "negociate" or try to get a "rebate". I want to meet women that offer top quality GFE and that can live of their "art". There are serious and wonderful SPs here at CERB and we, hobbiests, have all the tools to be well informed of the services they offer, their rates and what to expect from them, even we can get in touch directly with the SP to chat and prepare our encounters. So, there is no reasons when I choose to contact a specific SP, to begin an annoying negociation that will, obviously break the "magic" of what this hobby is all about. If somebody can't afford the rate of a specific SP, either he will have to choose somebody else, or if he wants her bad, he will have to wait until he will be able to afford her donation. It's like everything else in life. I may be a little bit a dreamer, but in a way, this "hobby" is a fantasy in reality, isn't ?

    Since I began this hobby, it's clear for me that when I ask an appt. from an "escort" or a "courtisan", it is to be with her, all her, and I pay for her time. And I always like the idea to pay at the beginning, so the "business" aspect of the encounter is behind us, putting all the possibilities in front of us. Calculating, negociating, having X Y Z expectations, having some goals, imposing a certain level of performance, are, for me, a killer of the encounter. For me, the real luxury is to let this special time with this special "courtisan" go with my feeling of the moment; sometime to have torrid sex, sometime a relaxing and cosy moment with a glass of wine, good music and a deep conversation, or ... who knows ? So the issue of the rates or donations rely on the free choice of the lady.
