Well, well, I am here now. I understood from my experience, first, that I like it very much and makes me very horny, and second that when you treat a lady with care giving her some "caresses" that arouse her, the time together gets better for both.

I am a big fan of DATY, and when I find the right way to please my partner, the mutual pleasure is huge. For me, the key is to listen to the other with what she says and what she expresses in her body. In some occasions, the DATY part of my encounters gave us, the Sp and I, a very high level of pleasure that I will remember the rest of my life.

You are right, Capitalman. The key is word is "real world". My understanding is that when I want to take care of a relationship, I should try to find ways to manifest that. Gifts or tips, it depends on the situation and your personality; the main issue is to stay in the "real world", as you say.

This thread, and in particular this post by Cat, is very useful and lights up my mind about the tipping issue. Each time I look at ads and websites of an agency or of an indy, donations, rates and services are key informations to me. Besides the enthousiasm and the charm of those beautiful ladies, this hobby is related to a business, and money is a real issue. When I began to be an hobbiest, I want to take that seriously and be able to respect the ladies in very way I can. One critical issue is the way we give the donation, how we respect the rates without any negociation, and how we can ( or have) to tip, to manifest how glad we are with the moment shared. Bad tipping could be felt as an insult, like leaving pennies in a restaurant; a good tip will be appreciated and will be a good sign of respect. Cat's post explain that very clearly, and keeps the relationship between the sp and the hobbiest in the reality of life. Tipping is not only based on the quality of what was given, but about the experience shared. "Efficiency" in that matter does not rely only on the sp, but, obviously also on the hobbiest; it needs two to tango! For sure, to have a good time with a lady and to share the good time with her are the main goal of what I do here. When tipping comes in mind, my feeling is that it gives me an opportunity to share above the plain "donation". With my many thanks to the wonderful ladies of cerb.

Tracie, you are a real teacher. You made me learned something today, quite useful. I take a great care of myself when I plan to meet a sp, and I take a special attention to what I eat, mainly to have a nice and clean breathe. Now, I will add to my "ritual' before a meeting, the concern about what I taste ;-). I find that perspective quite exciting, to try to be at my best on all aspects, and more than the hygiene part of my body. Still remaining new at this hobby, I want to learn every dimensions of it, so the pleasure of sharing a moment of life and living an exciting experience will grow and become even more rewarding for me and the lady I am with. It's like preparing ourself for a gastronomic experience where all our senses have to be at their best to benefit from this gourmet moment. What I could add is that what we eat will have an effect not only of what we taste, but on the smell of our skin. Some spices, like curcuma, will modify not only our breathe, but also the smell of our skin. Each skin will not react the same, and each of us has to be aware of it.

Well, well, Spring brings a lot in my mind. My first thought when I read this thread, Anessa, was the sight of the blue crocus raising from the snow and from the brownish grass. The fresh blue reflexion on the dull color, make me hope for the best. Thanks Mod for this common sense reflection. In these matters, each of us, SPs and Hobbiest, have to keep in mind that it is in the interest of all to play it safe. And we remains responsible for what we do and how we do things; it's not only a question of having fun, but a question of life, relationship and respect. Each time I read posts on CERB about these issues, I find that this community is meaningful.

Very good and wise comment from PistolPete. The day I came to CERB, it was those kind of comments that caught my attention. The more I read and participate in this forum, the more I find this community important and reliable. For sure, my first experience with a sp would have never happened without my research and my readings on CERB. I appreciate this mostly because sp and hobbiest form the same community. One of the sp's I have met, told me that CERB was important to her and that she can rely on it. I feel the same. For me, repeat is and will be a sure modus operandi in my case. First encounters has something exciting for sure, but I consider them as the "breaking the ice" apt. Physical chemistry is not everything in my mind, I must have a real connection, a minimum of complicity with the sp to really enjoy the encounter.

Dear Emma A, Born in Montreal and now in Ottawa, the language barrier is on the other side for me. I find English people in Ottawa quite cool. My big French accent when I speak English seems not to bother anyone, and sometimes is considered sexy ! For sure, some people are intolerant and dont give a chance to anybody different; in every culture bad people remains bad people ( and I am polite !;-)); it's universal. But in any culture, to try to understand eachother and to make some effort to learn from the others is the key to live together in harmony.
