  1. She plays a rather understated role as the cheif's personal assistant on Blue Bloods. When Abigail Hawk let's her hair down, and you see her eyes close up, she is a stunner:
  2. That last one is especially for Georgiana, since she's fond of itty bitty bloomers!
  3. Take care WIT, and thanks for all your many and varied contributions to this community over the years. You will be missed.
  4. The pic of Katty Perry posted by stevecurious made me think of Bette Davis. Ok, she was a bit before my time but I'm old enough to remember she was famous for her eyes even before Kim Carnes sang about them.
  5. The photo is from a generic source, but I'm 99.9% sure you're right. She often comes up when I query for "eyes".
  6. I can think of a couple of possible reasons for that. First, the Meg Foster photos are from a different decade and styles have changed. Second, the topic is "alluring eyes" so we're tending to select pics that have an alluring or sultry aspect to them. The smokey eye technique tends to enhance that look. Oddly enough, just before I saw cat's post I was about to post a few picks of the "cat eye" style ... Now I'm curious cat ... what other styles are there and what do you like?
  7. This seems to me to be exactly the type of question or subject that should be "in bounds". While an SP might reserve certain things for their private life, a general question like this shouldn't be off putting and I suspect most SP's would be quite receptive to it. In fact, I would find it pretty strange if they weren't, though I suspect many may turn the focus back to you since it's their role to make you happy. That said, I'm sure many clients derive a lot of pleasure from knowing they are pleasing their partner. An astute SP recognizes this and helps satisfy that need by communicating her likes and dislikes too. Then both parties have a great time. Client questions sometimes stray into the "out of bounds" areas because we are curious or eager to know what the boundaries are in this business. This is especially true for newbies. Respectfullness and patience are the key qualities a client needs to exhibit in order to avoid triggering an SP's "spidey sense".
  8. Recently, Vanguard joined CERB and in his first message he mentioned the following ... I did a quick check of this section and couldn't find any advice on questions or subjects to avoid initiating with an SP. Perhaps we could all weigh in with our thoughts on this. Some of it is common sense of course. I would avoid subjects that I'd avoid at a dinner party with people I didn't know; e.g. religion and politics. And I'd avoid sensitive personal questions; e.g. about age, weight, sexual orientation, etc. But with an SP I think there are some other questions or subjects that are best avoided, or at least, approached with caution. For example: - anything that might help reveal the SP's true identity; e.g. asking her real name, where she was born, etc. - inquiring into her motivation for being an SP Those are just two examples. My questions to the community are: 1. As an SP, are there questions or subjects that you are uncomfortable with, especially from a new client? 2. As a client, are there questions or subjects you avoid on the first visit, or first several visits, or perhaps always?
  9. I just came across this thread today, and like many others I hit the Nominate button. Futileresistenze subsequently posted a thank you on my Guestbook, and pointed out that it was odd that so many people had nominated the post yet none had replied to it. So, this is an answer to that. Sometimes a message is complete enough that no further comment is required. I think the many nominations demonstrate that people agree wholeheartedly with what was written, and the lack of replies is simply an indication that people did not feel the need to add to what was said, or to contradict any of it. There were no questions involved, nor any invitations to provide other views, so there was nothing to reply to. That's a very good thing! In fact, I think the posting is a good candidate for being made into a "sticky" within this section. If you agree, let me know and I'll ask mod to do so.
  10. Thanks so much for sharing that!!! :icon_eek: Returning now to our regularly scheduled program ...
  11. When I began this thread, I collected pics of brown, blue and green eyes. I had a hard time finding anyone with black eyes. As you might guess, querying for black eyes tends to get you a lot of battered looking people! Anyway, the closest I found at the time was Penelope Cruz, though her eyes are a very dark brown I think. Today as I was googling around I found Gabrielle Union. Her eyes are pretty black. And she sure is pretty!
  12. Pale blue eyes really grab one's attention. An older actress that stands out for me in this regard is Meg Foster. Unfortunately most of her photos are pre-digital era, but here are the best examples I could find. Emily Deschanel is probably her modem counterpart.
