  1. My summer drinks would be water, iced tea and beer. I like using brewed tea and real lemon for my ice tea rather than the powder. that way I can keep the sugar content low -- I find sweet drinks just make me more thirsty. (Not to mention packing on the pounds!) While I gravitate towards Irish cream ales (e.g. Kilkenny) and Guiness throughout most of the year, they are too heavy for a hot summer's day by the pool. Corona, preferably with lime, is much more satisfying. Another beer I like is Bierra Moretti, the Italian beer. It has lots of carbonation which provides a refreshing taste in the heat, yet gives minimal head (yuk yuk) when poured into a frosted mug. Leaves the mouth crisp and wet.
  2. Why is it that instructions for microwaving food often say "let stand for 2 minutes before serving"? I don't know about you, but I just let the dish sit there -- no standing involved!
  3. Something like this, Nathalie? Corsets would be a great theme for the Beautiful Lingerie thread that I started. I'm just waiting on someone else to post there so I can post some that I have queued up. We should keep this thread focused on stockings, since that's how it started. Ensembles can go in the Limgerie thread.
  4. Whipped cream and fresh strawberries ...
  5. It is often said that the eyes are the window to the soul. With that in mind, here's a thread that pays homage to those with beautiful eyes. If you come across a pic of someone with striking eyes, share it with us here. To start with, here are a few of my favorites ...
  6. 'tis better to have a receding hairline than an advancing one!
  7. Came across this today while gathering some pics of sexy stockings ...
  8. Pay no attention to what she's pointing at in the picture at left ... this thread is about abs! So focus!
  9. I seem to keep coming back to Lise Charmel again and again. Trying here for some different styles or colors ...
  10. Amelia, As has been often discussed on other threads, the key difference between a romantic or life-partner relationship and an SP/client relationship is the emotional attachment. From your description of events, it sounds like you once had a romantic relationship with this person. The danger in attempting an SP/client relationship with this person is that it might slide into another romantic engagement. (It sounds like you are already curious about what might have happened had you continued your previous relationship.) You need to ask yourself whether you want to risk rekindling the romance. If not, you need to let them know that you can't see them as an SP now because of your past emotional involvement. You don't need to help them find an alternative -- that just prolongs the contact. If, after careful introspection, you find you are interested in rekindling the romance, you need to find out if they feel the same. If they do, then you should NOT engage them in an SP/client relationship, but you could consider dating them. Anyway, for what it's worth that's how I'd handle it.
  11. A social sounds like fun! It would be great to meet some of the members in person. Not having attended last year, though, I have a few questions: 1. Is this an evening event? 2. What kind of venue are we talking about? A bar? A club? 3. Are couples welcome? 4. I understand it will be held in a public place, but will we have a section to ourselves? 5. How do we identify ourselves and other cerb members? 6. Will there be any protocols to follow? e.g. not using last names, or cerb handles, or whatever. Count me as tentative for now.
  12. Brilliant! What a great idea! Thanks cometman, for posting that.
