  1. Society granting you permission to do something is meaningless if you don't have the resources to do it.
  2. One of the women who works for them is Mz Saddie (or least that's what she used to be called), who used to be independent but I guess she prefers to have this agency take care of the admin stuff. I met her once, she came to my place. She's a nice girl. You can find her recommendations under 'Mz Saddie' and I think also under 'Sexxxy Saddie'. I saw Saddie when she was independent, so I can't say anything about how Capital Bookings works as an agency. And I don't recognize any of the other SPs in their roaster.
  3. I've seen enough movies to know aliens mostly attack big American cities. I'll just go to Iceland. Aliens won't attack Iceland because they don't have monuments that look cool when exploding.
  4. Thanks for the info on Eva. It's a shame she retired but there are still more women that I want to meet than I have time or energy. So I can't feel too bad.
  5. I really liked this movie REDBELT. It's technically about MMA UFC stuff, but it's not a sports movie. It's more of a drama thriller about the mindset of martial arts than about fighting. Chiwetel Ejiofor gives a really solid performance in the lead role, he deserves more work.
  6. Something that always cramps my mind is when people say something is "not for the easily-offended". The reason being, I don't think anybody considers themselves to be easily offended. Everybody considers their own offence to be legitimate. I've never met somebody who's said "That offended me, but I'm a stupid ninny and I get my knickers in a twist over the dumbest shit. Seriously, I am soooo touchy and unreasonable."
  7. I've wanted to meet Eva Adore for a long time. Our schedules never seem to match up. I also wanted to meet Emma from MGF. She gets such great praise. All the ladies from that agency seem to be really well regarded. I also wanted to meet Luxe Mulvari, she comes across like a really cool person and in her photos she totally looks like a young Pam Grier. And I was all set to meet Voluptous Vanessa, but then personal injury got in the way. I still hope to meet her someday.
  8. Here's an interview with Ridley Scott and he's already talking about an extended cut DVD that will likely be 20 - 30 minutes longer. http://collider.com/ridley-scott-prometheus-deleted-scenes-interview/172202/
  9. Yeah, I found this to film to be a bit scattered too. I liked the ideas, the acting from the three leads (Rapace, Theron, and Fassbender), the special effects, and the design. The plot just went off in all these different directions and the film didn't really pull them all together in the third act in a particularly meaningful way. I especially thought that Rapace and Theron's characters were such opposites that they were on a collision course. There's one big event in the second half of the film that I thought would bring about a conflict between these two but then it just seemed like other more important things took priority. I think Ridley Scott probably overcut this one, as he tends to do with his theatrical cuts, and I think a longer cut of the film would probably be better. I liked the ambiguity of the film and didn't need more answers, I just needed the movie to take a bit more time with the characters. I can't call it a bad movie, but it was a bit disappointing. I do intend to see it again and I expect it will grow on me more. I hope he puts out a longer cut on DVD.
  10. I agree with Porthos's caution. SPs are generally paid to provide a fantasy, and the best SPs are ones who can make a man feel instantly comfortable around her, so she's probably not the best indication of what a real first date or normal social exchange would be like. Also, I don't believe there's any magic key to understanding women other than listening to them. You should probably think about how you would want your ideal relationship to work. Then think about what kind of woman would be needed to be the other half of that type of relationship. Then listen to the women you meet and see if they match with what you're looking for, but be open to the idea that you actually be just as happy with something else.
  11. I have encountered many SPs with demographic barriers such as age and race. I am white and I have never seen an SP who refuses to see white clients. However I am young and look even younger than I am, so if an SP says she won't see younger clients, I respect her barrier and I don't bother contacting her. I believe in an SP's right to choose who she sees. I also believe in an agency's right to choose which SPs they have representing them. I think if you're an SP with barriers, it's best to be up front about them and save everybody some time and grief. If a client shows up for service only to be sent away for something that could've easily been checked when he set up the appointment, I can understand why he would be frustrated. Whenever I contact an SP, I ask the questions I want answered, then I ask her if she has anything she wants to know about me. I figure this is a good gracious way to prompt her to ask about anything such as age or race if it's an issue for her.
  12. I don't think age differences matter in general. Roamingguy brings up the issue of health problems, and that seems to be true in the case he describes, but one's health can go wrong at any age. So the older person can just as easily end up taking care of the younger person. I know a couple, the man is 50 and the woman is 30, but it's the woman who has constant health problems as is basically bed-ridden while the man is very healthy. I also thought the whole idea behind marriage was that you were devoted to this person in sickness and in health etc. If you want a relationship that has no downsides and no sacrifice, then marriage is not for you.
  13. A colleague of mine just got back from Tibet and was showing me his photos. This is the second colleague of mine who has done this and it has now made me really want to go there more than I ever did before.
