How To Have Sex With Escorts: A Primer
Kate von Katz replied to VedaSloan's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that maybe you meant it better than it came out, but phrases like that are a red flag. It tells me that you have assigned yourself a position of self-assumed authority/power over another, deeming them worthy of kindness only after they have earned it. The other board may be more honest as you say, but there's this funny little thing about human psychology: we love to jump on bandwagons. Especially bandwagons where we can do bad things with no consequence. Which is why the other board has so much negativity - which sadly is sometimes unfounded, exaggerated or just plain bias. I don't see how that is honest. As an SP, I can only speak for myself and my own methods, but in my reality, people deserve respect, courtesy and politeness from the start, without having to earn it. I don't sit back and watch them try to please me with phrases like "treat me well and I'll treat you well". That's a bribe, plain and simple. And frankly it's distasteful. -
I'm exactly the same! Not just in my working life, either. People show you their true character, and if I don't like what I see, then it's curtains. No encore. There are exceptional circumstances, but they don't happen very often. If a client can't treat you with respect, courtesy and good manners from the get-go, then he's not worth it IMO. There's no shortage of other ladies he can go see, and there's no shortage of other guys you can see. Better than to suffer through an awkward appointment that neither one of you will really enjoy. You tell people how you wish to be treated by how you respond. Do what you feel is best, and in accordance with how you want to be treated. It's a rule I live by.

Revelstoke. (I thought it was on the Island, but I got it confused with Chamanus. 6 years gone and I can't even remember half the street names!)

Kathmandu. A good friend of mine brought me back sandalwood prayer beads from somewhere around there. (You know who you are! <3 )

So, after reading the thread about licensing in Saskatoon, I was moved to compose an e-mail to the officers mentioned in the article. My e-mail explained my perspectives on the mutual benefits of LE having a good relationship (that doesn't involve busting) with independent ladies. (Agencies and MPs are a little harder to establish good relations with, but not impossible. Starting with indys is an easy first step.) I am going to keep everyone posted on this as any ladies who are in Saskatoon, or traveling to Saskatoon may benefit from this. Best case scenario, we can set up some sort of SP-friendly contact for reporting dangerous clients or other points of interest. Worst case scenario, I'll have attracted undue attention to myself. But LE rarely troubles themselves with indys as most of us are quiet, discreet and don't cause any reason for them to pay us a visit. So I'm optimistically thinking it will be a best-case scenario that plays out. If anyone has personal experience (that is relevant) with a positive encounter with LE, please share. It feels like this is a good time to extend an olive branch and forge a healthy, beneficial relationship with LE. It will help them and it will help us. Post Scriptum It occurs to me that some may find this foolhardy or naive. True, I can be. But there's already a precedent for this in other cities where there are police contacts for SPs. I think the main reason why it doesn't happen more is because it's kind of daunting putting yourself out there. My respect to all the ladies who have done this. Additional Comments: I have spent much of the afternoon corresponding with one Constable Robert Lechner of the Saskatoon Police. He has given me permission to share his contact information for any ladies who may wish to contact him. (PM me) They (LE) are far more interested in busting underage bawdy houses than they are with indys and discreet agencies. (As is usually the case in any city.) So please, ladies, don't be afraid to talk to the police if you've had a sketchy client, a dangerous encounter, or anything else they ought to know about. It doesn't happen often, but if (Gods forbid) it does happen, you can file a report. I will be personally visiting Cst. Lechner the day after I move to town to say hi, touch base on the licensing protocols, and maybe even get some suggestions on where's good for a beer. 'Cause I hate moving, and I'm gonna need a good brewski!

Saskatoon Escort Licensing Proposed
Kate von Katz replied to a topic in Escort Discussion for Regina & Saskatoon
Personally, I hope they do make this law. I am moving there in a few months and I'd feel a lot more comfortable with the city having licenses. In Victoria, where I was a licensed indy, my incall was quite literally across the street from the main police station (Caledonia and Quadra). I had to call them once because of a client making a scene, and they handled it professionally and without bias. It makes working with LE easier, and important. By giving licenses, LE is bridging a gap between us and them, which makes (most) girls less afraid of being "busted". Which, in turn, means that we can share more information with each other and make the industry a whole heck of a lot safer. To be honest, I'm inclined to find the contact information for some of the people involved in this and write them a letter saying as much. I support the licensing 100%. -
How do you start your day

1) Stretch. 2) Pee. 3) Make a cup of tea and watch my roomies bustle about. 4) Check online stuff. 5) Grab something light to eat like yogurt and/or a piece of fruit. 6) Head out for the day. Sometimes, my sleep patterns shift and I find myself awake in the middle of the night (2 or 3AM). I actually quite enjoy this. They say before the industrial revolution, most people were up in the middle of the night for a couple of hours, and would visit neighbors or other such things. I really enjoy getting up and having a quiet cup of tea when the world's alseep. I don't set my alarms, though. Haven't used an alarm in years. My body knows when to get up. -
I'd be violating my own rules if I went with the Elysian Fields. So I'll go with the Euphrates :-)

*snicker* Penticton. Ah, I miss Peachfest! (No that's not a double entendre)

I agree! Not that I've worked in a lot of cities, but I have worked in Victoria, Vancouver, Halifax, and Ottawa. And out of the lot Ottawa BY FAR has the worst no-shows, time-wasters and just plain bad clients. Maybe that's just my luck, but I think because Ottawa has so many gorgeous ladies of all types to choose from, the gents here have become a little too demanding/finicky. Overall. I've also met some wonderful gentlemen here, don't get me wrong. But percent-wise, I've had a much higher percent of undesirables than in any other place.

Guilty pleasures....
Kate von Katz replied to Meg O'Ryan's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
LOL, Carrie! Those are enviable shoes! My biggest guilty pleasure is Britney Spears. Sometimes, when there's no one around to witness it, I'll crank up "Slave4U" (or however she spells it) and rock out. But shhh... don't tell anyone! ;-) -
Eugene. For beer lovers, Oregon is the place to be. Some of the best hops in the world grows there. Some of the best microbrew, too! I love all the little add-ons and factoids about places. :-) I is learnin' stuff... a-hyuk!

Yeah, okay, weird topic, I know. But hey, a good recipe can be hard to come by! So I was wondering if anyone would like to share/trade tried-and-true recipes that get rave reviews. Picking one off Google just doesn't cut it sometimes. And I'm kind of on a baking bender lately. Keeps me from being too bored at my incall. And makes the place smell really good! :-) So... anyone interested in sharing recipes? Probably easier to make a group, I reckon. And if I'm late to the party (as I usually am), feel free to point me to any group that already exists for such a purpose!
