  1. For sure! We live in an amazing period in human history. Science is making massive progress annually. As is technology. It's really astounding when you stop and actually think about all the amazing things we've done - and are on the verge of doing.
  2. I love living in the modern world! http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/04/1-chip-tests-for-hiv-in-15-minutes-flat-fits-in-your-wallet/
  3. ..... and that, my liege, is why the world is banana shaped.
  4. Z is for zebra-print nipple zingers. (I don't know what a nipple zinger is, so use your imagination!)
  5. An explaination was asked for and it was given. You don't have to like it and I'm not going to pretend or sugar-coat for the sake of pacification.. Forget I asked about the SP only area. I'll just trust my gut about clients. Posted via Mobile Device
  6. Alright, this is going to sound bitchy as hell, but I don't really feel too much love right now. Firstly, stop chewing my ass out for not wanting to advertise on EC. In case y'all forgot (or weren't aware) I am paying the majority of my way through school, which is far from cheap. Not only are my monthly expenses massive between private life costs and costs related to this life, but my schedule is tight an I do not have time for more than one appointment on days I am working. Homework comes first. So not only do I not have a lot of money for advertising on a thousand and one sites, but I don't have the time to see all the clients that would contact me. Secondly, I never said I was not supporting Cerb, and I never said I was never going to advertise on Cerb. I will be advertising on Cerb when I have the extra money to do so. Thirdly, I don't know any of the ladies on Cerb, as I have not had time to meet any of them. Spamming them with PMs seemed less tasteful than making a thread. Excuse me for attempting to not enrage people. Apparently I enraged people regardless. Excuse me for not feeling cuddly towards Cerb at the moment. Posted via Mobile Device
  7. Thanks, but I am not advertising on EC. Nor will I be. Posted via Mobile Device
  8. I am not able to access the SP only area, and I need to either advertise on EC or be vouched for by a lady (or ladies) on Cerb. So, uh... can I get a witness? :-) Posted via Mobile Device
  9. Yikes! Tasteless behavior! Thanks for the head's up, Mod. Ever vigilant, you are. Posted via Mobile Device
  10. It's a matter of preference, for sure. It's only "wrong" if someone is a pedophile and/or sees underage girls. If you like women who are of legal age in a non "call me daddy" kind of way, nothing wrong with that. Ditto if a younger gentleman prefers more mature women. It's the psychology behind the attraction that makes it "iffy" or not. Does that make sense? Posted via Mobile Device
  11. Or you could write a recommendation! Not enough gents write recos on ladies they saw. Posted via Mobile Device
  12. I'm happy for school for myself! I love being on student council, being a peer tutor and the fun of learning something new (yeah, I'm one of those top-of-my-class people). And of course buying new binders, cool new gel pens and the like is fun. Of course my schedule will be tighter than ever, and sleep will be more valued than chocolate, but I still love it. Parents must feel relief/excitement for their wee ones heading back to classes, too. They get some time without the kid(s) and they get to swell with pride when their kid(s) display(s) new-found knowledge. Posted via Mobile Device
  13. Well if you're concerned about a towel, you may also want to consider the bedsheets! A towel should only be drying clean water from a person's body - assuming the person showers with soap. The sheets on the other hand.... If you're that worried, keep an extra towel and bedsheet in the trunk of your car. You can also tell the lady when you book that you will be showering and would like a fresh towel. That way she has a head's up and no reason for not having a clean towel for you. 14. Well ya gotta give the author credit, he is absolute genius. It was written far too well for the guy to really be that big a douche. I only wonder what his purpose in posting that was. Posted via Mobile Device
  15. One major (but seldom considered) factor is sheer politics. Pakistan doesn't have the greatest track record for human (especially women's) rights, and they are well-known to harbor terrorists. While this should not stop people from contributing to relief efforts for the millions of innocent citizens homeless and facing starvation, disease, and utter destruction of agricultrual lands, it does. And it speaks a great deal about how politics really affect just how much people are willing to help one another. Pakistan needs help in a big way. People are suffering in ways most of us couldn't fathom. If you can you should help. But many aren't because of what is nothing less than prejudice and discrimination. Posted via Mobile Device
  16. Very well said, Amelia. Sadly, my phone won't allow me to nominate a post, so I'm nominating your post in writing! :-) Posted via Mobile Device
  17. Ah, yes the misnomer that weight = fat. NOT TRUE! Muscle weighs 7 - 8 times for than fat, and weight is not an indicator of actual size. Sara: LOL!! Could you imagine if ladies actually did that! Hmmm... I'm thinking April Fool's prank.... Posted via Mobile Device
  18. Love the title of this thread ;-) Posted via Mobile Device Additional Comments: Love the title of this thread ;-) Posted via Mobile Device
  19. I specify on my website that my hours are GENERAL availability. Meaning that there are days when I do not work at all, or days when I am only available for part of the times outlined. And to think ladies are booking themselves back-to-back of her own choice is silly! Most of us enjoy time for a shower and down-time between appointments. Personally, if I have an appointment end at 3 I don't want to take another until 5. Posted via Mobile Device
  20. Dammit!! At least you're computer literate, 'cause I'm sure not! Thanks for the tech support! :-) Posted via Mobile Device
  21. Woops... I made a small typo, this could be why the link is a dud. I fixed it, but my phone automatically capitolizes the first letter of a new sentence, so the h in "http" should not be capitolized - though I don't think it has any bearing on the rest of the link. The edited link should work. And a good friend is a marathon goer, so I'm getting excellent training and tips from him for getting back to running. Posted via Mobile Device
  22. Someone just be there with a set of defibulators at the end of it :-) Posted via Mobile Device
  23. I have been getting a lot of people asking how they can help fundraise for my 5km run on Sept 19th for the Terry Fox Foundation. I registered and got an online profile which you can use to make a donation if you so choose. Http://my.e2rm.com/personalPage.aspx?registrationID=930344&langPref=en-CA I promised myself I would run in a marathon this year, and what better one to participate in than an iconic Canadian's legacy. I haven't run in years, and it's gonna take a lot of work to get myself ready to run 5km, but if Terry Fox can run across this vast country, there is no excuse why I cannot run a mere 5km. Thank you in advance for all your support, financial and moral. Lindsay Posted via Mobile Device
  24. I rarely take same-day bookings, especially now that life got a whole lot busier! Guys, don't assume we are always able to promptly reply to your contact. Sometimes we can, sometimes we can't. Name-calling is completely unwarranted. And since it was previously brought up - if you can't follow a lady's rules (especially with the all-important confirmation call) don't waste her time by booking. The rules - very much like the rates - are NOT up for negotiation or "special exceptions". Posted via Mobile Device
