  1. Good question! I've had both critical feedback and positive feedback. Mostly neutral. You should make this a poll. Posted via Mobile Device
  2. I like the old IKEA commercial where the woman runs out and she's yelling "start the car! START THE CAR!". Lol. And the Stella Artois commercial with the pirate ship in the fountain. Pirates rock! Posted via Mobile Device
  3. Sorry, but did anyone else have that scene from Rat Race pop in their mind? Hot tub full of Pepto Bismal, sailor hats, you shave my buttocks. LOL Not trying to make fun, just made me think of that. Posted via Mobile Device
  4. Bloodwork is the worst for me as my veins don't like to come out for the nurse, so more often than not they literally have to take a few stabs at it >_< Oh well, usually I get a full panel done every four months, which is normally 3 vials. At least this one was only one vial. And no fasting! But I'm still whiny about needles. I'm borderline phobic. Haven't passed out yet, but I have had to be held down many times. 5. Mmmm... fruit and buckwheat honey.... *drool* Posted via Mobile Device
  6. I was totally gonna throw that in there! George Lucas + Jar Jar = hilarious! I'm gonna add another slave to the mix for myself - Shakira. I want her to teach me to move like that! Posted via Mobile Device
  7. So I'm going to school soon. For healthcare. Guess how many needles I have to get? FOUR!! I HATE needles!!! Immunizations, tetanus, bloodwork. Icky! So not a happy camper right now *pout* Posted via Mobile Device
  8. Not to mention get puked on, and occassionally get other fluids and excrements on them! Nurses are the front-line of healthcare, and they really should get more thanks. Posted via Mobile Device
  9. Not sure, but I know there are a few different ones in town. Try googling "produce delivery ottawa". Posted via Mobile Device
  10. 100 mile diet. You can have bins of produce delivered to you weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. But I love going to farmers markets! Posted via Mobile Device
  11. Yes, I worked at Bux, too. Man, their pastry is good! Not too healthy, though! My Achilles' heel was a chocolate chip cookie heated up. Melty gooey goodness! Though did you know that all of Bux pastries are made in Seattle and shipped to distriubution warehouses frozen? It doesn't affect the food quality, I got so disillusioned with the food industry... now I only trust local bakers. Posted via Mobile Device
  12. Hey, I have my fair share of brain-farts! I think I need to stop thinking about beans! LOL Posted via Mobile Device
  13. I worked at Tim's once upon a time, and nothing on their menu is low calorie. Even the healthy sounding stuff is high fat/high calorie. One single little timbit is a minimum 70 calories! Whole grain is great, but when it's made with processed wheat flour, kinda pointless. If I wanna eat bad, I'm gonna go all-out with a decadent cupcake or mousse! Posted via Mobile Device
  14. No, not the television show. Real people that did extraordinary things. We all forget from time to time just how much a person can accomplish, and how deeply inspirational pondering this can be. So I'm curious, who - past or present - do you view as a hero? Off the top of my head, some of my heros are: Mother Theresa - that woman was beyond charitable. Ghandi - for proving war doesn't have to be the answer. Terry Fox - for not giving up without a hell of a fight. All the victims of WW2 and any other soldier who bravely fights for an honorable cause. Rosa Parks and all who stood up with her for racial equality. Posted via Mobile Device
  15. Not very creative of me, but I always google stuff when I need new recipe ideas. If you want to have the wow factor, opt for anything with a nice pate. People love that stuff, and for my life I don't know why. Posted via Mobile Device
  16. Well, he may get Stockholm Syndrome and not want to leave. "Cuddly I wanna-hump-him-way"?? LMAO And guys, you can post here, too! :-) Posted via Mobile Device
  17. Cupcakes?? YUMMY!! Lowdark, you truly are a gentleman to atone for the sins of others. Posted via Mobile Device
  18. Carrie's post about hardcore religion and the possessing of slaves from neighboring nations got my silly side thinking.... If you could have anyone as a slave for a week who would you pick? Me: Nicolas Cage - the guy's nuts, so he's bound to be a great court jester! Ville Valo - he's just damned sexy! And he can sing me to sleep anytime! And my cats - turn the tables on the little buggers! (Please, masters, don't kill me for the thought...) Posted via Mobile Device
  19. Exactly! Though it's a crying shame some people get turned down solely due to ethnicity or physical issues. Posted via Mobile Device
  20. If yer not a little nuts, yer probably boring! Slightly crazy (in a harmless, fun-loving way) is the way to be! Okay ladies, who wants to plan a day-trip to Le Nordik? $40 is all access to pools and hot tub. I've been trying to make it there all summer to no avail! Posted via Mobile Device
  21. Wow. Ladies like to know you've had your eye on us, but we don't want to hear we were literally on a list that you called through to see who could see you soonest! Ick! Posted via Mobile Device
