It was lovely spending time with you, frankfurt! And no, I am not a spinner, though I appreciate the sentiment. :-) Posted via Mobile Device -
Lost and found

Nudity is highly under-rated! Never had anyone leave anything behind, but I have lost several bottles of lube and stockings. Thankfully both are relatively inexpensive and simple enough to replace. Posted via Mobile Device -
Chicken/Rib Fest!!
Kate von Katz replied to Kate von Katz's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I have plans to go for dinner with some friends there tonight at 5:30. I hope this damned rain lets up by then 'cause I'm DYING for some ribs!! -
I am planning on going into the field of personal care, and I can honestly say that I feel for your situation. I don't know the nature of your relationship with your aide(s), so I cannot suggest anything in that department. But there are some good suggestions here. Finding a way to contain your fluids would make clean-up a breeze. Of course this pends on mobility and dexterity. Posted via Mobile Device

Hey, what can I say? I know a little bit about a lot of things. Animals especially. I wanted to be a zoologist and idolized Jack Hanna. :-) Give the pooches a smooch for me! Posted via Mobile Device -

Earthquake in Ottawa?
Kate von Katz replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Yep, the nearest fault is near MTL, so the epicenter was likely near there. Based on how it felt here it was probably a 5.1 or so at the epicenter. Earthquakes are neat.... as long as they're somewhere else. -

Pets are like little people (well, maybe not so little sometimes...). I hear ya on wanting to be sure they're in good care in your stead. I'm guessing they're a pitbull and a rottie or a doberman? They're good breeds. It's how people choose to raise them that determines aggression. Statistically speaking small breeds are more aggressive and bite more often - it's just 'cause they have pitifully small jaws no damage gets done so you don't hear about it. And dalmations are the most likely breed to go schizo - they're so inbred the whole damned breed is a time bomb. Every pitbull I've ever met was the biggest, meekest little suck ever. Until it came time to protect the pack, that is, but that's how dogs are. Submit to the pack leader, protect the pack when it's threatened. I'll be there when I get there (I don't know for sure when that's gonna be yet). I'll be the chick in a white Finland hockey cap. Probably in khaki shorts. I'll also have a Metro paper in hand. -

Well how's this for a solution: I created this group with a sense of inclusive community in mind. It states both in my original post presenting the idea and on thr group itself that all are welcome. Even lurkers. The choice to be annonymous is a choice I believe should be respected. Furthermore, the group's content is fully open, so discussing these matters on the group page is no less public for those who want to access that information. Now, I understand concerns some may have about this. So what do we do? Simple. Those who have no issue with the odd annonymous (and probably unnoticed) attendee at a social event keep on truckin' with the Cerb Social group. Those who are too uncomfortable with the openness can start their own group with private settings as per their comfort. No one needs to have hard feelings. No one needs to be put in a position they don't want to be put in. It's the only reasonable solution to make all involved happy. Posted via Mobile Device -

I disagree. I created this group as a social outing for participants of Cerb (lurkers included). People who do not want to be seen as part of Cerb, or who are just too shy to engage should be included. We are meeting in a very public place full of people what's the concern? Let the lurkers remain annonymous. Posted via Mobile Device -

Sure I'll try to remember to post a reminder, but if you think of it before me, go on ahead! It's a community group afterall! :-) As for timing, it seems mid evening works best. Maybe say around 6ish? There's bound to be at least a couple folks still there after 8 or 9 if you're running late/just getting in/etc. Posted via Mobile Device -

OMG I miss Vancouver so much!! But yeah, for a city it's size, there's not a lot of festivals and stuff. But you have Noodle Box! That's worth 10 Rib Fests! Posted via Mobile Device -

Lol. I've seen those shirts. I want one! So if you see a girl with that shirt, and you see another girl in a bra you'll know what happened :-P Posted via Mobile Device -
Figured I'd remind y'all of Rib Fest! It starts this week and runs from the 23rd to the 27th. A great place to get some chow for ladies (and gents) who are visiting or who are local. I'm salivating at the thought of it!! Vegetarians need not apply ;-) Posted via Mobile Device

Agreed. Short notice bookings and 15/20 min appointments are only going to exponentially increase the odds of attracting bad clients. And it doesn't really speak well of the lady, either. Posted via Mobile Device

A question for the ladies
Kate von Katz replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Vanessa, I agree completely. Coming from BC where doing bareback will get you fired from any agency, it was never something I had to compete with. But BBBJ indeed seem the rule, not the exception. I don't judge other for making their choices and taking calculated risks with health, but it is really hard to compete with. And no client in their right mind will ask for BBFS. BBBJ is risky enough, BBFS is just asking for all kinds of trouble. Thankfully no one has asked me, 'cause they'd get an earful, for sure!! Posted via Mobile Device -
Yes I noticed her profile had been suspended after I contacted her about this guy's information. What happened was preventable and I agree signs were there, but I do always feel a bit empathetic towards these situations. Trust yer instincts! And it is likely she used the warning section on this board to elicit sympathies and doubt from whatever was posted on the other board. I have seen this in BC before where girls who are chronically bad to their clients will try to turn the tables and play the victim card. Whatever the real story is, I feel for both parties involved. That kind of stress and nonsense does no one any good. If the session starts to go awry, just end it. Better to end it than have to plough through another (insert amount of time here) of zero chemistry, awkwardness and tension. Posted via Mobile Device

Never be worried to deal with the police. They aren't as disdainful of our profession as many seem to think. Give the police all the info, which appears to be a vehicle description and license plate number, and a physical description. A phone number would help to us ladies to block his number, but hopefully LE (law enforcement) will get crackin' on this asshole. Posted via Mobile Device

I heard about them a while ago. Seems a tad too frivolous for the money being spent. But, to each their own. Posted via Mobile Device
