For some people, the "choice" of seeing a sex worker is the choice between physical intimity and nothing. Just like the LGBTTIQQ2SA have the "choice" between being with someone they want to be with, being in a "straight relation" or being alone. People don't choose what attracts them, weither it's the gender, the race, physical attributes or mental attributes. Aside from past history of persecution, I don't see the difference. Maybe not now, but it could happen. If the it becomes the law and the next generations are raised to believe "johns" are pervert, sadistic exploitive men, they will grow to hate them. You really think in that kind of world, in 20-30 years, there won't be people that will do vigilante's act against johns? Even in States were homosexuality is/was illegal, some people prefered to beat or kill gay people instead of calling the cops on them.

It really depends on every individual wich kind of love is important (or if it's important at all). The vast majority probably can't live without love though. Just look at all the side effects people have when they aren't loved by there family, have no friend or never been in a romantic relation. Personnaly, i can't live without romantic love. Since i don't have it, it's a constant battle to not be depressed. Medication helps though. On the other hand, even if i'm not very social, i've always had friends and know i can make new ones. So even in the unlikely event that i have none, i wouldn't be to conserned that it would stay that way, and even if it does, i enjoyed friends for a long time. Likewise, i've always had a loving supportive family, so it's not really a need for me. And since i don't plan to have child, i'll probably end up "without" family eventually, but i'm not worried.

If it's temporary loneliness, as in-between relations, sure. If it's because you've always been alone, it won't help the lonely part. Mostly because, unless you're very rich, you won't be able to see an SP as often as you'd want someone. There's a lot of very good reasons to see an SP ( for your first time, to get better at sex, to get confortable with yourself, to try new things, cause you're horny, etc) But loneliness isn't a very good one from experience.

Yeah, probably need a new thread if we want to go in details. Me i love tall women, so i don't care. The same question could be asked to women though. For those who "dislike" man that is shorter, why? Specialy on dating website, you often see women flat out warning they won't date shorter men.

Haha, i lived the same situation except in reverse. I didn't want to lie to my parents about it. They were understanding, but they were really worried for me. Mostly stereotypes, scared that i'd get STD, get robbed, get killed, get arrested, etc.

Is there any better reason to seek companionship from an SP then because there's a void, you lack confidence or skill? Those are the ones that need it the most! Just "getting a life" or your answer to know yourself, be happy etc isn't easy and isn't always possible. It's something that take a lot of times and isn't only in your hand. Sometimes you night help to at least survive/hang in there until the problem is cared for. A good parallele would be asking someone depressive to just stop taking pills and be happy. To one day solve your problems and be happy, you might need those pills for stability and motivation on the way up. I'm sure there is some that have a problem, but i don't think trying to shame them or saying they are a sad bunch is the right attitude. You do realize that poor skills with women is also often caused my minor (or major) disabilities? It's also a lot of work to "get" skills with women, especially if you want to be true to yourself and be loved for what you are. Getting confidence takes success, even if it's "artificial" ones. You can't expect to just go outside and try to seduce women, rejection after rejection and while having absolutly no affection and sexual live. Especialy if you're not just aiming to "score" and actually want a serious relation with someone you could love.

Now that you'd specified it was alcoholism, maybe some other members who've dealt with it will be able to give some advices to help him!

That i totally aggree. But it's also true for adult women. Nobody should be seen as just a sex object and nobody should be used. That's why IMO, lying to someone just to get him/her in bed is immoral. I was only commenting on attraction. I don't think underaged girls are ready to make a choice like entering sex work and it should still be against the law. That's exactly the reason why sex work should be legal. Only that way will they be able to really concentrate on the abuse, coercion and trafficking without wasting time and ressources on conscenting adults. And looking like a girl/child is pretty subjective in a way. The size of the breasts or the curves? A lot of adults have very small breasts or small silhouette. And some childs have breasts as young as 11-12. Pubic hair is something only pubescent girls have...but a lot of guys (and girls) prefer bald pussy. Most girls around 15-16 are already fully grown. It's pretty hard to know what age they have, especially with the tendancy of women to try looking as young as possible, while teenagers trying to look older. There's really no different between someone being attracted to a 15 years old but not doing anything cause she's not interested and being attracted to a 25 years old, but respecting that she said no when asked out. I have to agree! Though it's usually the other way arround. I make sure to give the lady a big nice hug before leaving, to make sure she knows that i really enjoyed our time together and that i care for her more then just sex. Males already have the option of no-string relationship, friends with benefits, open relationship and one-night stand instead of marriage. =P Sure if the guy doesn't get caught, the marriage is "saved". But when they do get caught or admit it, the majority of marriage probably ends. From a monogamous view point, a marriage where one partner secretly have sex outside of it is already a "broken marriage". Many think it's better to divorce or break up then be in a marriage while your partner cheats and they don't know. That's why so many are against prostitution i'm guessing.

Face is important, but i understand most ladies won't post a face pic. In that case, i'm guessing from the blurred face pics or what the body is like and take a chance. Look isn't the most important thing, but it does weight in, i want to be with someone i find attractive.
