That's just stupid. Gay should be allowed to give bloods just like anyone. There's tests done when someone is donating and as long as the blood is good, who cares about the owner's sexual orientation. The 5 years step is little better, but still ridiculous. And how do they know the donator had sex with a guy anyway? Interrogation with a lie-detector?

Lots of good answers! To answer my own questions, me it's about once every 2-3 months. That's as frequent sex as i've ever had and i'm scared i'll become too addicted if i start seeing a lady 2-3 times in a week or even month. And my budget couldn't handle that. =p Lately, i didn't get the time. ( between 4-6 months, i don't remember..) Was busy at work, i'm in Gatineau only the weekends and it's hard to know in advance when i'll be free. There's a negativity to the word cheating, but it's still a very clear definition. The question was really objective. A parallel could be made about lying. If you willingly say something you know is not true, then you're lying. There's also a negativity about the word lying. However, most people would aggree that it's the right thing to do in some case. A doctor telling little kids their mother didn't suffer before dying from cancer. An undercover cop lying to a criminal organisation. Just my POV about the issue of judging/putting a negative label based on that question.

Yes it's cheating. Unless aggreed by the other. If it's not something you received the permission first, would you be okay telling your partner after? If the answer is no, then it's cheating. In a relation between 2 or more people, they are some rules that all must aggree. Even if it's as simple as "no rules". If the people don't aggree to the "rules" either there's no relation or they continue together because that one point is less important then the relation. That's just the definition. (without going if it's right or wrong) If there's an exchange and one of the partie doesn't know all about it, there's deception and it's cheating. No different then putting microscopic fine prints on a contract. Additional Comments: That's more or less how i think. While i think i could very well find someone that satisfy me completly in the "classical" marriage sense, if there's a need somewhere, it should be shared between the SOs.
