  3. on your 2,000-post milestone. Your support of this board and your input is much appreciated. I look forward to more in the future. :) Well done, Emily!
  4. A great forum thread, Daniel17. I hope to contribute more on this later, but I wanted to share this ca. 20 minute documentary that aired on CBC's The Current on Christmas Eve, 2010 that offers up some eye-opening statistics, dispels the myriad of myths about being single - by choice or accident -, and shares the stories of people living the lifestyle by conscious design. Having been single for long periods of my life and now approaching 50, I found this program to be very thought-provoking and validating. A great listen! Single File If the link above doesn't work, just scroll down to Dec. 24, 2010 on this page to find the podcast. http://www.cbc.ca/thecurrent/episode/
  5. Sister Hazel - All For You [eta] Gosh darn it, RG beat me to it! I even refreshed just before posting NP bud, btw did you see this? http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=255199#post255199 I only mention it because it has that fishing theme :)
  6. Very well put, RG. It seems I have already given you enough rep points and I need to learn to spread 'em around more! :-D I recently had the distinct pleasure of meeting this wonderful lady for the first time at an upscale downtown St. John's hotel and found your review here. What you wrote is almost exactly what I would have said myself now. As it was it was my first meeting with her, I was, like you, just a tiny bit on edge, mostly because at the last minute, I found out that the side elevator accessible from street level didn't go up to the regular room floors (only to the conference rooms!) and it had me thinking for a second that I had to go to the front desk! Plus, you know, first impressions... :) All the pre-planning and arranging details were handled perfectly and with complete discretion. We had exchanged communications a few times beforehand and I liked the fact that she felt sufficiently comfortable with me that she even waived the full verification prior to confirming the engagement. (Although I would have come through for her) Finally, and without going into the details of the encounter, she was a great conversationalist, a perfect gfe companion, a classy beauty of distinction and simply a delight to spend time with. I am strongly recommending her and will definitely be repeating! * * * Peace, love and happiness * * * FR P.S. If anyone wishes further info, I am willing to answer respectful inquiries via PM.

  8. OK game on! Helix - Make me do anything you want FR Additional Comments: My apologies! Now that I'm on the same page, the real next song: With over 1.5 million views Nine Inch Nails - Closer (I still like the last song, sticking by it ;) )
  9. Cannot be more persuasive an argument. Well done, Cat!
  10. A big loss for Canada, indeed. He was a great leader, a fighter, and a man of conviction. Irrespective of one's own politics, this man deserves to be revered and remembered for his strength of character, courage, and -not least- his positivity until the very end. Sincere condolences to his wife Olivia, his family and closest friends. He'll be one hard act to follow. Rest in peace, Smiling Jack FR
  11. Excellent points, Megan. I agree with your opening paragraph, indeed with your entire post. Posting information on clients' liaisons publicly without checking with them is not wise for the reasons you mentioned. I for one would expect this discretion, and I would think this true for most people. I thank you for making this point on SP etiquette, it can't hurt to restate it here. It's very reassuring to see that so far all the SPs and others seem to agree wholeheartedly with you in this regard. FR
  12. Apologies to some, but I think it's quite apropos :) The Raes - A little lovin' keeps the doctor away 1978 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YghI4G5OuHQ FR
  13. Great points, Samantha, as well as by everyone. Briefly, I'll add that I've only been here a few days now, testing the waters, and I've come across some great friendly conversational and interesting threads, others in which fun games of some sort are played. So far I have been on the sidelines, consider this my introductory post. How am I doing? :) It's unavoidable that sometimes things get a bit unhinged. Kudos to the admins who keep this place running just about as smoothly as possible. I hope that I will fit in with the fine folks here and make some great friends along the way. I'll show anyone respect if they do the same. Now let's have a good time! FR fu//nzy? :)
