  1. I wanted to pass on another update on Angie's - "Clipboard Guy" is no longer part of the scenery in the in the "private" area. Seems no one was happy with that setup...
  2. Update on Angie's...I was informed by one of the dancers that "clipboard guy" hangs out in the back room Thursdays and Friday evenings only. He is not there other nights, at least not for time being.
  3. I was at Angie's there last weekend and there seems to be a new thing now in the "private" dance area. A dude was sitting in there with a clipboard apparently keeping track of the number of dances each girl is in there for. So, the last tiny shred of privacy in the "private" dance area now seems to be gone.
  4. Angie's is indeed the only game in Moncton as far as strip clubs go. The "private" dance area is anything but private though....
  5. Wow just 2 places left in NB - there used be 10 or 12. Moncton alone had four for a while.
  6. Ah yes, the Bear-N-It-All in Memramcook... (Or was that Bare-N-It-All??) Wow, that was many many moons ago....
  7. "Private" is a relative term here. In the good old days Angie's had walled-in booths with couches and doors, so the dances were indeed private. Now, the "private" dance area at Angie's is one big wide open L-shaped room with small padded benches along the walls with a very small wooden wall between the benches, about the height of your head when you are sitting down. There are no doors or curtains and some benches are back-to back in the middle of the room. The result is you can see what is going on at most of the other benches and other people can see what is going on at yours. Bouncers make rounds too. So, the area is nowhere near as private as I would like. But, that being said, it is the only strip club in Moncton, the girls are good looking and nice and I visit every every so often.
  8. The building in which the North Star bar used to be, was demolished not long after the city bought it, to make way for some new development, condos and such. I will be quite surprised if there is a replacement strip club anytime soon in straight-laced, conservative Fredericton. Fellas have to drive to Moncton or Saint John, or further afield, if they want to partake of live exotic entertainement....
  9. Newbie, there used to be a strip club by the name of Chez Kéta in the Saint-Jacques area, which is now part of Edmundston, I forget the name of the road to get to it (chemin Saint-Joseph maybe??) but the place was literally in the back woods. I don't know if it is still open or not, check the phone book when you get there or do a web search on Chez Kéta. I never went to it though, so cannot comment on it. But, you are very close to the Quebec border in any event so I would recommend you drive a few minutes more, cross the border into Quebec about 15 minutes to Dégelis, there you will find a place called Bar Mon Copain. Pass in front of it (you can see it from route 185 on the right hand side of the road) and take the next exit immediately after, come in the back way. Google maps or your GPS will help you get to it, and Google street view will show you what the place looks like. I have been there a few times, but remember they are on eastern time, one hour behind New Brunswick so the girls show up later. On the plus side they are open until 3 am (4 am Atlantic time). I don't think they are open Sundays or Mondays. My experience is that it is a fairly quiet place during the week, normally 4-6 fairly decent girls, possibly more on the weekend. Dances are $20 a song, but they are reasonably private. Good luck!
