  1. Yes that's disturbing, just the same you have done no wrong and have nothing to fear. The estranged wife will just make a fool of herself in the end as Emily Rushton breaks no laws and even if she did (by the letter of the law) it wouldn't be provable in their jurisdiction :) I do get that this is very disturbing to you and my heart goes out to you of course but dumb men aren't going to smarten up any time soon (add some technology into the mix and oh brother), they are born that way and can not change.
  2. Oh my gosh... Well there must be something more to it Emily as I've never known a nasty email to stop an aircraft and there is something you can do about it -- can't you just ignore it? Certainly if you are so inclined you can write back and tell her it is not your business and to take it up with her husband? I mean really, this has nothing to do with you (or any other lady) and everything to do with him doesn't it? An irate wife that wants to take it out on the lady instead of her husband? I'd be suspicious if it was even for real. And I sure don't mean to belittle the impact of nasty emails, they can take us off guard initially but then they are just letters on a screen and can't hurt you. Men will be dumb and get caught and leave bread crumbs around; they expect (demand) you be discreet and don't pay you the same courtesy, that's the way it will always be I'm afraid.
  3. Feliz cumpleaños de mi amigo. Very kindest regards, BackRubMan
  4. There is one further point to be made here that I don't see as having been mentioned yet... You post a tasteful recommendation without explicit details and then you get numerous PMs from guys saying they are considering seeing the same lady wanting much more explicit details. I sometimes wonder if they are genuine research questions or if they just like to read more explicit details :) Of course I always give them the benefit of the doubt if I can and I try to be helpful. So I sometimes answer their questions with "some" additional detail when I can (when it seems like a genuine research question) but well within certain limits and constraints. So it takes time to respond to these inquiries (some are genuine research and others I am sure are just fishing for juicy erotic details) and then some do ask explicit questions I reserve the right to decline to answer. But there is sometimes the "no good deed goes unpunished" aspect of writing a recommendation that the ladies may not be aware of.
  5. Yeah it would be a nice feature but seems it's not there. I just use Google Docs (same as MS-Word) and even have a pretty good command of the BB code I can use. Of course it auto saves every couple of minutes and then when ready just CTRL-A (select all), CTRL-C (copy) and then CTRL-V (paste) into a PM or post. Of course if embedding your own BB code also good to preview the result and check URLs actually work before hitting "Submit". The big advantage of Google Docs (to me) is I can start writing on one computer and then finish it using a totally different computer in a different city.
  6. I reviewed the previous thread spiraling out of control but it did start off very positive and I think it is necessary to recognize the contributions to the greater good that people make here. Perhaps moderation could be turned on. That slows it down a lot as posts have to wait until the MOD(s) have time to review and approve them and I think if everyone knew up front that all posts were moderated and would be reviewed before posted people would be of better behavior and of course if they didn't well, it just isn't allowed to spiral out of control. I think it's worth a try.
  7. Sometimes it is necessary for a variety of reasons, but I urge anyone that can't take a lady's secrets to their grave to not take possession of such information, it is one of the most sacred forms of trust ever bestowed. I also want to mention (to the benefit of anyone that might not realize it) that this kind of private and confidential information should never be exchanged or stored on CERB (like with use of the PM system). We've seen many web sites run by large companies compromised (Sony, LinkedIn, Yahoo, the list is quite long): Imagine if you will the contents of every PM on CERB (between everyone) out there in the wild and use the PM system like that will someday happen as it could. Even in PMs I refer to the lady by her CERB handle and always sign my messages as BackRubMan even to ladies that "know" my real name.
  8. This lovely lady has been advertising here for some time now as a FS-SP, not an MA. Her recent interest in massage could be due to something like one of her FS clients giving her a nice massage one lovely afternoon :) and perhaps she enjoyed it so much she decided to integrate it into her service offerings?
  9. Well I have to agree with JoyfulC, just sounds like drama. But if that's not the case you don't always involve police only when you have a problem that can be prosecuted and will hold up in court. Often in such a case just having the police speak with the offender is enough to resolve the situation to everyone's satisfaction; most police calls don't result in court cases.
  10. Actually I think it is very relevant in a positive way. The police have to deal with so many domestic disputes and in the absence of bruises or something just as obvious it often difficult for them to unravel who the victim is as each side has a different story entirely. Of course in the case of an SP with a complaint about a client they know she is not just wasting their time because she is crazy and currently mad at her boy friend. An SP will have more credibility and be taken more seriously than anyone else with a similar complaint. That said, this has been discussed here at length (ad nauseum) before in other threads.
  11. Yeah! It just works again and I didn't change a thing so obviously MOD has been working overtime. Well done.
  12. So from my perspective (and of course before I discovered CERB, agencies... well that's a story for another day) as a client is I decide to see Peachy as I've read all her wonderful recommendations and know a fair bit about her from her posts here on CERB and I'm really picking the "Peachy Brand", so if I can still contact her or PM her anytime then that is what I'm going to do, even to make a booking. So she still ends up answering a lot of PMs or emails then her time doesn't really get offloaded by the "agency" so I start to not see the benefit of it. Some elements of what you are describing strike me as a booking agent as opposed to an agency in the typical sense, a different model than most main stream agencies operate under currently. Now maybe someone like a booking agent that finds her additional business, does client screening, accepts electronic payments and some off loading with some value add and promotion, but the agency model of call them and they send who ever is working tonight (and get to deny they have any knowledge that it has anything to do with prostitution), well CERB kind of bypasses that already. Of course such a booking agent (as opposed to agency) I do see the benefit of (to Peachy) but they would probably run into trouble with the law as it still stands until it changes if it changes, were LE isn't too interested in bothering with Peachy who acts alone right now, they might go after her booking agent if they were taking bookings for multiple ladies or living of the avails (no matter how little they charge).
  13. Well I be the first to admit that may be my personal baggage as it relates to this industry. Of course when someone disagrees with your point of view they need not do so in a malicious way. Certain events transpired and conspired to the point I almost left for good also which are only loosely associated with CERB (as they originated there) but there is much that happened outside the realm of CERB also. Sill sitting on the fence. Still wanting to make the world a better place. Still believing I can, I guess when I stop believing that I'll be gone too :)
  14. How much additional to deliver to it to San Felipe de Puerto Plata, República Dominicana? I won't even ask how much as I'm sure your asking price is fair :) But specks on the 'boat" would be helpful :) At the same time, you might end up in the the same circumstance as me, their and never wanting to come back :)
  15. Yeah, perhaps "hostile" is too strong a word in many cases and "intolerant" is a better choice over-all; but at other times it does clearly apply. I think I am clearly coming to the conclusion from this discussion that it is what it is and is difficult to change (or make any better than it is), managed as well as it can be so those that don't like it best just trow in the towel and move on or scale out.
  16. Or how about a free birthday spanking, that doesn't seem to have been mentioned here yet :) There is only one decent, respectable and gentleman like way to obtain a lady's services at a reduced rate and it's only if you know and trust her and she is willing to entertain it - a prepaid retainer arrangement. Yep, prepay your next 5 or 10 visits in advance. I used to have a lady in Toronto on retainer and while it didn't amount to much of an actual discount (a little), it did in a way as free pickups at the airport on her time were included. So if she picked me up at the airport, might as well see her just before I leave town also and get dropped off at the airport. I was very happy with this arrangement (and so was she) and it was convenient. Of course it only worked well as the airline tickets and itinerary along with the schedule was all known well in advance to both and a phone call would be made from the gate when they were calling for boarding so flight delays didn't cause any grief either.
  17. Agreed. However, I always considered that statement to refer specifically to recommendations and not all posts like discussions. In fact applying that to certain topics makes them difficult to discuss fully or properly. That said, I believe it is possible to have incredibly heated and intense debates on a thread as long as we are respectful and don't make it personal. It used to be that way, but lately if you can't win the debate or convince everyone you are right (or it turns out you are proven wrong) then personally attack them seems the order of the day. That is what concerns me greatly. I think we should be able to have an all out (but respectful) argument without the MOD having to step in and close the thread and be dammed if it didn't use to be that way.
  18. Actually I think most people don't. I have noticed a few people seemingly "disappear" without a formal announcement and then when you start to wonder why you haven't seen a post or received a PM from them in so long and look at their profile you realize they have left us. Announced departures aside for a minute I think the "problem" is much bigger than we know until we start digging. That's why I think this thread has merit, not to lament WIT or Spud's departure (a big loss for sure and they will be surely be missed and most members have no idea why) but that can't be changed and everyone that wanted to got a chance to wish them well on other threads. A case in point: I logged into one of the other CERB like boards and there was so much negativity I only went back once or twice and then not since. Here we have (or had - perspective) a community of regular members (for now) that are very knowledgeable and helpful, outstanding in fact by comparison. Something not found elsewhere (or I haven't found it elsewhere).
  19. Oh darn, next time please make it kinky or sexual :) 39.1% now but only because I do agree it is the best!
  20. I hope you won't take offence if I very respectfully disagree. I once got an arm full of medical grade heroin, OMG! Way better than any lady, nothing else in the whole world matters, I want to feel like this (this good) forever! It's like a 12 hour orgasm (and men only usually get one of 10 - 15 seconds). But common sense dictates the second and subsequent dose is the end, the very end. While I have never fell victim to this myself (hopelessly in love with a lady other than my wife) I have witnessed the devastation and destruction it caused one of my friends, God rest his sole. Yes, I'm, definitely back to the heroin, in the last few hours of my life and not before.
  21. I'll really miss Tapatalk if it is gone for good but I realize the mod can only do as much as he can do and it's no reflection on him that this is troublesome from the server side to maintain. Of course trying to access CERB on your phone without tapatalk is like trying to play tennis in a closet :)
  22. A blog is a wonderful insight in to who you are and what you are about. It gives us insight into this and we do read them. Yeah, there is the lady's profile, her photo albums, her recommendations, her web site, but often the blog (if any) seals the deal. Some ladies I have met after following their blog for some time and it's like I know them and they are amazed how well I know them. I say blogging (if you have the time and inclination) is the ultimate way of putting your thoughts, feelings and who you really are out there.
  23. The answer to this problem is so simple it probably doesn't even occur to you. Emotional transference is always a hazard but it really can't truly happen in one visit. Keep in mind that that there are a million women out there that would have a similar effect on you (you just haven't met them yet) so pull the rip cord while you still can and never go back for more. Harsh -- I know, but truly good advice in the end.
  24. I have to echo drlove's sentiment: "an immeasurable loss to the Cerb community.". I know we have had our differences of opinion in the past and they were debated in a highly civilized manner and I learned so much from you and your posts and have tremendous respect for you. I took a few punches lately and in the last few weeks have scaled back my participation a bit - I still refuse to get involved in controversial topics and probably will for a while yet. Of course we have no idea the reasons behind your decision but knowing you as I do from your many posts, they are well considered and well founded and must be respected. I hope you reconsider but at the same time I respect that a man has to do what a man has to do (women also of course). So a heartfelt thank you, merci beaucoup, y muchas gracias señor. Te vamos a extrañar. Espero que cambie de opinión.
  25. Well the only person in my personal life that "knows" is my girlfriend that is also good friends with my wife. Wow life is strange isn't it? Now to call her my girlfriend isn't even right because she is married also and maybe we "get a room" twice a year, always at her request :) Lunch and coffee much more often. Hasn't caused me any trouble in 5 or 6 years of this personal relationship but I think she is "unique": has one of the sexiest blogs out there (what a beautiful mind), wish I could post the URL but of course I can't. Of course I would have told the truth, "meeting with a friend". Just not a "professional" friend, I guess that's a lie by omission in some people's view point. Sometimes I wonder about this... I always tell the truth (but not with unnecessary details).
