  1. The word "sorry" has only 5 letters, come on Victoria, I know you can do it if you try hard enough! Let try: Sssss ooooooooo, no sooooooo, rrrrr rrrr, yyyyyyyy. Practice first, repeat if necessary, you'll get it! In fact write it on the blackboard 500 times and it will come natural after that :)
  2. That's it, I'm convinced! No more waiting around airports for many hours that seem like days for me :) In fact, how about this idea? I'd imagine if the appointment is pre-paid and an appropriate surcharge added for the trouble then no address required: A lovely lady such as yourself could meet and greet me at the airport and return me safely on time.... oh what decadence! In fact it has all kinds of desirable aspects to it. Let's consider a simple international text message sent as I'm boarding my most boring and lengthy flight to let the lady know it's wheels up in a few minutes and then I have 8 or 10 hours in the air to "know" a very special lady will be waiting to whisk me away to a private oasis as an alternative to the deadly, ever so dreaded wait for the next flight... we've all been there, it's way too long of a wait and not long enough to bother getting a hotel room. I can hardly wait!
  3. Thanks so much for the clarification, Cowboy! Then she deserves what she gets and I am off to "buy you a beer" :) and I would encourage anyone else that can find it in their heart to buy Cowboy Kenny a beer also to thank him with real meaning for the great work he does for us. Just visit his diary at: http://www.cowboysdiary.info/ to find out how to do this.
  4. Wow, what a great community! That said and before we go too far with condemnation sometimes someone else does something for a lady including messing with her web site. While it is true that if they were to put some pictures there that weren't her, she would surely know right away but if they wrote (or stole) some text for her without her knowledge of where they got it, well, I always try to at least look for a reasonable explanation. I have written (not stolen) material for ladies on request and even done some editing for ladies I've never met of original material that they wrote, to make it clearer, cleaner, a little whit (I have very little) and reflective of what a client needs to know from the client perspective. Perhaps that is what has happened here and someone she trusted to help her couldn't be trusted or perhaps it is outright theft and should be so strongly condemned. I would encourage the lady to come forward and either admit to it or explain otherwise and certainly take down the stolen text before this gets any worse. It is clear to me that the only way this is going away is if the 'alleged' thief makes it go away. To the 'alleged' thief: Your silence will confirm your guilt.
  5. Agreed. Perhaps you should forward the specific details on to Cowboy Kenny for his blog. This isn't much different than fake or stolen photos, IMHO. http://www.cowboysdiary.info/
  6. Yes, I'm sure it was spectacular but thank you WIT for a spectacular alternative for those of us "under the weather" :)
  7. Yes, after being such a long time member (6 whole years and with so many contributing posts) a statistical anomaly that has now somehow been corrected :) Congratulations! Well deserved.
  8. But then often hotel networks "work for a short period" (if at all) anyways. If you can access it at all then likely nothing is blocked. Sounds more like the hotel network is ill (which is all too often the case) unless everything else but CERB is rock solid dependable.
  9. Yes in fact an excellent thread in many ways. A good friend in Toronto (who I would often visit when much younger) lived around the corner from such a club, I reluctantly but honestly admit it was one of our favorite hangouts. I was always left with the impression that the girls really enjoyed their jobs and made sure we had a good time enjoying admiring some of God's most finest works of art. Even an occasional offer of some extracurricular activity after they were off work would be forthcoming. Tempted? Oh so ever much so, but some how I just knew (not sure how as I was young and foolish) that any flight like that wouldn't have a pleasant or soft landing in the end so I never boarded the aircraft but I admit to coming close and wouldn't judge anyone that did.
  10. Too funny! But yes, exactly what I am trying to avoid (because I know it wasn't funny for you at the time) and with a single residential address your quick thinking save wouldn't work. Well there is a certain cabby from India that is almost without fail waiting in Toronto at 3:00 AM (and if I call him on his cell phone a day or so ahead he'll be there for sure), he is an absolute hoot! Remember it's 3 AM and I just got off an international flight, my next hop isn't until 9 or 10 AM, so we throw the luggage in his cab (too early to check it in) and we go bar hoping (many times), he has a big smile when he sees me as he knows we just going to go kill time and wreck havoc on the city. What?!??! You can't find a bar that is open at 3 or 4 AM in Toronto? Well, no, not legally but yeah, he knows were they are and he's a blast. Of course in this case I only have 3 or 4 hours to kill and it's ok to have a few drinks and hear a few dirty jokes as I'm at least 8 or 10 hours from being anywhere near driving a car. He reminds me of LeeRichards with an Indian accent (who I've never had the pleasure to meet but he is dam funny also). But as funny and fun as he is I'd rather see a lady :) and have a shower. Point is I've run into the same cabby a number of times so much so that some of them are friends. Even the flight attendants used to know me by name and be curious were my final destination was today :) But of course you are very right, we just have to relax the usual requirements or protocol, which the SP should be more than willing to do if I prepay?
  11. That's all very understandable and wise but brings up a nagging question to me (any question I don't know the answer to is a "nagging" one to me I guess). Sometimes I have found myself in a city with a little (or a lot of) time to spare and I have to highly limit my choices to out call (and even extend my stay at the hotel to accommodate) when there are available in call ladies with a better reputation (no, not reputation, lets just say reviews and other information that are more to my personal tastes and liking) that have to be stricken from the list of possibilities as I understand this requirement and have no idea how to accomplish it discreetly when traveling to see her in a taxi. Many years ago (when I was in high school actually) I used to drive taxi part time and we knew the addresses, (sometimes the fare didn't and we'd stop at a payphone and call ahead and see if we could make the arrangements for him) but it was not a large city at all. Some cities I am really familiar with and have no problem renting a car (but if it's only for this purpose it's a bit of a hassle), other ones I haven't driven around in enough to be comfortable with that. In any event, do you have a protocol to be able to accommodate a car less visitor to your in call location? Here is a specific example that comes up quite often for me: I'm leaving Vancouver on a long haul flight that isn't available until 9 or 10 PM this evening but it's around noon and I just checked out of my hotel (or am about to). So I usually end up sitting around the airport for many hours (that seem like days). Oh, to visit SamanthaEvans and spend those many otherwise wasted hours with someone as wonderful as her, what a much better idea and I'll bet she has nice shower facilities available to freshen up when I get there and then again before my long journey too! Often I even know days ahead of time I'm going to be in airport hell for so many hours. One concern is that even if I have the complete address before I begin my journey, the taxi driver may "know" the address :) So your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to get me discreetly to your in call location luggage in tow and then back out to the airport in time to catch the red eye. We may "dine", watch a good movie or just hang out but it sure seems a lot more appealing than waiting for what seems like endless hours around an airport, oh how I hate that.
  12. I think retainer arrangements are great for those that are comfortable with them. That said, pay as you go is my way to go and that said I do get the point and don't like handling cash. My crazy, insane, nutty policy (which has yet to let me down) is I'm going to pay in full if I haven't cancelled 72 hours prior to a confirmed appointment so at any point within that 72 hour window it's just too convenient to e-mail Interac the funds and take paying out of the picture. I find this a far better way indeed than handling cash.
  13. Well we all know that everyone is different and has different activities they enjoy more than others. Sensitivity (among many other things) varies from person to person. I think this applies to both genders but certainly more so (in general) to women. But anyone truly in touch with their own sexuality and given a balance of experience, knows what these little "secrets" about them self are and that no two people are exactly the same. What bewilders me sometimes is why we keep them a secret from a new partner (SP, client or otherwise) and expect them to be discovered by accident, well perhaps not by accident but certainly discovered as opposed to disclosed. So in a recent, very pleasantly surprising experience a most wonderful lady was kind enough to tell me her secrets before (not during) and I was also quick to disclose mine. While some might see this as taking the fun of discovery out of it, I can assure you that it was a lot more fun than I've had in a while. And whatever her little secrets were (I never kiss and tell), it is something that might only be discovered after several visits had I not been told. Actually one of my secrets took several years for me to discover about myself (well, actually a lady discovered it for me quite by accident), so just how could I expect her to know something like that about me that for years I did not know about myself without telling her? The result was something that was great and very much more special :)
  14. And oddly there is a defect in the reputation mechanism as after so many years and so many posts, it does not yet say you have achieved God status. So how about it folks, will you join me in giving spud271 some reputation points for his long time membership and contributions? I'm going to give him some right now and hope I push him over the edge :)
  15. An absolutely awesome and most pleasant afternoon spent with a most wonderful CERB lady. Just what I needed to escape the income tax blues and put that behind me. Muchas gracias señorita! Justo lo que necesitaba!
  16. Yes, I have thought the same thing myself. Train service in other counties (particularly Europe) puts ours to shame, always has, seems it always will. I think there are a couple of factors here. One is that Canada is a VERY large country that is sparsely populated (compared to Europe) and we don't have tracks going in all directions like they do so you have to resort to trucking and when you do, well you might as well resort to trucking. To see this look at a map that shows were there are train tracks in Europe and then in Canada, quite a difference. Another is that everything happens these days in "Internet" time or in the case of the delivery of goods JIT (Just in time) and the railways have always been really good at taking their sweet old time (to the tune of months). If you have to ship 95% by trucking it and can do the other 5% by rail (with the delays and mixture inconvenience), well, why bother? And it's one of those self fulfilling prophecy's, if we used the rails as much as we possibly could it would cost less to do so and we would use it even more but because we don't use it, it costs a lot of maintain those tracks for the volume of goods that travels over them making it cost about the same as trucking it. So given it costs much the same as trucking it, why bother with the slow speed, singular direction and inflexibility of rails? I agree with your environmental concerns and attitudes completely, but most businesses couldn't care less about the environment if it costs more and it can cost more just by being slower and less flexible.
  17. Oh that brings back some fond memories. Back when I was telephone guru almighty I did set up a queue at work just for unsolicited telemarketers. I'll tell them "oh, I know just who you need to speak to, one moment I'll transfer you." (both phrases were the truth of course but neither necessarily connected), then I'd sent them to the telemarketing hell queue, 4666 was the pilot number, it would just play music forever with the occasional "Your call is important, please remain on the line and your call will be answered in sequence" and then back to music, but there was no end point :) Well in all fairness to me and being naughty their call was important (to them, not us) and it would be answered in sequence (if only there was one). Has anyone had their home phone go quiet because of the DO NOT CALL list? Personally I find that it seems to increase telemarketing calls in the period of time they have to comply and then you still get lots of calls from outside of Canada were they can't be bound or compelled to comply.
  18. Well nice you got to waste some of their time. A friend of mine had one try to help him to get to their stupid web site for at least 30 minutes a couple of months ago. Seems he was just too dumb to be able to get their software installed... perhaps it was the virus, yeah, that must be it -- it was the virus that they were calling him about preventing him from getting to their site so he couldn't install their software so they could help him out. Unfortunately (for him) it seems your approach was probably a better way to handle it as he did have a bit of trouble getting rid of them calling him back repeatedly "wanting to help". You would think they would get the message when it's eat my voice mail for the 20th time or have a blast from the fax machine but nope, they were persistent but eventually went away and left him alone. There is some danger in scam baiting in that you are dealing with unscrupulous criminals. We've all gotten those spam messages from an alleged "official" representing a foreign government or agency with an offer to transfer millions of dollars. Some people have taken to fighting back by intentionally wasting their time and some of it is documented for the record at: http://www.419eater.com/html/letters.htm which can provide hours of amusement (reading through the letters and stories there) if you are bored and need a good laugh.
  19. Yes I think we all know the ladies make great dates for social only situations (without the disclaimer), but of course it doesn't matter if you are a paid companion for a social only occasion or flipping burgers at McDonalds in Dust Bowl, Oklahoma, gainful employment of any kind in the US is still prohibited unless you have a work visa or green card.
  20. Finally finishing doing my income tax only to find that I have to pay CRA a lot more money before the end of today or pay a big fine. I know, I know, I won't get much sympathy, a problem lots of people would love to have but trust me when I tell you if you knew how much it is, you'd say WTF!!??!! Like we really need those F-35 jets anyways....
  21. Good point. Oh course having run out of pages in my passport, the only Country that has denied me entry (temporarily) was my own country, Canada. But I think there is danger lurking in this facial recognition stuff. I doubt the border guards are surfing the web for SPs, except perhaps for their own personal purposes :)
  22. Excellent point. I have noticed that some people are a little too "secret agent" about the whole process. It's true, an SP should never call when it's not expected, tantamount to an unexpected PM saying "Hey baby, want a date?" which isn't allowed here (unless you contacted them first asking for one). But I guess if you want to play "spy vs. spy", a burner cell phone (like pay as you go) is a small price to pay. I just give them my main cell phone number and it was only one "newbie" SP that sent me a text at the wrong time, no big deal. I get text messages and phone calls from time to time from wrong numbers, we all do, don't we? To me, less risky then having to explain a burner phone if it was discovered. So I get a text message from an SP while sitting in a restaurant with my wife and answer back "no privacy, text u later" and she said "who was that and what was that about?" So I just answer the question with a question "Do you know anyone named George?" and we go back to what we were talking about :)
  23. Yes, I think you ask a very good question. You could always use one of the many services that allow you to fake the caller ID (from a pay phone) to some "big bank institution" where you might work (but don't) and the ladies would happily answer the no longer blocked calls. It bothers me that you would have to use deceit like this to gain trust though. This is so true. Just because a number (or even name) comes up it doesn't mean anything, and if it's a burner cell phone you picked up at any store with a prepaid card there is really no way to trace it back to you even if you turned out to be Jack the Ripper. But what it amounts to is that 99% of the caller id information that does come up on the ladies phone is legitimate so they have come to rely on it it, perhaps too much so. I just use my cell phone which always comes up blocked automatically unless I dial *31# before the number and than that unblocks the number for that call only. I also don't mind giving out my office numbers and they can always leave a voice mail. Even though it is my personal cell phone and always with me, I have never gotten an unwelcome or unexpected call from a lady at the wrong time, they seem to be pretty keen not to do this. I did get one unwelcome text message and I just text-ed back and said, sorry, no privacy now, text you later. I stated a thread on anonymity a while back and I came to the conclusion it was safe to be completely non-anonymous but my circumstances may differ from yours. Depending on your circumstances you will probably have to get a burner cell phone as the usual protocol is to call the lady when in the area just before an appointment to get her room number or address.
  24. Oh I get that, thank you! If she declares the purpose of her visit is "to engage in prostitution" then we have a person that is declaring that they intentionally intend to violate US law. But unless that is clearly her stated intention (or by extension has previous demonstrated a lack of compliance with US law by being convicted in the US within last 10 years)... I still don't get how a meaningless disclaimer on her web site could make border crossing less troublesome.
