I really like the part about paying cash outright. I did this the last time I purchased a vehicle and oh what a great feeling, no payments and you do save in the long run not paying interest. Of course you still have to keep the truck licensed, insured and road worthy (repairs, etc.) so if you buy a car to save gas will you really save as much gas as all of that will cost? Not knowing how many miles it is from and to work as well as all the other details, I can't do the math for you... but you should be able to do the math on this one easily and figure out what is more cost effective. I guess it comes down to if you need to buy a whole car to save gas and still repair the old truck, maybe you just need a new truck (so the expenses from the old one go away). Insurance, repairs on the old truck plus buying a car and insurance on that also ... anyways, I'm not sure the savings in gas (with a car) will make up for it. The math will give you your answer. Of course don't buy a NEW truck (unless you are really rich), just a really good used one with lots of warranty left. One that someone has already lost 5 or 6 thousand dollars on the second they drove it off the lot new. Hope that helps.

Yes and the "wild claims" are all true in some cases but the media has no interest fully researching it and getting it exactly right -- just has to be sensational news. Leave out the less sensational or even positive side of the story even if you know about it. It's important to realize that the world is changing, even CERB and all the great people here have changed this world for the better -- and while some of the really bad, sensational news making elements of this still exist, CERB helps to bring that to an end - no doubt in my mind. Interesting point. Kind of like the phrase "half the world's population has never made a phone call" which was possibly true in 1995 when it was first said but it is still used even today and is no longer true. In the third world (you did say "International study") I expect the statement while still greatly exaggerated to be closer to the truth.

What kind of low life? -- It's almost tantamount to rape. Consent and services rendered was contingent on compensation, without compensation there would not have been consent. I don't understand why payment would be deferred. The client should be required to pay first. Can always tip later. I think the flowers and "little extra" show you are a true gentleman, I know I would have done the same. She won't forget you for doing that which you didn't have to do and you immediately showed her that not all men are pigs like the one before you. Well done! Congratulations.

I agree and this thread should end right here. Aside from being repugnant and in very poor taste it is IMO a violation of the RULES. I'm not going insult anyone or try to make a point that hasn't already been made except to ask all sensible people to let this thread die right here and now. It shouldn't need to be debated and has taken a wrong turn.

It's cyberspace so ignore him (beyond the steps you have already taken). As long as you aren't worried about this person showing up in the real world you are untouchable. And if they do give you any real world trouble it's a police matter.

That's very disturbing to me, doesn't anyone else think so also? I would expect more discretion, no, actually I expect absolute discretion, is that asking too much? Aside from a simple reference check, two SPs comparing notes about your sexual performance is not being discreet, in particular if it "got back to you" that is very indiscreet! An experienced SP once told me that while she does "enjoy" her job very much from time to time, she has no expectations that WILL be the case in every instance. I can truthfully say I'm not nervous in the least but my approach is what some would probably think entirely crazy; I have a 3 hour minimum rule, usually 4 and if I'm not enjoying myself I have every intention of leaving early (no refund expected) as the last thing I want to do is have some lady be doing something she would rather not be -- if the chemistry clearly is absolutely not there I'm not interested either. I always make it clear that I am not one to touch unless I am invited to, not one to undress unless I am asked to, encouraged or even outright aggressively assisted and that I'm just way too much of a gentleman that needs to to have that explained to him very clearly when I err on the side of caution. Oddly, the chemistry seems to always be there after an hour or two of getting to know someone and I haven't had to leave early yet, but I know I wouldn't hesitate to if I felt I was imposing in any way. Any kind of "forced" experience is not worth having, at least that's the way I feel about it. So not planning anything, just enjoying the company of a pretty lady and going along for the ride takes all the anxiety out of it -- for me at least. And the truth be told I have run into a girl that I thought was young enough to be my daughter (still of "legal" age of course) so I enjoyed her company but did not allow any intimacy as it wouldn't have felt right to me but the experience was just as nice. I know I disappointed her (she told me so) but she was compensated so there were no hard feelings and I don't feel "obligated" to perform when I don't feel like it. Why should I?

It's a lot more than 80 million. Remember the gun registry that ended up costing thousands of times the amount originally suggested, oh wait, we just gave up on that didn't we? Billions down the drain, guess it wasn't a good idea to start with, just like this one. I've so enjoyed and learned that Canadians do have more of a sense of humor than I gave them credit for. The passive aggressive twitter feed #TellVicEverything provided me with quite literally hours of amusement. Here are some key points to keep in mind: It will cost a lot. It's a majority Government so they can and will pass it if they want to. There will be innocent people accused and prosecuted - already happened to someone I know, he is innocent (this I "know" to be true) was was found guilty anyways by an elderly Judge that didn't understand the evidence. It eventually won't withstand a Supreme Court challenge. There are lots of ways around it to have secure communications that can't be intercepted; yes, my IP address, name, address and every bit of Internet traffic but all they'll see is gibberish (a simple VPN tunnel to off-shore where the end point is outside of Canada). The minister should resign for calling everyone that dares question him a child pornographer and for tabling a bill he himself didn't even read as well as a long list of other reasons, once he is subject to this much ridicule the best thing he can do is step down. Yeah, I noticed too how the name of it changed so quickly also but most Canadians were smart enough to see through this.

I can't understand why you want to take the chance when there is so much to choose from here with such wonderfully positive reviews. Particularly if there are multiple ladies using the same name, even if someone says, "yeah, she's great" are we really talking about the same person?

SP for younger first timer?
backrubman replied to Jay201212122011's topic in Escort Discussion for Winnipeg
Some SPs do specifically advertise that they are especially good with first time clients. I think what is way more important is to be honest and tell the SP during initial contact when setting up an appointment that this is going to be your first time! A good SP might then ask some additional questions to learn exactly what your expectations are and will ensure they are able to completely accommodate them. I would also highly recommend doing a lot of research and reading reviews before making a selection but once you think you have found someone to your liking, a longer, non rushed appointment is probably in order. It's well worth the extra investment as it's not likely something you will ever forget :) An SP that has been around longer is better of course as they will have a lot more experience with first timers then someone just starting and will probably understand what you might be going though more than you do yourself :) I'm not the least bit nervous of flying but I have observed passengers that have self identified to the flight attendant that they are really nervous and the flight attendant then checks on them periodically and much more often and does everything they can do to make the flight as comfortable and enjoyable as they can for the nervous passenger. I expect that most SPs would appreciate knowing and then even be more sensitive to ensure you are enjoying your flight. Hope you do enjoy your flight. -
And it is a "North American" problem that will change slowly in the fullness of time. In many counties, working girls are just that and not viewed any different than any girl that works at any job and their customers are not looked down upon either. I haven't done it, but I've been there and seen it for myself many times; in many counties asking the hotel front desk staff for directions to the nearest brothel would raise no more eyebrows than if you asked them were the nearest store was to buy a pack of cigarettes. Often (routinely) the concierge at the hotel in these countries has asked me if I'd like them to arrange company for the evening as casually as they ask if I want them to summon a taxi for me. The brothels in Vienna are under capacity at this time so they are helping the homeless as the weather is so cold. http://austriantimes.at/news/General_News/2012-02-09/39376/Brothel_for_the_homeless_in_Vienna The "North American" attitudes will go away and change as surely as racial segregation did but like that did, it will take time but just as sure to happen. Eventually people will have more enlightened attitudes. Pretty backwards to me, the worlds oldest profession isn't going away, ever (thanks goodness) and CERB brings us a step closer; without criticizing anyone CERB puts those that would continue to give the "biz" a bad name out of business.

I think I might - a general state of ignorance mostly. Most Canadians think prostitution is illegal, but prostitution is not now, and has never been, illegal in Canada, I think that comes from watching too much American television where it is illegal in most states. The existing prostitution laws in Canada attempt only to control the perceived nuisance of girls hanging around a street corner bothering every passer-by. I once spoke to a girl that had spent two whole years in jail because she propositioned a police officer, of course that was in the US and cruel and unusual punishment as far as I am concerned. Other Canadian laws concentrate on under-age prostitution or forcing someone into this which all should condemn. So the unfortunate reality is that most people I know (who are not in the know) would wrongfully consider it illegal activity (only because they are so poorly informed). Then there are the wives that won't but yet they fear you will, certainly can't get their vote of approval. And finally the religious types, can't get their "public" vote of approval either although you know many of them as they are your clients. The attitudes in many countries in Europe and other parts of the world are very different from North America. Expect attitudes to improve here in the future but ever so slowly. I for one couldn't have more respect, admiration and gratitude for those that choose (by their choice) to be in the "biz". But compared to the "general public" (all informed CERB members excluded of course) I suppose I am the exception.

I can see both sides of this and she just simply wouldn't be the girl for me and probably isn't the girl for you (but could have delivered her message in a much more polite way). I prefer 4 or 5 hours as I can't (or rather don't want to) connect with someone in any intimate way if there isn't at least the start of a friendship (a purely professional one of course) and a lot of familiarly, just not comfortable doing so. So at the risk of booking 4 or 5 hours with someone that maybe I don't connect with well at all, I wouldn't take that risk. The service provider is screening but she should not forget that her potential clients are doing the same, ensuring that she is what they are looking for. If she's too busy to answer your questions, maybe she's too busy to even pay attention during your appointment :)

Bad Life decision to join cerb
backrubman replied to dunn2010's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
As a relatively new member of CERB I can't believe just how wonderful a resource it is in so many ways, I'm still in awe. So many kind, friendly and helpful people in one place. My wife is disabled and often encourages me to "see someone" or "get a girlfriend", Isn't that sweet? I think so but to take her advice means possibly breaking an innocent girl's heart someday as I will never leave my wife, it also means spending less time with the woman I really love and making her feel more inadequate than she already does. A resource like CERB makes life better for everyone, the service providers and their clients. To blame CERB: "ruined his life by participating on this forum" is like blaming every injury from car accidents on Henry Ford. -
Well I feel a lot better about this since it turned in to such a fiasco and has gone viral. I was more worried at first because Canadians tend to be much more pacifist than their American cousins, so if you can sneak something like the Patriot Act into law in the US (by fear mongering) I perhaps wrongly worried that Canadians might be vulnerable to this as well. But now Public Safety Minister Vic Toews has been given a taste of his own medicine with all the gory details of his divorce having been made public (Yeah, Vic this is what it's like to have no privacy :) and of course the #TellVicEverything twitter fiasco is, well, just simply hilarious. This twitter feed is worth watching, many of the tweets have me RAFLMAO. This just gets stranger by the minute; now the Honourable Minister Vic Toews has admitted to not being familiar with some portions of C-30 (hasn't read it), wow.

You are so right! Having been over seas many times in the last year (and obviously having to come home, back to Canada at some point), I know they are really unwelcoming to say the least (quite an understatement actually). Surely it doesn't make citizens of other Counties feel welcome or want to come back. I always dread this even though there is nothing for them to find. Many years ago (circa 1984), I did have a run in with them as they wanted to do a cavity search and I lawyer-ed up, missed my connecting flight but made them eat humble pie in the end. While I was young, daring and foolish back then, I doubt the eventual outcome would be the same today, post 9/11. In fact any hint of resistance probably gets you zapped with a tazer these days.

If it becomes law there is no question with untethered access to all internet traffic without the need for a warrant you can't help but catch a few dumb people exchanging child pornography and then when they inevitably do they will pat themselves on the back and tell us how necessary this was saying, "see, we told you we needed this and would only use it to do good". And it's also true that when you cast such a very big net you are going to catch anything, even people that are in reality innocent. But no worries there, they are all innocent until proven guilty, right? Oh, wait that's US thing, this is Canada, yeah it's the other way around, guilty until proven innocent here. Here is something for everyone to keep in mind: Protect your wireless networks (with or without this law). In my neighborhood I can connect to 10 or 15 unprotected wireless networks around me. It might be wireless but all traffic is going to "look" like it came from your house :) So if I was up to no good, it's my neighbor that gets his door kicked in, his computer confiscated and gets arrested. And of course it's not just me but that guy sitting in his car a little ways down the street... what's he up to? Or with the right antenna, someone a mile or more away.

And if it gets through Parliament and comes into full force and effect, I can't see how it will survive the inevitable court challenge (a Charter violation) but then stranger things have happened. After all the Patriot Act is completely incompatible with the Constitution of the United States yet it survives (and is routinely abused) with even the President of the United States admits they arbitrarily eavesdrop on telephone calls without a warrant. And then there is Guantánamo Bay, Obama promised to close it within a year of taking office (nope, not done it yet). In fact, I don't understand why Obama hasn't been charged with the murder of Bin Laden. They admit he was unarmed and offered no resistance and on his orders he was murdered. While I admit the world is a better place without him, I don't think any thing justifies murder and we all know there are hundreds willing to and that have already taken his place. So many have given their lives to protect our freedoms, surely they will turn over in their graves if this comes into effect. I'm all for getting rid of kiddie porn but unfortunately only the stupid ones get caught and this Bill C-30 won't change that. Will our MPs be fooled into thinking this kind of thing is a good idea like the American politicians were? Likely.

I concur. Once I was in Ottawa with much the same problem, I somehow ended up chatting online with Mz. Samantha who asked what she could do for me. Honesty is the best policy and I told her but wasn't interested in a happy ending other than not bleeding, that's happy enough. She mentioned that she had previous hair dressing experience and seemed to think this was a neat idea (excuse the pun) and she was there in a flash, did a perfect job and I am forever grateful to her. Later I noted that she was now advertising this service, I know it wasn't there when she helped me so it put a smile on my face. This is a service that any service provider should consider providing if they feel up to it (and advertising as such).

Maraena Blackwell (Aka Penelope & Angel Starr)
backrubman replied to jackdill's topic in Nova Scotia Recommendations
During Penelope's recent visit to Sydney I enjoyed the supreme pleasure of her companionship for several hours. Having read all her other reviews, I find that they are pretty accurate in "facts" but I think they mostly miss what I will attempt to describe here. This is one very classy lady, definitely top shelf in every way. So much so it is even difficult to do her justice, but I shall try. It very much reminds me of many years ago when I first visited the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam. I walked around the Museum in awe as I had no previous appreciation for fine art before that but the incredible beauty of these original masterpieces by Rembrandt took my breath away. Almost in an instant I understood what art was all about. That visit the Rijks Museum and the tears that rolled down my cheeks as I was so touched with emotion by the incredible beauty of this man's work who was long since dead was a life changing experience. Spending an afternoon with Penelope is quite similarly a life changing experience (and you don't have to fly to Europe). Take the time to get to know her as I did and you won't be disappointed. Most of all treat her with the utmost courtesy and respect she deserves, in so doing, and with regard to her fee, God swiftly paid me back with interest, even before our visit had come to an end. So I guess what I am trying to say is that Penelope is like rare art. A national treasure, priceless and to be treated with the only utmost care and attention and most of all she is definitely one of a kind. Impossible to adequately describe in words, you must meet her in person to fully understand. I am willing to answer any specific questions (but reserve the right not to if your question is too personal or considered by me alone to be inappropriate), just PM me. -
Best Vacation places
backrubman replied to Emma Alexandra's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My favorite is Riu in República Dominicana. No doubt about it, DR is a very special country. When compared to Mexico, Jamaica or many other Caribbean choices it is safer, cheaper and even nicer. If you go to Punta Cana then you are in the middle of the jungle with a bunch of large resorts around, surrounded by small villages of people who work at the resorts so I prefer Puerto Plata (the beaches are not quite as nice but very very close) and there is so much more to see and do off the resort. I just came back from 3 weeks there (spent Christmas and New Years) for the 6th time. It's only 3h45m from Halifax or 4h from Toronto to go from -27 to +27. I couldn't have stayed at the flea-bag hotel down the street from my home for 3 weeks at as good a price and that includes airfare. If anyone is seriously considering it, I almost live there so can provide all kinds of local knowledge, just PM me. -
How do you feel about bdsm?
backrubman replied to Malika Fantasy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Well no harm will come to you from a little harmless experimentation. If you are "interested" then go for it. If you are a tiger in the boardroom then you would probably be in heaven to get you behind reddened in the bedroom. Strange but true. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk -
Actually as strange as it may be, my dates with an SP are never about sex :) Oh sure that can happen but it is never my ultimate or only goal so when it does it's always more meaningful as it was really never "expected" or required. I know it is a radical concept and even a dangerous approach with someone less experienced as they know not what else to do :) Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk

How do you feel about bdsm?
backrubman replied to Malika Fantasy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
There is never any harm in a little BSDM spice. While I wouldn't consider a heavy scene with an SP (unless I had seen them many times had complete trust and was in the mood), Just a little "something" can be so naughty and harmless fun if and only if the SP is to completely on side (e.g. what man doesn't appreciate a little light face sitting :) Don't knock it until you try it :) Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk -
Actually why not pay $5/month (a small price to pay) and have access to Google Apps. Some of the advantages (to many to mention them all): 25 GB of storage (even if you are a heavy email user you can keep everything) and have the power of Google search on all your email no matter how old or disorganized. If you have your own domain, it can be pointed at Gmail/Google Apps so messages come from and to your domain (not gmail.com) and you can even upload all your existing messages if using Outlook now. Works perfectly with Blackberry, iPhone and of course Android. A little trickier to set up right on Blackberry (contact me for details if you are interested) but then you have all the advantages of a corporate implementation of Blackberry without the costs (email, calendar and contact sync) so when you read or delete a message (on your mobile) it shows up in Gmail as read/deleted. Also send items is sync'd, wow, a permanent record of everything. Accessible from anywhere, it's also the most secure... you can set up two factor authentication with Google Authenticator. So every time you use a random computer to check your email no worries about key stroke loggers or anything else as the password will be unique for that session only (asks to re authenticate only once every 30 days on your own computer if you tell it to). For an SP that wants security and the ability to see everything in a millisecond that might have been exchanged with a client in the past, I can't imagine a better or more versatile email solution. And then there is the calendar and contacts sync. Just put an appointment in your gmail calendar and it magically shows up on your mobile device. PM me with any specific questions, I'm a convert for sure.
