  1. Rogers treats me pretty good, if pricey. I'm one of the brave few windows phone guys. The upcoming ATIV line from Samsung and the Nokia 920 look awesome and I plan on the upgrade when they come out.
  2. For those using LinkedIn, news around town indicated about 6 million account details were hacked and pushed out through a few websites from an original Russian source. If anyone uses the same log in info on Linked In and other sites, it might be a good precaution to change you passwords up. http://www.pcworld.com/article/257045/update_linkedin_confirms_account_passwords_hacked.html
  3. It's not just Facebook (ahem...data mining company). Google is at much, if not more at fault (another data mining company). With their new "privacy policy", they give information all over the place. That's why I avoid g-mail and Google+ like the plague and use either my own servers for work e-mails, or just hotmail for personal use. I know the naysayers say that microsoft sucks, but as a software company, they do not need to peddle your personal information around to make money...for Google, it's a requirement. If you're observant, you'll notice things that you talk about in your e-mails will sometimes appear ever so coincidentally in the side bar advertizing of websites you go to, even though your e-mails are private....aren't they? Twitter is another bad apple for privacy, and they sold off about 250 billion tweets and profiles the other month to a data aggregator. Not the end of the world, but treat everything you put onto a social media site as public fodder, even if your security settings are maxed out as there is usually a work around.
  4. The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has a handy and quick tool to check your computer for infection at the following site: http://dns-ok.ca/ Also has removal info in collaboration with Public Safety's Cyber arm.

    Wow, you're stunning!
  6. Emma, wow, you're simply amazing!
  7. Peachy, I find that people who try to highlight their education or test people tend to miss the point about education. If someone needs to rely on a degree or some lettering behind their name to prove something, they're probably lacking in some department. What is learned in university these days tends to assist in your ability to grasp new information and use it, not teach you the definitive answer to all of lifes questions. This can also be learned through life experience, and can be learned better that way my most pepople. People who rely on a degree miss this point and think it makes them smart...and sadly the opposite it usually true for these types. Unfortunately, where I work is very degree oriented and people whose IQ wouldn't break the century mark strut around with dual masters or PhDs like a peacock tail while denigrating those without. I have a university education and prefer the company of those who have learned life lessons, not necessarily stats 101; they're more intelligent and actually know things through experience. Be proud of your life experience, you're better for it. Additional Comments: I am, however, horrified at my typos:D
  8. Wow, Yzabelle, you're gorgeous!!

    Wow, rockin' curves!
  10. Hi all, heading to Pigales this Friday afternoon for the first time. Heard good things about it. Any recommendations for CR?
  11. I agree with Roamingguy and Gabriella 100%. Anyone who can condone this is F*****. Animals have no ability to present their wishes as is implied below, and need to be protected by society. A plus though is that the piece of s*** in the story is going to find out about non-consensual sex shortly though when he goes to jail, which is something as least!
  12. I had it done (PRK) about 12 years ago now. Worked great, and I had pretty weak vision before. Totally happy with the procedure.

Wow, Incredible legs:D You are definitely smokin' ;)
  14. Plants Versus Zombies...its like crack Iron Wallet for Windows phone for my 80 passwords that I can't get down to a reasonable number.
  15. Hmmm, I forgot my handle...Red Baby Jones...I like it!
  16. Name the time and place and I'm yours...sigh;)

    Definitely looking amazing Saddie. Wow!
  18. Add bacon bits to that Julie and I'm with you...or really bacon bits to anything...I guess bacon is the guilty pleasure, lol.
  19. It sounds like it may also be a chain mail malware you've uploaded. That is, the original message may have been waiting for you to click on it then add your account to it's growing list, and is now using your account to spread (likely an automated hack). I would take your computer offline and run your anti-virus software while it is protected from the net and remove anything if you find it as you may have some kind of virus. If it is only your e-mail that is compromised, try resetting through you e-mail proider (I know you are waiting for a response), and if not, the best bet would be to cut and run and start up a new e-mail. Once it's been hacked, unless you really need it to stay the same, it is a fairly difficult process to regain control. Sorry for the problems and I hope you can get it fixed.
  20. I used to be a BB fan, but when I saw how other people could actually do things like web browse ( and one particularly frustrating attempt to use a map online), I chucked it out the window. Picked up a Samsung Focus using Windows Mango and love it. Seemless integration with skydrive, hotmail and office 360 (for business nerds like myself) make it awesome. Plus upcoming Windows 8 will bring your desktop direct to your phone (or so they claim at least). Definitely recommend!
  21. That's awesome, if they get the green chick from Star Trek chick or Princess Leia in the bikini I'm there, lol!
  22. Thanks again to all for the welcome, and definitely looking forward to the next social, sounds like they're a great time!
  23. Black Condor was one of the lamest... http://www.avclub.com/chicago/articles/up-up-and-in-or-out-chicago-comics-worstdressed-su,35094/ But Power Girl made up for it in my formative years:D http://www.mycomicnetwork.com/v2/gallery/2010/11/24/power-girl-13/
