Turn-offs for a lady
squirtingmilf replied to Exotic Touch Danielle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I'm eating supper, if a client calls for an appointment and I say I'm going to eat supper or am eating supper .. WHY oh why do clients feel the need to keep texting even though I give them a time frame of when I will be done? This applies to anything really .. I'm doing SOMETHING, please stop texting until I'm done.. then the quicker I'm finished! -
It's not quite supper time here yet, but right now I'm munching on some smoked gouda and garlic coil (reminds me of my Nona feeding me it when I was younger) .. and drinking a glass of red wine. I LOVE this thread, I'm such a foodie, but 95% of my diet is ALWAYS non gmo, non processed foods. I read labels like crazy and maybe every 6 months to a year, I'll eat fast food, other than that I do my best to try and support local farmers, local butchers etc. I think it's important to do that vs corporate pigs who could care less about us as "humanity".

Need Explanation Of New Laws........
squirtingmilf replied to daytonaxo's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
The taking out for a date question (board isn't working properly on my end); You can still be questioned about your "relationship" though and if said officer or whomever doesn't like your answer, you can still get into trouble. I don't know what officers would actually enforce that aspect of the bill, but considering some officers are complete "asshats" as I like to call them, I could see some abusing that little bit of the new law just to be jerks. If you happen to run into some power happy officer, all bets are off imho. -
I have ads on bp, lot's of ladies do and sure there is bait and switch, just like there is on any other site. Some ladies will only advertise on review boards or cerb and that's fine, but since I don't partake on review boards (5% of my income comes from review boards) I advertise on bp. Do your research, google phone numbers and if the lady is not established, don't risk it.

Turn-offs for a lady
squirtingmilf replied to Exotic Touch Danielle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My turn off's are pretty similar to a lot already posted here, but the babe, hun, sweetie, sexy stuff, really gets under my skin, the "what's up" or sup? Seriously? And the self entitlement of they should be able to see me, because they're paying for it ... umm yeah I don't think so. On Monday in Vancouver, some guy asked me my weight and for some reason couldn't clue in that I told him it was a rude question to ask. My ads/web site specifically state that I'm curvy and voluptuous, not a bbw. He kept going on and on that I had some childhood mental problems because I wouldn't tell him my weight lol .. And I should listen to him because he's a client .. yeah I don't think so lol And then got more enraged because I didn't want to see him .. what could I possibly find attractive about someone giving me attitude and feeling a sense of entitlement in being able to see me? "I can help you run your business better" .. umm no you can't, I've been in this industry for almost 30 years, I think I've got it figured out by now lol. -
Seeking legal advice

Ok, first of all, no reputable lady in her right mind is going to throw you under the bus, word would spread quickly and that would be the end of her career. I used to work with young female ladies and talk to them about gang violence, so let's just say I've been to criminal court more times than I'd care to admit to (not for me lol) .. I've also been working in this industry for a lot of years and I've never personally had an issue with police even when I was young/stupid and worked on the streets (over 20 yrs ago). A police officer does not have to identify him/herself and can take whatever measures he/she wants in order to bust you. They do not at any time have to admit that they are a police officer. Ladies get more victimized in this situation then men do (sorry boys but it's true) and there's often bribery/extortion etc. to provide favours in exchange for not being charged/sent to the clink etc. and I can see a whole can of worms being opened up where that's concerned with this new bill being passed .. for ladies. This was VERY common back in the day when we all worked out on the streets, many moons ago, it still happens but dropped a bit when everyone moved indoors. I hear a lot about this in terms of incidents in the US and other countries, once in a while here in Canada, but not so much, although I'm pretty sure more goes unreported. If an ad looks too good to be true, it more than likely is and there's usually super hot, young looking ladies used as pictures in the ads. They also usually use a bargain basement price to give you that double whammy, lure you in type scenario. And a lot of times, I'll even know there's a bust going on, because sometimes, they've used established porn star pictures. Stick with reputable sp's, do your research. I know it's hard at times for you boys to maintain control over the little head at times, but use the big head, common sense. One thing I do know to the best of my knowledge that LE has never used a web site claiming it to be their own in order to put up a sting and as far as I know they've also never claimed to have reviews or be reviewed. It's always some super hot pics and a bargain price, even 2 for 1 deals. If you google her number and there's no history at all, she's got no web site and no reviews, chances are it's a sting or she's super new and I feel really bad for the new ladies trying to get into the industry right now. Sorry for the rambling lol but we ladies can get more charges laid against us now and will be open to more victimization than you guys will. I'm not trying to marginalize your feelings, worries etc. that would be wrong. Our issues are equally important, but ladies can get a whole stem of charges and risk being blackmailed/extorted wherein you get one. -

Is someone pregnant in this thread .. I mean dill pickles and all .. not to be nosy lol -
I agree with with most of what you said, but new does not always mean new to the industry, new to a city too, if you have never been there before, despite whatever. You know what I mean lol So be to clear, what FO is saying, NEW just not young new or that type of thing. I made more money in my thirties than I did at any other age and I have been around long before that. And whenever I tour to a new city, I am booked solid. I have known FO for a long time, she knows what she is talking about and some times people take us older ladies the wrong way but we always every persons best interest at heart.

This comment came up in another thread about who to donate to and tis the season very shortly of the gift of giving, even though we should all be doing it year round and more so, kinda set aside some money for donations through the year, even if it is just a couple of bucks it helps. Advocates are definitely going to be appealing this bill and I can guarantee it will cost quite a few bucks to help them out with research, lawyers fees, travel and accommodations. Maggies Toronto SPOC PEERS PACE Stella PIVOT Legal Scarlet Alliance Ladies that advocate, do research and have fought for our rights on a massive level; Susan Davis Terri Jean Bedford Naomi Sayers Nikki Thomas Kerry Porth Talk to anyone of those ladies and ask them about donations before you decide to donate. HELP them HELP us. I have probably forgot a few agencies and ladies, but much has been amiss the last few days since this bill has passed.

I'm done - thank you C-36
squirtingmilf replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Yeah exactly, they already get money from the government and tons of donations because of their bullcrap victim perpetuation .. do NOT donate money to womans shelters and the like. I can tell you right now, Susan Davis and I did some research on shelters and abused womans transition homes and they do NOT accept working ladies at all. Every question was about drugs and drug abuse .. like every single lady was some transient drug addict .. smh .. it was ridiculous. And then they were all bitching and whining about how they were only going to get 100 or 200K out of this bill .. seriously, our activists barely get squat! -
I'm done - thank you C-36

Although I can certainly understand where the OP is coming from and his reluctance to keep on seeing ladies because he now risks the possibility of having a tarnished reputation, you really have to understand those in support of Bill C-36 and what their objectives are. These are people that want to do rescue work (it's very profitable) and although they want to END our entire industry, the porn industry etc. they have main targets of where they want to start. And although I'm not saying with 100% certainty that what I'm about to say is true, I've dealt with some of the abolishment agencies personally and so that is where I'm coming from with my statements. They believe that every single one of us are victimized, we are all here not of our own free will, however that being said; more emphasis will be put on those coming from other countries to work here, because those are "human trafficking victims". So targets, asian massage parlours and asian micros. Then the next thing they carry on about are the all the "underage ladies" that are being "trafficked" and working "against their will" or "being pimped". This will be where they start, because they can "rescue" more "victims" in massage parlours than they can individual ladies, ladies that are established and those of us that have been around for a long time. When you think about it logically, who can they brainwash more easily into buying their "victim mentality and agenda"? Those who don't speak English and don't understand what's going on and those that are super young and naive. Those are the type of people they prey on, who they deem to be the most vulnerable. If you've got super asshole police officers in your city where they bust frequently, etc. then yeah I can see them picking on some independent ladies, but remember one thing, the abolishment agencies have an agenda and your average independent lady isn't it. I could be 100% wrong in what I've just said, but you really need to understand the inner workings of how they think. I wrote a very long post about this here http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=197352 Additional Comments: I remember back in the day, there were no pictures, you called ladies from the yellow pages and you got what you got at your door. Then along came newspapers same thing. Then we could start putting pictures in our ads and when web sites were just starting everyone was asking for them .. now half the people don't read them or do research. Today some guy called me and asked me for information, I told him to google my number .. his response - "I don't have time for that, fuck off" .. He'll be one of those guys that will get a great shock to his system when he gets busted and frankly I won't miss assholes like that. -
It cost me a whole whopping $500 to set that up, without a lawyer and I think I paid 8 grand with a lawyer to move my porn businesses offshore. You just move it to a country where this industry is not illegal. And if this was me and my income was being somewhat threatened, that's exactly what I'd do. Bill C-36 makes me frustrated but I doubt it will have a big impact on my life, since I'm an old sp and not a walking target for LE and am retiring in the new year but not from advocacy. Kathleen Wynne has the power as the leader of the majority opposition to take that bill to the Appeal Court of Ontario so they can deem it constitutional or not and given her sexual orientation she knows firsthand what it's like to be victimized, marginalized and judged unfairly for her lifestyle. Pressure needs to be put on her and Sen Jaffer for the next 30 days to do it.
-
Yes it is actually quite that easy or I wouldn't have suggested it. My other business is online and I used to sell porn and I know what the laws are in terms of moving things off shore and running a business offshore. Most of us did that in the porn industry when new laws came into effect. All cerb would need to do is change the site name and get a business address in a different country, it's not hard at all, people do it all the time. When I first started marketing online, the bank wouldn't give me a merchant account. I went to the US opened a small business bank account, also bought a mailing address for my business (UPS and those types of services sell them for a monthly fee, all over the place) and got an American merchant account under that address. They forward my mail if I so chose or I'd go pick it up every couple of months. So it is really that simple. If it ain't home grown, they can't touch you.

I don't know why everyone wants to just follow suit, move your stuff offshore. Move your web site offshore and problem solved. All CERB needs to do is change the name and move the hosting offshore. Don't cave in, fight back!

I certainly wasn't talking about black men in my posts at all. Black populations in Alberta and BC are very limited. I rarely see black men and when I do I'm usually surprised, because they are so few and far between. Never had a problem with black men. Now once in a while one will give me a call but usually they are just traveling from out of country and try the "pimp" crap lines but never one that lives in BC or Alberta. -
Terri Jean Bedford has stated that we should all write letters to the Honourable Kathleen Wynne as she has the power to take Bill C-36 to the Ontario Court of Appeal. http://blog.terrijeanbedford.com/2014/06/25/dominatrix-writes-premier/ Nikki Thomas also wrote a letter http://www.msnikkithomas.com/open-letter-to-kathleen-wynne-stop-c36/ Here is her contact information https://correspondence.premier.gov.on.ca/en/feedback/default.aspx My letter to her November 5, 2014 The Honourable Kathleen Wynne, I write to you today as a woman who has chosen to be a sex worker at my own free will for a number of years. I also write to you as a single mother and sole financial supporter of 3 children and would like to strongly convey that Bill C-36 proposes to have financial negative impacts on my children and their futures, as it will for thousands of other children across the country. It will also jeopardize my safety and security and possibly my childrens too, as I will no longer be able to screen my clients properly with the means that I am currently afforded to do so. In 2007, I woke up at home to learn that my one of my dearest friends and roommate had been brutally murdered by a client, her name, Nicole Parisien. Nicole was dragged down 10 flights of stairs, rolled up in a carpet and tossed away like a piece of garbage. Her murder could have been prevented had proper laws been implemented to ensure safety and security within our chosen profession. Bill C-36 will eliminate our safety and security measures beyond comprehension at this point. It will allow more predators, those of the likes of Andrew Evans and Robert Pickton to prey on us even further. Is this what the current majority government truly wants for us? The Conservatives have made it quite clear that they do, but do you as the Liberal Leader of our country? How many more lives have to be taken before our current government gets the message that criminalizing this industry just is not going to work? I also ask you as a woman who has been victimized, harassed and marginalized because of your sexual preference, surely you must understand how we as sex workers feel, are impacted and misjudged just because of our chosen line of profession. I implore you to please do the right thing and ask the Ontario Court of Appeal to render an opinion on whether or not Bill C-36 is constitutional. Bill C-36 will cause more harm than good and it will affect the lives of thousands of women and men who freely choose to engage in the sex industry, as a means of income or pleasure. Please do not allow any more women and men to be victimized, go missing or murdered, do not allow my children to become motherless! With deepest respect

C-36 will get royal assent tomorrow, Senator Mobina Jaffer just posted that on her twitter account.

I always say safety comes first in terms of knowledge of the industry, especially for those who are new. Find a good doctor and/or gynecologist one who is open to what you are doing, some are and some aren't and educate yourself on the potential risks of what services you are going to offer (always a risk but some are greater than others). Find out where the free clinics are too in your local area just incase you really need one and your regular doctor is not available. They usually have a ton of information on different diseases, risk potential etc. and are more compassionate about your choice to be in the industry, easier to talk to sometimes than your regular doctor may be. Most free clinics also give out free condoms, lube, some have dental dams, female condoms - make use of that. Some cities also have condom fairies where they will come to your home or your workspace and drop condoms and lube off to you. Team up with an experienced SP or two, you certainly don't have to meet them in person but even just build up a relationship with them via pm, phone or email, whatever your comfort level. We are often left feeling isolated and most of us can't talk to our mainstream friends or family about what it is that we do, so try not to do that to yourself. You can also see if they're willing to help you with time checks etc. Educate yourself on local advocates in your area too, in case a serious instance happens (hopefully not) they are a great resources in terms of information, legal info and support. They too can provide you with tons of information of risks surrounding the industry and practices/services you're offering and they also have free condoms, lube avail. And well you can talk to them about EVERYTHING. Some of them are retired, part time or full time in the industry and some have never worked, but they choose to support us and you'll find they are a very understanding and wonderful bunch of ladies.

Letter to Senator Jaffer
squirtingmilf replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I really respect what she had to say for the most part and she did go to PACE to meet with Sexworkers and supporters. I was on twitter last night and a bunch of advocates were really going off about Gosse and rightfully so, if she's not an expert on consensual sexwork and admits to not being one or having any data, she shouldn't have been in there in the first place. And as Jaffer pointed out to her there are already two bills for human trafficking coming up that they're going to go over, plus a third that they're going to be putting forth. That's where Gosse should focus her efforts on rather than making claims on a subject she has admitted to knowing nothing about. There's another meeting today at 2pm. The other thing I respect about Jaffer, is that she actually listened to what everyone on our side had to say, especially in terms of the RadFems and Abolishment agencies, so now she knows their agenda, although I think I might write to her about that to reinforce it and use content that I posted here on the subject for her. -

I would just like to know WHY people are making assumptions that others are talking about BLACK men? I've never had an issue personally with black men, although at sometimes they can have an attitude, but that goes for any other race, seriously. Black population in Western provinces is VERY low, so I don't see a lot of them. When I was younger I worked for two black men and they were very respectful, didn't "pimp" me per se, never asked me for a ton of money or abused me in any way shape or form. Hell I'm a half white girl with a big ass! (yeah just joking with the stereotype) .. but they are NOT the ethnicity I'm referring to at all, what so ever and am wondering WHY people are jumping to that conclusion? There are other dark men out there.
