Speaking of pumped up kicks I'm suddenly reminded of the classic Van Halen song Jump and David Lee Roth's huge jump kicks

I think that not allowing masturbation in prison is not going to do anybody any favours. If anything it would probably make things much much worse. If you stick that many prisoners in a confined area and don't allow them some way of relieving the tension your probably going to end up with more people dropping the soap so to speak or other forms of violence. Also guys like me who aren't exactly the biggest guys out there would be less inclined to leave our cells let alone visit the showers and that would just compound things.

When someone gives me help or advice I always try and thank them in some form or another whether it's in person, or a card, or a message of some form. I do that mainly because I always appreciate that someone took the time to think of me and try to help. And partially because when I was growing up if I didn't thank someone I'd never hear the end of it, lol. Now I will admit that I am notoriously bad at accepting help and compliments but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the thought and thank people anyway. Now when it comes to others and them thanking me for help I don't force the issue but it's always appreciated. If someone doesn't thank me I won't call them on it but let's just say I may not be so quick to offer help the next time. That being said though, if someone really needed my help I wouldn't turn them down just because they didn't thank me last time.

To me education does not matter, and this applies not only to dates with wonderful sp's like yourself :) but to who I choose spend time with outside of this hobby. To me education is not a mark of how intelligent a person is. I've known people with university degree's that aren't exactly the brightest bulbs out there, and to be honest university doesn't exactly prepare you for the real world and having to deal with real life situations. Some of my best friends only have their high school diplomas but they are still what I would call very intelligent people. And you can always go back to school whereas some experiences you only get one shot at. What I value most in both sp's and my friends is the personality. I would rather spend my time with someone who puts a smile on my face, who makes me laugh, someone I enjoy talking too and all and all is a kind soul than someone who can quote the periodic table of elements. A killer body doesn't hurt either ;)

I'd have to say that family and friends are equally important. My family was always there for me growing up, and I can honestly say that I wouldn't be the person I am today without them. That being said you choose your friends, you don't have a choice when it comes to family, lol. And as much as I love my family there are times when we don't exactly see eye to eye on things. Baileydog was right when he said that if your lucky you make one or two really good friends during your lifetime. My best friends are practically family to me. We've been through so much together that it would be hard to call them anything other than a brother. I can honestly say they've stood by my side during some of the roughest moments of my life and for that I would take a bullet for them in a heart beat.

And while on the topic on James Bond themes who can forget Goldfinger sung by Shirley Bassey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgN50uAp4pg Goldfinger also has one of the best names for a bond girl ever :icon_wink: Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore

School Love - Anvil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8Wy4Qn88qY Anvil isn't exactly a Tier 1 act but I absolutely loved the documentary made on them and I saw them live opening for Alice Cooper and they were decent. Here's a link to the trailer for the documentary if anyone is interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF4H8lB2Y_o

I was raised to treat others with kindness and respect. Now I'll admit that I am nowhere near perfect and in the past have treated some people less kindly than I should have. But I always try my best to treat others the way I would want to be treated. And I've generally found that what you do unto others gets reflected back to you, good or bad. So in a sense you could say that I believe in karma, or at least positive/negative waves.

From doing some reading it looks like by-law violations usually result in a warning or a fine for a first offence. Now continual violations can result in greater fines or possibly court proceedings. I found this info on the city of ottawa website, http://www.ottawa.ca/en/licence_permit/bylaw/violation/index.html , there is probably more info on there too if your curious.

Till I am myself again - Blue Rodeo I know I already mentioned Blue Rodeo but thought they deserved a double shot since they're performing at the junos ... and because they are one of my favourite Canadian acts :icon_biggrin:
