I know I was the last one to post on this thread but I just couldn't wait to post this gem I just remembered. Kung Pow: Enter The Fist. First of all I should state that no this is not a porn, although I will admit that this would probably make a good title for one, lol. This is actually a parody of the old 70's Kung Fu flicks that were originally shot in Chinese and than dubbed to English. It was actually shot in the 2000's but from what I remember it borrows heavily from an old kung fu movie from the 70's. Now the humour can be pretty low brow at times, but I swear some scenes are just so ridiculous that you can't help but laugh. Hope you enjoy it :)

Flying by jetpack! awesome video..
tokan replied to Carrie Moon's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I'm not sure that a jet pack is something I'd ever want to try as I'm a wee bit skiddish of heights. That being said the video was pretty cool. I wonder if their testing process was similar to a particular robot chicken episode. Here's the video, it's in French but the dialogue isn't too important to the sketch. Enjoy :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfAGaSQ4oCs -

As someone who has lost a close family member to cancer I am always touched when I hear of people doing things like this. Good for you! I've seen how tough it can be to go through that battle and something, like the real hair wigs, that allows them to face that battle with just that little extra bit of dignity might just give them that extra little bit of fight to get through it. Again I applaud you for doing this. You might miss those locks but I'm sure it means the world to whoever is luck enough to get them in their wig.

Words you'll never think the same of again

Before I found Cerb I always thought of Incall or Outcall as having to with a doctors visit, which I always tended to dread. Now whenever I think of those two terms I get almost giddy with excitement, lol. -

Well according to the dictionary the opposite of numb is animated and stop motion is a form of animation. And when I think of stop motion animation I can't help but think of a certain stop motion animated music video from Peter Gabriel. A bit of a stretch but numb was tough one, lol. So I made a quick trip to the casino today and while walking towards the entrance I notice an older gentlemen fall over and it looks like he went down hard. So me and my friend run over to make sure the guy is all right and well he is a bit dazed. Looks like he hit his nose good too cause he was bleeding a bit, so we stick around until the security/medics got there to make sure he is okay and make sure he gathered up all the winnings he dropped. After we were sure he was okay and the medics were there we left after he thanked us. So we go inside and start playing on the slots, maybe play 5 bucks and end up winning 70. Decided to call it quits after that, lol. Somehow in the back of my mind I kept thinking, well I guess karma really does exists. Made my day anyway, lol.

I didn't see last nights episode of SVU but I have seen other shows and movies that have depicted the industry in the same light and I can't say I'm a fan of it either. I'm not saying Hollywood has to go totally all rosey on the industry but they should at least try to be more balanced when depicting it and not just show the worst aspects of it. The Shield is another show that I can think of that hasn't exactly shown the industry in the best light, although I do enjoy the show. The only show I can think of that actually depicted the industry in a somewhat better light, although I've only caught bits and pieces of it, was secret diary of a call girl. I know human trafficking and sex slavery goes on here, there was bust on a human trafficking ring not too long ago and it sickens me that this stuff still happens in Canada. I just hope, like Piano said, that those who are victims of these crimes get the help they desperately need and those that committing these crimes are nailed to the walls. The politicians should be spending more time making better laws or providing police with the tools they need to nail the traffickers/slavers than by appealing laws that nobody wants in the first place and make it unsafe for those involved.

I could see this being a useful tool for both the ladies and the gentlemen as it would allow the ladies to quickly check if they have seen other providers and allow them to get in touch to verify the references. The only thing is that there would have to be mechanisms in place so that references could only be added if both the provider and the visitor gave the okay. An alternative that may also be useful and easier to implement might be a reference section similar to the recommendation section for the ladies. Now I'm not entirely sure what might be the best way to implement this or what the protocol would be but it might be easier to have a central list everyone can check. I realize this might bring up some strong feelings, and if so I will apologize in advance. Just some morning thoughts :)
