My dad was a regular at Hubba Bubba's. It closed before I could pay it a visit. Rick's Place would later change its name to Cheeks Cabaret. It was a Silver Dollar level club.

I was watching the movie Naked Obsession on YT and I liked how you could line money around the stage if you were impressed with the show. I remember sitting in around the stage at Olympic Gardens in 2001 in Las Vegas giving out a steady stream of bills. That was a lot of fun and I wish that could at least return in some way. Not everybody wants to lie on the stage with a $5, $10 or $20 in their mouth. Also, nobody comes to the stage with a blanket-like prop any more. I haven't seen one in years. I guess that became a victim of the changes made to stage shows. Somewhere, someplace there's a club with a 1990 vibe. Probably in the U.S. Still, there are a few gems here. One lady is an individual Il Re knows very well; not only is she an absolute sweetheart and very friendly but she's a real tigress in the CR. Even she still leaves me imagining like the ladies of 1990 did albeit in a different way.

That was indeed what the clubs were like in 1990 when places like Lido, Fanny's, Valentino's and the amazing for its time original Barbarella's on Bank Street were the places to go. That was a time where the only way one could find an SP was through a newspaper, a magazine or word of mouth and it was a roll of the dice whether you would be happy with your experience. The Internet and Social Media have changed the landscape as finding a great SP is very easy nowadays. The clubs have had to compete to keep people coming in but not for the better. I miss the Feature Acts. Clubs were starting to phase them out around 1993-94. Champagne Rooms have been the norm since 1991, when Fanny's created the first in the city. Full contact lap dances became my norm in 1998. I do miss those days. I'm certain it was more profitable for the employees. Men got to see top XXX stars in person and get autographs and pictures with them. These days with the ease of finding what you want on the Internet, it's harder to make a living as an exotic dancer with the competition, word of mouth everywhere and the high DJ fees. Only weakness of the old era was that I ran into a lot of beautiful but conceited and arrogant women. Fanny's had a lot of gorgeous egomaniacs working there in 1991-95.

I've known a good number of dancers but if I had to choose one favorite, it would easily be Athena. She worked at Pigale in 1999 and I spent many summer nights with her. An absolute sweetheart. She was half Belgian, half Egyptian; very exotic. Extremely friendly and passionate. She loved to kiss in the CR; we would kiss on the lips a good 20-25 times during the dances. I wish I could have seen how her performances would be like in a Pigale of 2013. She was ahead of her time. I was teary-eyed when she announced she was leaving the industry. I hope she's doing great.

We were originally going to go across the river for my brother's Bachelor Party but since we dined at Baton Rouge, we decided to go to Barb's instead until The Velvet Room opened. Brooklyn was on stage and I was extremely impressed. The woman does moves that nobody else I've ever seen does. She certainly opened more than just my eyes. She came down to where we were sitting and I talked with her for a bit. An absolute sweetheart and a joy to talk to. I only could buy a few dances since we were feeding my brother this night but she was dynamite in the CR. Exactly what everybody else has said. I certainly will see her again before the summer is out. She's amazing.

You are correct, Castle. I only go at night. I don't even remember the last time I visited a club in the day time. Las Vegas probably. I'm going to visit Barb's Thursday around lunch and see the atmosphere there before I go to Bluesfest. Maybe it's time for a change.

The problem with strip clubs are their usually oppressive nature. The loud music that rarely abates, the expensive prices for drinks, the silly rules for coat checks and so on. It just doesn't do it for me. Also, the women just don't stand out any more. Everybody has the same skimpy outfits they probably bought at a discount store and tattoos. I went to Pigale yesterday night and nobody stood out. This place used to be full of 8-10s now it's mainly 5-6 in my opinion. With the Internet, it is easy to find alternative services and not have to worry about bouncers, bikers or bobbies. It's best to leave the clubs to young people, bachelor parties and tourists as webothscore said. It's not for the locals or fantasy seekers any more.

Thanks, Kennedy. We really need somebody to let us know who is working everyday at places like Barb's and Pigale since the club themselves will never give us the list of scheduled girls. They want us to visit the place and give them $13 for cover and a drink.

In Las Vegas, there are casinos and gentlemen's clubs that cater to the locals and not tourists. Tourists would most likely visit Pigale and Barb's when here, while locals would mostly visit The Playmate.

Thanks, guys. I'm getting tired of Pigale and Barb's. I think I need to try a place that's a little more "local", in Las Vegas vernacular.

I would also like to make a visit here. Haven't stepped foot inside since 1991, I guess. The only concern is the neighborhood. Where would you park you car? I myself would take my chances and leave it at the Shopper's Drug Mart but I worry that the SDM would have a problem with that. I also wonder if the dancers canvas the customers for their services.

I've had my experience with jealous dancers. I know back in my 1997-2001 visits to Pigale and Bare Fax a dancer would be upset if somebody got to me first as I usually saw only one woman at the time. It wasn't until later that I could financially see 3 in one night. I remember I made the fabulous Natina jealous one night. I feel there are girls who are jealous of other girls who get more customers. I can sense it. Even if you're just as attractive as your competition, men want to be with those girls who are more outgoing, wilder in the CR and simply know how to push men's buttons. We expect a fantasy in the CR and we don't feel a quiet, by-the-numbers dancer is what we wish to see. Funny thing is, I also get jealous of men who are spending time with these fantastic ladies I want to see, too.

Well, other than Barbarella's I haven't visited any other club regularly the last 10 years. I assumed that other major cities still had very strict rules as mandated by their municipalities. Windsor was known as the Air capital of Canada when it came to their clubs. When I was in Niagara Falls in 2004, I was told they didn't allow anything you could get in Ottawa-Gatineau. Has all that changed now?

Pigale is pretty much an Anglo club but with the looser Quebec rules. Some of the waitresses/bartenders might only speak French but everybody else is bilingual. Most speak English, 30% of the dancers are Anglophones.

I was at Pigale last night; making my first visit since November 2012. First thing I notice are two bouncers right at the door as well as near the turnstile. They thought I was drunk due to my slight limp. I don't even drink. They also have a metal detector. I guess they want to assure you that suspicious looking people will be checked for weapons before allowed inside. They also have these cages ala 1967 for some reason. I guess they are trying to bring back cage dancing for special occasions. And yes, the attendant in the bathroom is still there LOL. Only one lady approached me for a dance and it was none other than the Copacabana Girl Lola. She recognized me from my last visit with her and she was astounded that I remembered the stuff she told me about herself from months ago. I can say that last night Lola must have been in a great mood because she was a 20/10 in the CR. She was a real tigress the entire 20 minutes. Tonight would be a very good night to pay her a visit. She's amazing. I'm sure some SP could learn from her. I'd see her everyday if I could. She's a rare GFE in the CR. I didn't get to buy a drink but Lola was nice enough to let me drink from her glass LOL. Pigale is still the best.

Women who are affectionate in the CR would always get repeat business from me. I say it in the past as I don't frequent the clubs like I used to. Donika and Lexus at the Bare Fax and Athena, Patricia, Natina and Sable are the retired ladies in the past (1998-2008 ) were the ones who loved giving everybody real kisses and not those fake "blow" kisses. 14 years later and I still miss Athena to this day.

Pigale was the best club in all of North America in its glorious heyday (1999-2006 for me) in my opinion. The most beautiful and friendly women in city, free parking and cool waitresses, bartenders and bouncers. It's still a great place but the desire to visit the place isn't there nowadays. I always worry about bikers, cops or something. I did enjoy my one visit this year to Pigale immensely but I need to be in the right frame of mind to visit any club these days. I know that the minute I sit down, I'm going to be asked for dances. I miss the days when you would have to go over and ask.

I remember Angel. Very beautiful woman that looked like she would be at home in a rock music video. She had terrific stage music, too. Her attitude, however, was disappointing. I was only 20 at the time. Perhaps she didn't go for college students or I wasn't her type. She also had a tendency to look away at me during the table dances.

She works nights. She's from Montreal so I assume she's not local.

My report: I can't name names as I didn't get permission. The woman in question doesn't even know about this site. I arrived yesterday at 9 P.M. and not 30 seconds after I sit down, the lady in question appears. We talk, I buy her a drink, we discuss the CR, I ask for a certain provision and get it and we go downstairs for 5 dances. The lady was fantastic and the dance here is a lot more explicit than what goes on at Barb's. Non-stop talker, too, which I like. She was an 8 overall. I do think I can find even better at Pigale, though.

I'm an average looking guy but I never had to ask for kisses. I feel my personality, friendliness and soft touch work well with my generosity. It would be nice if somebody who really wanted a trip to the CR for a C-Note would greet me with a kiss on the lips like Maya did to that Crazy 7's winner. I should try that tomorrow at Pigale. I was going to go on the 9th but I was sidetracked and had to go to Barb's. I could really use a kiss...and maybe a trip to the casino afterwards.

I'm planning to visit Pigale on November 9. I've got a nice list of names from this site and I hope I'll meet one of them.
