  1. Haven't read the books, and after reading some exerpts, I doubt that I will. The trailers looked weird, the relationship between the two kinda felt creepy in the two minutes to never want to watch that movie. My best friend got roped into watching it with his GF. His exact words were "I wish I could have just stared at a wall for 2 hours instead of watching that movie".
  2. Damn...I wanted to write something but it made me so upset thinking about my own that died. I am so sorry for your loss
  3. I'm kind of nervous actually. In 2008, we saw a big correction in the markets, and while unemployment went up, house prices just kept growing as well. That was not the case in US. Since then, house prices in the Toronto area, Vancouver, and some other big Canadian cities have reached beyond unaffordable, there is a report that Canadian house prices are overpriced by 60% (although we've been talking about a price correction for a while, so I don't know if it'll happen this year). If I didn't already own, I don't know what I would have done to buy one now. My place has doubled in price since owning it, and had I bought it brand new, it would be nearly 3-4 times the initial asking price. All this in a matter of 12-15 years. With the market growing the rate it has since 2009, being 6 years, I'm starting to get nervous. Canada's exchange is 25% finance, 20% oil and gas. That's a huge reliance on just two industries. With oil prices in a free fall, and the cost of production in Canada at ~$70-80 a barrel (from what I heard), I don't know how any of this is good for us in the near future. There will be layoffs, I think we've already started to see some of that. Many of these jobs are very high paying, and while it probably hurts Alberta more then any other provinces, I'm wondering what will happen elsewhere. I also don't completely know how yesterday's rate cut will affect finances in the long term. Even though yesterday I made more in one day then I ever have before. Perhaps I'm being massively pessimistic.
  4. I'm not a big fan, but there are some instances where Family Guy was just the perfect thing to watch. One of those moments was after a particularly brutal mid-term exam season, and all the students (myself included) were a bit shell shocked. Somehow, 20 or so of us, many who never met before congregated in someone's dorm, watching half a season of Family Guy, followed by Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, followed by Team America, World Police. Scarface Memento And while this isn't a movie - Breaking Bad Just haven't gotten around to it yet
  5. I don't care if people make up some sort of agreement for a 5 year marriage, or 1 year or 20 years. As long as they are doing it happily on their own free will, it's their choice. I just hope that the children are considered when making this arrangement. It's not for me though. If I marry, I plan it to be a life long commitment, and yes I do leave the option for divorce if things get bad. I respect people who don't get marriage and decide it's not for them. What I don't get is some of those people who claim marriage is useless and a relic of the past (and not in a joking manner). I get the impression that some of those people get some joy in putting down marriages and the people who believe in their importance. I just don't know why though. Basically, you stay out of my way, I'll stay out of yours.
  6. Google EI Mila. I don't know if she's still around though (Indian). I think you are reading too much into this. He had a request, Alanna would've been my first suggestion, but he's made it clear that her rates are above his budget, therefore wants a different recommendation. That's completely okay that someone budget isn't as high as a lady's rates, what would be wrong if he complained about it, or asked her for a discount.
  7. I can only assume when people are mentioning that they don't feel safe in a spa, it's safety from the police. Now that a law has been enacted, I'm wondering if people are just waiting for a while to see if there are going to be police sweeps. These spas (or some that I know of at least) have obtained a permit from the city, which from my understanding made some activities legit. So what supersedes the other? Will the local PDs use common sense and let consenting adults do what they want, or will they employ other tactics. Excellent point, if you haven't already done so, maybe let your MP know this and how this is not helping you one bit (or whatever you are experiencing because of the new law) As a client - some comfort is by visiting individuals who I have some knowledge from before, or visited before (hypothetically speaking of course). As a lady on the other side of that door - No helpful comment. Sorry
  8. I've been meaning to write this review for a while, but for some reason I keep forgetting. So, this review is going to be a bit difficult to write because I don't think I've met someone like Julie before. Julie has this amazing ability to just make you feel welcomed, I swear she would be an epic ambassador or spokesperson or whatever that required building trust and comfort. Within a few minutes of meeting her you will end up feeling like you're meeting an old friend. Within that time, you may end up sharing more about yourself then you normally would in that situation. Not because you feel compelled to, but because you want to. She is smart, witty, and beautiful. You will leave with a stupid grin on your face.
  9. I think a couple of things deserve repeating Under rare circumstance, it may be the perfect gift, but as Cristy said above, owning a pet is a massive responsibility, with a lot of costs associated. Pets become a part of the family, and it is imperative that at least one or two members of the family feel the animal out first to see if they are a good fit. This is another point I completely agree with. I adopted a cat from a shelter, and he is the best animal companion I've ever had. He was already slightly old, but he has given my family immense joy. Kittens and puppies are adorable and oh so cute. But I'd say if you can, check out the older ones, they have more developed personalities and habits. You can see if they are affectionate or the ones that like to stay away.
  10. This was my guess. I have caller ID on my home phone. It shows the number of the caller, and sometimes the name. Some caller IDs don't show the number if the name shows up. So why would someone bother to do this? To be honest, the first thought that came into mind was something nefarious. Proceed with caution.
  11. I've been to a spa only once. I prefer indies for the following reason. Privacy - Walking into the spa from an open street was a bit unnerving. Nothing wrong with it, and while it faced a road, it was quite empty and I'm certain no one noticed me going in or leaving. I wouldn't say it's a deal killer, but it is a factor. Also, I did pass by another client on my way out. It didn't bother me too much, but I would have preferred not to have that happen. Experience - I just prefer the more personal touch of seeing an indy. With an indy, I can get a sense of who she is right from her website. A bonus if she is active here. When I send out a message, I will be getting in touch with her. By the time I meet her, there is an initial understanding of each other. With a spa, I literally did not know anything about the person coming in (my experience was perhaps a bit more extreme, but in normal circumstances, I'd just know some brief physical details which doesn't mean much). There are some other instances where I would like to get in touch with the person directly, just to inform her about some interests, and get her feedback. It's a bit awkward to do so when contacting the spa. Not to say there are no upsides to a spa. With the spa, I was able to walk right in with a short notice. That isn't as easy with an indy. The person I normally see has a very different schedule then I. It once took two months to set something up with her because of it. Additionally, a spa can sometimes provide more facilities (not always) which is nice. In short, while I would not completely rule out a spa, I'm much more inclined to see an indy.
  12. Many people have mentioned that I have a strong resemblance to Channing Tatum. And by resemblance, we share many similar features, like two arms, legs, eyes, eye brows. Line up ladies! But on a more serious note, it is a bit disappointing to see that there is almost nothing out there for women. For whatever reason the there is no demand for this sort of service, I do hope that it has nothing to do with cultural norms being different for men and women (or that it is moving away from that).
  13. Maybe have a couple of gift cards from Starbucks, Tim Hortons, etc. At some point, as them if they have a preference. Tada, you have the right one to give them! Something small, $5 would be more then enough. At this point, the unexpected kind gesture is what's really valuable. You never know, some people are into that.
  14. I'd like to share my fantasy, but the Conservative government would probably be very angry at me. Nothing to do with C36. But all consensual!
  15. I don't think I've lost any, or perhaps 10 or so. I need to dirty up my posts.
  16. I congrats everyone one their new celibacy pledges. I do hope that from now on, people only engage in coitus for the purposes of procreation to create more Conservative voters. I just want to use this opportunity to welcome all of you to the celibacy club. I have always been a member, and all my previous posts were a ruse in an attempt to gain trust and infiltrate this devilish organization. Vote Cons for 2015, ensuring butt secks for another term!
  17. Do you have a link or something about this. I'm curious to see what they're arguing about exactly
  18. This should be shown on TV during prime time. For science.
  19. Laying low until I am comfortable again. I don't fear the cops as much as I fear these 'rescue workers' wanting to make a point. Arrest and prosecution isn't the only bad outcome.
  20. Your point, illustrated in a sort of Victorian art form, and enhanced with the marvels of modern technology. I gotta say, this has been one of the most epic of falls in recent memory.
  21. Add another reason to like Quebec
  22. Its nothing like PayPal. Some of the main reasons it has achieved its success so far is due to lack of limitations of use and the anonymity of it. If it became accepted, I would use it in a heartbeat. No records and no dealing with hard cash.
  23. Today was another huge rally. Hoping we've reached the bottom, but I'm going to stay cautious for a while longer.
