All I want for Christmas
piano8950 replied to CristyCurves's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My family does not celebrate Christmas, but if I ever to celebrate it with someone, I'd want to decorate a tree, or hang a couple of ornaments on a tree. It's not a thing, but that's what I'd want :P -

The best all season tires only make a difference in the spring/summer/fall seasons. After it gets colder then 5-7 C, there isn't much of a difference between a good all season and a bad one. At that temperature or colder, the tire hardens, and becomes quite ineffective. For all seasons, I like Michelin HydroEdge. Quite good for rain (other then rain, there isn't much of a threat on the road). They are pricier, but I've noticed a difference in rain driving. Again, and I only say this because of a close call, in the winter, it doesn't matter which all season you get, slow speed is the only thing that saved me from a particularly brutal accident.

Rememberance day
piano8950 replied to CristyCurves's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Was just going to open a thread about this actually. Just a reminder and an fyi if anyone is interested. I've been going for the last two years, and it is humbling to say the least. I've taken immense pride that I can call myself Canadian now. And while I abhor war, I have immense respect for the individuals who selflessly act on the orders of this country. I hate whenever there is a convoy of cars going down the 401 signalling another loss, but I'm always in awe that Canadians line up on bridge after bridge for hours to pay their respect. I thank the women and men who have fought for Canada. Your bravery is inspiring. National Ceremony of Remembrance, 11 a.m. War Memorial, located at Elgin and Wellington intersections. A parade of war veterans and pipers will march from Cartier Square Drill Hall toward the War Memorial. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at the War Memorial. Wreaths will be laid by dignitaries, along with veterans and representatives of the Armed Forces, followed by a moment of silence at 11 a.m.. For other events around Ottawa -
A girl from my past has returned. After a rather tumultuous time (far longer than I wish to admit), I distanced myself from her, and we didn't talk for months afterword. Our last interaction was cordial, pleasant actually, but under no circumstance did I give her the impression that I even wanted to be simple friends. I know she's trouble, and for once I am certain without a doubt that I deserve more then her involvement in my life in any manner, I cannot shake this feeling that I'm going to let her in again. She was the first girl I would've done anything for, the one person I sacrificed so much for. I hate this feeling of being illogical.

what to do with your wallet
piano8950 replied to pussy_liquor's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
^That's actually quite well thought out -
Welcome. Not to sound unfriendly or rude, but that's the second 'you will all die' joke you've made. I can with certainty for myself, (and maybe a few others) the whole death comments are rather unsettling. So maybe lay of that topic till you're more settled in (or completely)

what to do with your wallet
piano8950 replied to pussy_liquor's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I see the same SP, and I'm not concerned about theft with her. I bring my wallet with me, and it stays in the pocket for the entire time. One time it slipped out and fell behind the dresser. She seemed to be more concerned about it being lost then I was. So in a nutshell, for the first time, definitely, be careful of your belongings just as you would with any interaction with someone new. If you're comfortable with them, treat them as such. -
Fact: I got a flu shot once, and soon after got horribly sick Omitted from above: It was my first winter in Canada, a rather cold one at that. I was not prepared for how cold the weather would get (Prior to that winter, I'd never experience temperature below 0C). A flu shot does not protect me from being under dressed in the cold. Anyway, I get it most years when I remember to (and not lazy). I've been more diligent on it if I have projects scheduled for later in the year. I cannot afford to be sick for my clients and not give my 100% On a related note, until I get my shot, I'd be less inclined to visit an MA or SP during the season if she declared she would not get one. I can respect people's choice to do whatever they want with their own body, but I can make the decision to protect mine as I see fit.

Peachy (Previously known as Valerie)
piano8950 replied to Ironsman1's topic in Ottawa Recommendations
I already contributed here, but since then, I've had the pleasure of seeing Peachy a few more times. While my initial opinion of her remains the same, visiting her over several months I've come to realize a more astounding attribute about her: her intellect. I'm not talking about her ability to talk about particle theories, microbiology or subjects of similar nature (if she did, she'd be talking to a blank face). What she was able to do was recollect small details, comments I had made in passing in a previous encounter. I don't know if I got to tell her yet, but I often find myself amazed with her attention to the details that matter. What I'm getting at, is that the first time I saw her, I couldn't fully appreciate how well she treats her clients (I can say for a certain how she treated me at least), I was new. Getting to see her a few times since, I can state with no uncertain terms that for me, she would make an encounter more meaningful. The last review I left, I wrote seeing her might be addicting. I was right, but only for half of the reason. I had not realized that there was so much more. Gentlemen, treat her well and kindly, because she treats her job with complete professionalism and her clients with respect and dedication. And she's super hot (Pictures don't do her justice) -
Only complain was that I wish it was longer. Enjoyed the interview, I found it quite fascinating

Daniel Craig is my favourite Bond. To be completely fair since many of you are mentioning Sean Connery, I haven't watched those movies. Pierce Brosnan was cool, then Die another Day and World is not Enough happened. Those movies were pretty bad. Less story, more effects and CGI. As for Bond girls, all awesome except Denise Richards as Christmas Jones. Just so ew (She's hot, but acted terribly, actually most of that movie was bad)

What's the longest you went without internet?
piano8950 replied to Bick's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
7 days...all was fine and well till I finally got online to check work email. I had nightmares that something bad happened while I was away -
I don't disagree with what you say at all. However, I was not talking about something a client has never ever done before between the client and SP. To clarify again, the author pointed out that an act previously consented does not mean a default consent. I got a PM from an SP, and talked to one privately on the subject, and both responses seem to echo what FeistyFerrari mentioned. I alluded to, but not entirely mentioned why this subject resonated with me so much. After considerably conversations with my cousin regarding sexual abuse (In my first post I mentioned that she works to reduce/eradicate abuse of this form), a common assault is when a victim consented to a certain act, only to deny it in the future. In the ensuing passion, "no's" are understood as moans in the midst of sexual excitement and ignored. I understand that I pay for an escort's time, and while there is a presumption of something more happening, it is not a guarantee. Anyhow, these are my thoughts, take it as you may.

By posting a vague description, and the ensuing responses, I can't help but be reminded of this joke Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl". The priest asks, "Is that you, little Joey Parisi ?" "Yes, Father, it is." "And who was the girl you were with?" "I can't tell you, Father, I don't want to ruin her reputation." " Well, Joey, I'm sure to find out her name sooner or later, so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?" "I cannot say." "Was it Teresa Volpe?" "I'll never tell." "Was it Nina Capelli?" "I'm sorry, but I cannot name her." "Was it Cathy Piriano?" "My lips are sealed." "Was it Rosa Di Angelo, then?" "Please, Father, I cannot tell you." The priest sighs in frustration. "You're very tight lipped, Joey Parisi, and I admire that. But you've sinned and have to atone. You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months. Now you go and behave yourself." Joey walks back to his pew, and his friend Franco slides over and whispers, "What'd you get?" "4 months vacation and five good leads."

I read an article a few minutes ago which made me pause and think. You can read the entirety by clicking this link. It's a general list of rules to follow which are pretty much obvious, yet unfortunately necessary to state given some of the experiences I've read some escorts have encountered. However, one of the points caught me off guard - "Just because a sex worker agreed to something in a previous session, does not mean that she has agreed to it in every other session. Ask every time, otherwise IT IS ASSAULT." Personally, before seeing an SP, I had combed through her website, and reviews to get as much info as to what to expect (and limitations), but after seeing her a couple of times, I don't go through that process. And it didn't occur to me that her limitations might change. I have a cousin who actively works with issues relating to sexual assault, and it made me sick that I could have inadvertently done something to constitute an assault. I'm not sure exactly what I wanted to say to everyone, I don't know what the general consensus is if a limitation changes. I guess it was something I felt needed sharing. Personally, I'm going to keep checking for any new limits before any encounter from now on.

Would an escort do an "IamA"? For science
piano8950 replied to piano8950's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I haven't reached that one yet, I've just been knocking off the interesting ones as I go along, so I didn't even know there has been some already. As for a cerb member, not particularly. Just anyone from the industry, and I only know of them on this forum. I don't particularly care to know the identity as well, just get her (or his) thoughts and opinions out to everyone out there, as it may dispel some incorrect notions. -
Alright, some of you may know what I'm talking about, for the rest, here's a bit of an explanation. There is an online community of people who talk about anything and everything called reddit.com. In it, there is a particular section which has become one of my favourite sections to check out called IamA. People create a thread, and the purpose is to simply answer questions people have about you/your profession/condition/or other interesting fact about you. Among those who've done an IamA Obama (But only answered 9 questions...lame) Zach Braff Engineers/Scientists of Mars Curiosity team Burn victims Porn actress Girl with no hair 101 year old man (Just to give you an idea of there being no general criteria of who can do one) Link for those interested Anyhow, I was just wondering if anyone here would like to do one, and thought it would be interesting. Tbh, I got the idea last night watching yet another show about a woman who was an escort, and being so vilified. And I thought if anyone was up to it, it might be an insightful topic for those who are unfamiliar with the entire industry. Anyway, thought I'd share if anyone would be willing to do it whenever they want. Note: I do not need to be notified if you do decide to do it, it would be anonymous.
