I set up an outcall appointment (is that what people here call it?) for next week. I know that SPs only go to 4*+ hotels which is fine by me, I rather prefer staying at one. But annoyingly, all are booked up in downtown Ottawa next week. The closest one is about 15-25 minutes away. I asked her if there was an additional fee (I don't mind paying), but I realize that not everyone can be mobile. What happens in situations like this etiquette wise? I'm in town to meet up clients anyway, and meeting the SP aside, this is turning to be a hassle with work as well :(

Ever have one of those days?

I looked for that, I found only two cards with that feature (one RBC, one AMEX). I despise AMEX for all the hassle they've given me so I'm never going back there again. And I rather stick to my bank since I get a few perks. And I don't care for the annual charge -

Ever have one of those days?

I was flying back to Ottawa a few months ago from LA. There was one connecting flight, through DC, not too big of a deal. Flight to DC was uneventful. Flight from DC to Ottawa was cancelled because of high winds in the east coast. No flight, not even to Toronto or Montreal was available. They offer me to fly to Chicago the next day, and from there to Toronto. Figured I might as well have a deep dish pizza at the airport. I slept that night in the airport, since I had my photography gear with me which I was afraid of getting stolen, I had my backpack wrapped around my body all night which made it very uncomfortable. Next day, flight leaves bright and early in the morning. Reach Chicago on time. I check Toronto, and there are no major weather issues or anything remotely such. So I settle in, get a pizza, walk around the airport, and about 30 minutes to boarding, I go by the gate. I should've checked my ticket and realized that the folks at United didn't really give me a boarding pass, but a ticket to an Air Canada flight. But I was tired. When I looked down and realized I didn't have a seat assigned, I went forward, hoping to maybe sit by a window or aisle seat. No luck, I was told that the flight was overbooked by 20 people because United over booked the Air Canada flight using code share. I was now 24th in line for an empty seat. And the rest of the flights that day weren't any better. I head over to United, determined that they were going to fix this, or at least give me a room to spend the night, since the first available flight from Chicago was 2 days later. Nada on both counts. At this point I got really loopy and just started laughing at everything (it was either that or start yelling my heart out). When the manager came by to see why a very tired looking passenger was laughing his ass of by the ticket counter, he was incredibly apologetic. And then offered me to fly to Philly to to go Toronto (I was just going to drive from Toronto to Ottawa myself if it just meant going back to good old Canada). I checked and double checked that I had boarding passes and not just on stand by on both. He assured me yes for both flights. Flight was in 10 minutes in another terminal. By the time I reached there, the gate was closed. So I had to stand in line for another hour and a half to get my flights changed again. Finally, I was routed through Minneapolis/St Pauls, spend the night there and take the first flight the next day to Toronto. In the end, it took me more then two days to get from LA to Ottawa. I had a direct flight to LA, it took me 5 hrs. I guess mine goes over the day limit, but it was definitely one of those weekends where nothing goes right. -

A couple of ideas. If you have a personal phone with you and it is from the same wireless provider (Bell, Rogers, Telus, etc) as your work phone, go to that store when you reach Ottawa, let them know you lost your SIM card and they'll replace it for you. Insert that SIM card in, when you get back home, make sure to put the new SIM card in your work phone. Another idea is to buy a really cheap feature phone from the wireless provider you're with. Unfortunately, it may run you $100-$130 or so (although they may have some deals available). Get a new SIM for your work number.

A brilliant way to open eyes

That was pretty awesome. I heard a radio program yesterday (pre-recorded) about sex workers in Canada. An MP brought kept on confusing and blurring the lines between sex workers who are in the trade by choice and people who have been trafficked or become dependent on drugs. For the women who worked the red light district by choice and highlighting the plight of others forced into their trade (perhaps while still being underage), I think is admirable. -
I tried finding if anyone posted this, couldn't find it. Anyhow, if it's been posted here before, here it is again

Would it be corny if I said coming to this forum? I mentioned this in another thread, but the politeness has not ceased to impress me. It's a breath of fresh air in a troll infested internet. That and the thought of an upcoming trip to Paris!!

I wondered about how SP goes about figuring out the time. I work in a profession where my services have a time limit, but I can usually check a watch easily without anyone noticing. But for my encounter, I wasn't sure about the time thing, so I brought my cell phone in, put it in my pocket, and scheduled it to ring 10 minutes after it ended in case none of us noticed the time and I didn't think it was fair that she should go over the allotted time for free. In her room, I saw one clock on her radio that was so small that I could barely see it. I never saw her look at it once. When we got dressed, I checked the time, and we were about 4-5 minutes passed the time were supposed to end. It's kind of hard to say what the right way to go about this is. I don't think it's right for an SP to go beyond what a client has paid for, at the same time, I can see how it can negatively affect the moment when a client notices she's distracted even for a moment. I think next time when I go, I'd set the alarm to 5 minutes passed schedule though. Oh, and before I came in, I switched of the signal to my phone, and put it on silent. I definitely do not want to care about the outside world. Given how attached I am to my phone to the point that I get withdrawals, it was remarkably easy. Funny how a very attractive woman can change your priorities :)

I am a great fan of pianos and learning to play it. As for the number, that's a secret I've shared with one other person only. I'm a son, a brother, a friend, and a crutch. I'm terrible at standing out, but I'm great at helping others do. I come from a great family, with strong, smart and if need be, independent women. I travel when I can, with whoever I can. I'm getting my bachelors in Computer Engineering, but I'm also a professional photographer. My job has taken me around North America, to the detriment of my school work, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm confident in my intelligence, and my skills with what I do. I am very uncertain about myself physically, and have always compared myself to who I think are perfect. While I am very comfortable around people, and I have no problem getting people to like me, I do not have the same level with confidence when it comes to dating or physical intimacy. I have way too many female friends for a single guy. I love all of them, but I see them as nothing more then friends (proof that it happens!). I have three best friends that I see myself incredibly blessed to know. My family is my rock. One day in the future, I'd love to teach in a highschool, and be the teacher some of my teachers were to me. I'd also like to possibly influence more girls into science and math.

Fighting a traffic ticket
piano8950 replied to hunknhot's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I got stopped because I slowed at a stop sign instead of stopping entirely. I was heading over to a party as the cop could see four, very well dressed people inside. And then to top it off, I didn't have my insurance and registration papers. So instead of a stop sign ticket, I got a ticket for that. But here's the kicker. Right after the cop gave it to me, he then proceeded to tell me how to get it revoked. Basically, I had to file an appeal to talk to the prosecutor and show him the forms. I'd get it dropped then. In the end all I had to do was file an appeal, and 6 months later, I get a letter saying the fines were dropped. Basically, from a speed demon friend of mine, his advice is to always talk to the prosecutor, work out a deal, and avoid points even if it means a larger fine. -
Is It Just Me Or...

I'm not a Christian, but being in the wedding industry, I'm in a church a lot for ceremonies. I've seen most women wear clothes that definitely looked sexy, but nothing too outlandish or disrespectful. Many wear a shawl to cover their shoulders and cleavage while inside, and take it off for the rest of the day unless it was cold. But there was one person who's dress was beyond inappropriate. It felt like every step she took, her breasts were going to pop out. I felt that even outside the church, in the context of the wedding of a friend, it was inappropriate. Mind you, if she was wearing the exact same thing to a club, or a casual get together, or beach party or something similar, it would've been fine by me. I just think that sometimes, the need to dress and show off your body isn't appropriate. And this applies to men too who wear muscle shirts. Yes, you're fit and you're healthy! Good for you, but in the office, I do not care. -
First time experience with SP's stories
piano8950 replied to someguy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I knew services like this existed, but I never really paid too much attention to them. Insert the last two months which were absolutely terrible. Business/School/Personal stuff that was related to business, I had just started to figure it out, and then sometime in the last week I decided I'd get in touch with Megan from Megan's touch. To be completely honest, I couldn't see myself going through with it, but I went through the motion, I'd contacted her through email, withdrew the cash amount and then set up an appointment to talk. Then I got her call, and after talking for a minute or 10? we set up an appointment for the next day for the actual session. I've never cancelled on anything unless it was for a good reason, and when I confirmed over the phone, and the call ended, I couldn't believe what I had done. To give you a perspective of how big this was for me, I come from a part of the planet where people get killed for suspicion of much less (or at least that's my background). I've never known anyone to do something like this (although maybe some have) The appointment was in the afternoon, and annoyingly, I had finished all the work I needed to do by the previous night. I had nothing to do, and I couldn't stand hanging out with a friend since I could barely speak. Now I've done some scary stuff in my life (And I'm not just talking about skydiving, although I did that too), but none of them made me this nervous. Was it a trap? Would I offend her in my sheer nervousness somehow, what do I say, how do I sit, what if I project on her, am I clean enough (Seriously I showered 2 times that afternoon before going, and brushed 3 times), and so on. A last minute confusion about the location partially distracted me, and when I saw her for the first time, I seemed to have forgotten everything and just relaxed. She was amazing to say the least. Later while talking, she said the experience can be liberating and I agreed. I just didn't appreciate how much. I did something that challenged me, and I didn't give in to my fear, and thank goodness for that! -
For the first time in I can't remember how long, I have absolutely nothing that needs to get done...I think this is what a vacation feels like. All work projects and school exams completed, and nothing till May!!! :D Anyway, I found this forum, and I'm glad I did. It seems that the prevalent culture that's fostered here is friendly, non-accusatory and overall respectful. I've been part of different forums over the years till I either lost interest or got annoyed at the people there, and I have been to only one other that is as polite as the one here, and that to because it's relatively small. I had not appreciated this entirely until I checked out other forums of the same nature, and wow, are the people nasty! I have to say, if I hadn't found this place first, I would've stayed away and might have formed a less then positive opinion of the entire industry. Thanks to helpful reviews, a gentle environment that's extremely considerate towards newcomers, I was comfortable in making a choice, and I'm so glad I did. It ha been an experience I won't be forgetting soon. I guess my point is, thank you all for being nice.

This was the first time I ever had an experience like this. To say I was nervous leading up to the session would be an understatement. Megan knew about my nervousness, and took lead throughout the entire time there. There are some people who have described what happens considerably more eloquently than I could, so I'll just end of with this. As I left, and stepped on to the street, I felt energized and relaxed to such an extent, I could not remember the last time I was at this state. Oh, and the lap dance was amazing! Definitely go for the 90 minute option. I loved the experience, and I will be going for it again.
