  1. There is someone with a pro-C36 agenda. His/her method of attack has been to cherry pick the worst of whats said and display it as being representative of what happens in this industry. Recently, through some digging, she/he released the name of someone (a member of another forum) on twitter. This person has been getting cheered on by the other antis. Be especially careful now. I feel comfortable here posting more information about myself, but I have started being extremely selective on what I share. I know most are, but this just gives me the creeps.
  2. Well, my one weird super power is that I have the best beard growing ability of anyone I know. Guys I know have seriously told me they are envious of my ability for perfectly uniform facial hair without any of the patchiness or other drawbacks. I've been asked by a fair number men and women to kindly grow out my facial hair. As an average looking guy, my super beard gets a lot of attention. Which is all fine and well, except I hate maintaining a beard and so I'm always clean shaven :p
  3. I've already said my piece, but I wanted to quote these because it echos my thoughts exactly. Okay, I lied, one last point. Reading what I have so far in this thread, I still don't know what I would have done in OP's situation. But as I said in a previous post, I appreciated when a lady cancelled because of her period. Nevertheless, I wouldn't have minded going forward, but with her disclosure, I'm sure we could have fun in other ways.
  4. To clarify, I said this - In response to this MP
  5. Good, because now I don't feel bad sharing the fact that I literally laughed out loud when I read this Glad you had a good time.
  6. Nice blog entry. Might I suggest adding it here. Lots of members check that thread out for new blog posts like yours.
  7. If your rationale for not sending face pictures is because of privacy, be careful with Skype or Face time. Screenshots can be taken easily.
  8. She has a no review policy. But I'll be adding that return money for a tip the next time.
  9. A certain lady I see on a somewhat regular basis did something recently that has put a smile on my face for the last few days. I had booked an appointment at the end of my day so I didn't have to go for meetings and boring stuff after. She knew that I prefer booking things so that I am unrestricted for time if there is a bit of a delay. A short time before we were to start, she tells me that she was getting delayed, apologized asked me if we could start a bit late. I had my laptop, so I went to a cafe close by and just browsed a bit. After I left her place, she texted me, and let me know that she put in some money in my bag to apologize for being late. She once tried to return money because I left earlier on a different occasion (long story, I thought I had stayed over my time, while I actually had about 30 min left), and I refused, so I think she decided this way I'd have no option but to accept it. It was completely unnecessary, but a nice gesture that made my weekend. Thought I'd share.
  10. I was once cancelled the morning of an appointment because she was experiencing the "time of the month" - her words. She cancelled because she said that it wouldn't be fair for me, and then offered a discount for the next time. Which was very sweet but unneeded. Honestly, I don't know how I'd react, so I'm not going to comment on what the OP did. With someone with more knowledge on the subject kindly share the science of it all. Many ladies have seemed to take the position that it is ridiculous to not work for a week a month. If anyone can comment on what it means in terms of safety, I think it might clear up a lot of misconceptions. Some guys, myself included are very clueless about periods :P - literally all I know is that it happens once a month, tampons and blood are involved, and sometimes it causes cramps.
  11. A friend of mine did. Got her entire body done (her father owned a clinic so she got it done for free). She loves the results.
  12. Try this link: https://mediahint.com/ You'll have to make an account. I got a new laptop, so I'll give it a go and let you know if it works. /edit - well poop, it's now a paid service. It works for those who got the add on before, but new users will have to pay. /edit 2- Work around! - Check this video, follow instructions, takes about <5 minutes.
  13. A google search on this very topic will yield a number of different results. What I've seen from the first 6 hits - 4 mention no tips, 1 mention tipping as if you ate their (15-20%), and 1 mentions tipping 0 to 10% (10% if there is a bit of extra service involved like curb side delivery or a large order). There is far from a universal unspoken agreement of tipping on this matter. Here is the one that mentioned 0-10% Personally, if I'm paying by cash, I'll round up to the closest five. If by credit/debit, I don't tip for take out (or maybe a dollar or two).
  14. Yes, but this first world problem has a solution. Additional Comments: In university, my very rich roommate had this problem. The solution was that she would give me money and I'd go down to get the food (that we'd bought eat). My first world problem from that was that my very rich roommate ordered too much food for us that I got fat.
  15. Well this thread has gone quite off topic. 1. I'm going to see if I get this right. OP has brought up an observation: 2. Provides an example of said observation: 3. Says something to try to explain his example further, I think may have caused confusion for those reading. (This particular issue isn't the point of the thread) 4. From what I gather, he was getting to this point And to his specific question, or one of them: Why do people feel that they should jump on things like that...? Personally, I agree. I've noticed that on occasion, someone new will come up, ask a question that probably due to naivety (or some other reason) that is taboo. I did this once when I was new. I posed a question on race and sex preferences (longer question in my thread history if you care to check). I know now that was a Cerb inappropriate question to ask, for a number of reasons. But fresh to Cerb me was clueless. Thankfully, as I was venturing into this world, the replies were short, and to the point, that it was inappropriate. And the thread died quickly. No multi-page thread of many many different members telling me the same thing, about how absurd the question even was, etc. (I did have an SP to quickly vouch for me which probably helped). My point being is that what I imagine The General is getting to is that some times, I've noticed responses are needless and harsh. Someone has opened up a thread on negotiating for rates, instead of simply pointing the OP to a number of previous threads on the topic, some members seem to go on full rant mode. While Cerb is generally friendly and a better alternative to other forums of the same nature, I feel it's trending towards a more hostile environment towards newcomers for this reason. Okay, I may have done a bit of a rant there.
  16. This is a good idea. The internet has been fantastic bringing people together, but has the annoying habit of keeping them together after they don't want to be. Distance is therapeutic (speaking from experience). So long, farewell.
  17. Since the topic is on loneliness, I just would like to share one option for those who are feeling alone. The Distress Centre of Ottawa I'm not knocking meeting SPs as a method to combat loneliness. However, in times where an SP is not available, or money is tight, calling the distress centre is free, and always available. The people who answer the phone go through rigorous training. If you are feeling overwhelmed, alone, sad, angry, or just bored, please call these people. For those outside Ottawa, there are distress centres all over Canada. You can find their number on google by searching "Distress Centre <Your town/city>".
  18. You know those screaming metal songs? Like this one: So there is a friend who I meet every so often. Every time he and I get in a car, we put up a song like this one, and just jam our heads at every red light with the windows down, doing completely stupid things. It seems to entertain everyone passing along. Just for kicks, we sway our hands as if we're in the ballet. Tl;dr - Put screamy music full blast, entertain other drivers with our silliness.
  19. If it's the simple, normal massage, I love giving one, but I think I love receiving one more. If it's the sort that Il Re mention in his Massage Porn thread It would really depend on my mood.
  20. Ah, okay. I've been on both sides of this, and I absolutely love it.
