I'm going to say it!
piano8950 replied to CristyCurves's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
You don't have to convince me on this. I agree. I'll put it this way, in the culture I grew up with, everything was negotiated on. This led to services and goods having an inflated price in anticipation for the bargaining. I've noticed that in North America, bargaining is something that people genuinely are uncomfortable with it (and I'm not talking about buying a car, or a house). My parents were probably one of the very few who hated the concept, and I grew up the same. But since you said this: In my last post I mentioned that I have to deal with the occasional hagglers. What I didn't say was that those clients have almost exclusively been from a particular part of the world (where I came from actually). As a new immigrant, and gradually over the years, I've noticed that Quebec culture is very different from the rest of US and Canada. I can't speak on the exact matter on negotiating, but with what you mentioned about Montreal men, one can conclude that either Montreal is full of cheap men, or there is a cultural aspect that drives this, or something completely different. You asked why, and just putting forward a theory that seems a bit familiar. My two pennies. -
I used to be one of those "nice guys". And it sucked. I read this somewhere, and while remaining true to myself, it has made my life much better. Paraphrasing since I don't remember the exact words. Best advice for life comes in a plane, put your own mask on first before helping others. Not many people respect the person who doesn't respect themself. Don't be a dick, but don't be a pushover as well. And you definitely don't need to constantly be the martyr and them expect other people to help you.

I can't speak for Quebec, but I can say that in some places, not negotiating for a better rate is just something a dumb person would do. It's highly expected, rates are created accordingly, and everything is fair game. I've never been one to negotiate, I'm absolutely rubbish at it, but I know people that have gone to Home Depot and asked for a better deal on a lawn mower (and got one!). There are three ways I dealt with negotiators for my business. - The first way was actually reduce my rates. I found that made me angry and put too much pressure on myself while feeling silly - I moved on to ignoring them completely - My standard procedure now is telling them all prices are final. Some people are cheap, and I want them to go away. Some have a negotiating gene inbuilt, but back down and become great clients. But I always ask for a deposit on signing, and then the remainder when I show up. -
"Drop the Pistol, Pete." Things were royally fun until a few moments ago. It started over something as silly as a joke over a white man and an old dog. In today's post Jabba world, after the evil Solo and his goons killed the beloved potato like creature, everyone was tense. "Put the pistol down and I'll give you a back rub man!" shouted some guy in the crowd. Cristy's curved her Excaliber over Pete. "I'll have you know that my sword is spongy and full of short cake!" Pete would've listened if he only knew that short cake was like regular cake, except it had the liquor that he hated as an ingredient. As Lady luck would have it, a cat ran in, and it was cute as a button. Both of them loved cats. All was forgotten. "Kiss, kiss, kiss!", yelled out someone watching the whole thing "Oh really mature Angela" - replied Phaedrus sarcastically.

I guess the only thing that I'd appreciate is the way a vibrator was introduced. Something like "hey, do you mind if we bring a vibrator in play" or something like that. Instead of it just randomly popping in, I think I'd just be a bit confused, wondering if it was there all along and that I'm losing it. But if the lady likes it in, I kinda actually think it's hot. One time, I asked if there was a specific spots, techniques she liked, and then I used it on her. It was the best sort of interactive show I have ever been to. I think it's the mindset. If I thought that this mechanical device was replacing me, I would probably not appreciate its presence. I think of it as a method to add on to an experience.

Here is the problem I have. With an election within a year away, the liberals roughly neck and neck with the conservatives, there needs to be talking points for the conservatives to get ahead. Assuming a variation of the Nordic model does get enacted, I do feel that there will be significant pressure on LEs to provide results. Something to show proof of a change, a "positive change" (Number of arrests made on johns, etc). The obvious low hanging fruit will be clients of street workers. But assuming an over zealous police department find incriminating information on a provider. Offer to toss it out if she trades in a client list. And high profile arrests are made. I think that this may be the absolute worst case scenario. I have a feeling that there might be a few MPs and senators who are currently clients of someone out there who would rather like matters hush hush. But here's the thing. In my years of driving or being a passenger, I have never once had an accident. I still wear my seatbelt just in case. Being caught in the old system seemed improbable. With the attention this is now getting, I feel that the risk is too dangerous. I would be comfortable continuing with a regular, but if she leaves the industry, I probably will too.

Prior to that comment, people had already started Without knowing everything that the OP did, without finding out if he tried to make amends, this thread just went down a bad path. -

Do you give a tip to the Ladies?
piano8950 replied to HonestPete's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I used to work in retail. This happens. Perhaps not as often as it should, but it happens. I had a colleague who patiently answered many questions to a customer, give him advice, basically go well above and beyond. The next day, that customer came back with a gift basket and gave it to my colleague. Tl;dr - I would tip said shoe person, perhaps with a gift card. -

Bit surprised with the blame game going on in this thread. The OP never blamed the SP, was caught of guard (who here hasn't reacted less than optimally in a situation they weren't prepared for?), and just shared a general story. -
Do you give a tip to the Ladies?
piano8950 replied to HonestPete's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I didn't initially. Or I'd round to the next $20, but I don't consider that a tip. More recently, I've seen the same person repeatedly. I've started to tip her $30-$50. I've noticed that she spends a lot of time getting things ready, the tip is more so a thanks for that extra effort. -
Genuine & Authentic... ?
piano8950 replied to Miss S. Lane's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My initial thought to the question was 'of course she should be herself!'. But I don't think it's as simple as that. I think her online presence should be true to herself. I literally saw someone just because of a very different approach to how she advertised, and I liked that about her. I think that being someone else might attract people you wouldn't normally like to be with, even in a professional capacity (but I say this without any experience on the other side). But in person, it's a bit harder. In a different field that I work in, I have my own set of clients, some that I absolutely love, and some that I'm not that fond of. I do feel myself going through the motions (smiling, complimenting, etc) when my client is not someone I probably wouldn't get along with outside work, and to those clients, they deserve that version of me. It would be hypocritical for me to say that all SPs should only be themselves with a client, and not put on a show, because in the end of the day, this is a method of income, and to risk it for some idealized notion is not realistic in my opinion. -
A question for the hobbiest
piano8950 replied to Exotic Touch Danielle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Honestly, I think the idea is kinda hot. Not something I'd do all the time, but in a few fantasies it could definitely make it much hotter. If you do go ahead with this, do look for something without a noisy dude, and a lot of his face shots. It might not go well. -
In Ottawa, I saw an SP a few times over a year and a half. I didn't see any other SP since she always provided excellent service, had a fantastic personality, and everytime I saw her, I felt she brought something new, and paid attention to things even I wasn't aware of. I'd go back and see her in a heartbeat if I wasn't in Toronto. But I found another fantastic MA. Because when I got in touch with her, it was for something different, I went back just to explore. She then took the initiative to do a lot more (I'm not talking about crossing any limits), and I started to enjoy the recent sessions much more then when I first saw her. I like sticking with the same person because I've notice in both cases, I have more fun the more I see them.

Extending your time
piano8950 replied to northernguy800's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I extended once, and she had one rate for the first hour, and another rate for the following hours. I don't remember how it happened, but I paid the other rate, not the first hour rate. -
Photo Album Resolution Increase ?
piano8950 replied to Mr.Goldfinger's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I would assume bandwidth requirements. The increase that you're talking about is huge, but it may be facilitated by removing pictures from profiles that haven't been active for a few years? Idk, that's up to Mod. -
A couple of occasions stand out as I was leaving the place. One was when she was completely naked, just walking around. I know I saw her at that state of undress, but I was just in awe about her confidence in her body. That was something I still remember. With another lady, as I was leaving, she grabs me in for a deep kiss, and I have to say, she really went for it. I honestly don't have any memories from what happened after, I was in a daze for a while.

Advise wanted - asking a sp for test results
piano8950 replied to badkirby's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
kirby, it seems that you're new. I think that you have the right mindset regarding STIs, it's something you should be concerned about. Your approach however will most likely not yield any results. But keep in mind a few things, a lot if not all these ladies are extremely knowledgeable in STIs. I have been very publicly schooled on this once, on Cerb too. My point is that I honestly feel more comfortable with SPs on the matter of STIs then I would with a non-SP that I met in a bar. Ladies here have a much greater understanding of the risks, have a STRICT no BBFS policy. But if this is still something that you are concerned about, I'd recommend seeing an MA instead. -

The one and only time I booked a half hour. It's as if my subconscious knew something was up. This lady was very well reviewed. I head there, have to wait 30 minutes close to her place (decided to wait a few blocks away at a Tim Hortons) since she said something was up. No biggie. Then she asks me to come. When I saw her, she was very pretty, there were no face pictures, but honestly I thought her to be very attractive. That's where the good stuff ended. It was a hotel room, and it was a massive mess. There was a dog there, which threw me off, but I for some reason was willing to let that go. It was a very surreal experience, I could see, plain as day all her cash on the table. She acted very nonchalant about the whole thing. I paid her, went to the bathroom to freshen up, I honestly did not know what to make of it. I came out pretending to have a stomach ache (I'm sure she saw through my bullshit), and left. I lost a little bit of my money, but that was just a surreal experience. She's active (not on Cerb), and seems very intelligent. Idk what to make of it still. So that was my turn around story. Basically paid the entire amount for waiting and then spending 5 minutes with her.

What is Sexy to you?

I was going to post a picture of a zombie with a 'Brains' caption, but they all looked seriously disturbing; and I didn't want to get on anyone's blacklist for creepiness. But yeah, this: -
